We were a group and had a good experience at Shiroyama last time, so we booked this on July 9th. There is a shuttle bus to Yugawara Station. It's about a 30-minute walk. When we got to the room, the TV didn't turn on, so we called and they came to fix it. It wasn't a malfunction, but it turned on after we had it adjusted. They came right away. I like the amenities quite a bit. There is a ReFa hair dryer, and the POLA shampoos have a nice scent and I like them. The room was cleaned nicely. The indoor bath is not made of cypress or rocks, but of normal materials like you'd find at home. The water is not carefully selected and is not free-flowing, so it has a strong smell like disinfectant and chlorine. We ate in a semi-private dining room. The food is delicious. There are no problems. The only thing that was disappointing was the staff's response to the stamp issue. I introduced an acquaintance to this inn, and he told me that he had stayed here for one night in late June, so I had heard about it. Apparently they only stamp the room if you make a reservation directly, and my acquaintances who made a reservation through a different route got their stamp this time only. We didn't make a reservation directly either, but my acquaintance got the stamp, so when we explained the situation, they said that we couldn't let them in because we introduced our acquaintance. The person in charge came to our room to tell us about it. They said it was okay for our acquaintance but not for us. The reasoning was that if they allow one person, it will spread. But it's strange that they were okay with our acquaintance. I was very disappointed with the way they handled it. And, even though they said it had been renovated, there were bugs near the built-in refrigerator, probably G's children. They were wandering around and it was disgusting.

Water is added, heated, circulated, and disinfected with chlorine, but there is no chlorine smell and the water is good. The private bath had free flowing water from the source. The food was generally highly rated in the reviews, but I think it's on the same level as Itoen Group's Japanese cuisine. It's not bad, but you can't enjoy the food by tasting it. The simmered food was warm, but the soup stock was bland and disappointing. There were a lot of items and the white rice was delicious, so I was full. The breakfast is also voluminous, but everything is laid out on the table, so if you don't get there quickly, the dried horse mackerel will get cold. Especially for dinner, if you have high expectations for the food, you may be disappointed as the overall feel of the food is not very homemade. Although you can only drink it in the lobby for a limited time, there is free coffee service, and the rooms are large and there are only a few rooms, so you can relax in the room while soaking in the hot spring.I think Sugina is a high-cost accommodation near Yokohama. .

There are not many guest rooms so it was relatively quiet. The food was also good. You could get a good view of the planes flying and the full moon from the hot springs. Perhaps because we happened to stay on the weekend, the price difference from weekdays was dramatic and it felt a little pricey. I think you will be more satisfied if you stay on a cheaper weekday if possible.

湯河原駅から送迎あり。ホテル周辺は何も無く、10分歩けばコンビニがある。また、1Fロビーにとても小さなお土産ショップはあるがお酒は売っておらず、部屋で晩酌したいなら持ち込むのが良いかも。 朝晩ともに提供スタイル。朝食はしっかりしていてよかった。泊まった部屋が和洋室で、ベッド２台の他に和室もあり、とても広かった。 温泉は露天あり。アメニティは配布型でローション等あるのは嬉しい。
