The place is lovely and old ladies are so friendly and kind :) . The location is not heart of the old town but just over 20mins walk so if you like to enjoy fresh air - it must be a plus :) . Onsen bath is good & clean but there are only 2 so must check before going. The house vibe is peacful and so chill~~

Had a great stay! The area is very beautiful and the Onsen is great! Also the hosts are very friendly. There are many parking lots available, even though we came a bit late. It was great! Thanks a lot!

It was really, really, really good. The breakfast was good. The room was good. I liked the price. The kindness made it even better. It was so good that I definitely want to go there again. When the weather is cool, I think you can have a campfire and BBQ. There are all the facilities in the yard. I highly recommend it. One of the most unforgettable one-day experiences in Japan travel, such a kind family! It was raining when we returned to the station. Our 86-year-old grandfather personally escorted us to the station. The family's warmth and kindness left a deep impression on our family. We ordered breakfast, which was incomparably delicious! I hope I can stay here next time. I will miss this beautiful place and the kind family here❤️

A very beautiful country house that blends into the scenery. The landlady is very nice.

The location is about a 20-minute walk from downtown and is at the very end. As you can see in the review, it was actually nice because I went to see the countryside, but it was scary at night^^; too dark I stayed in a Japanese room for 3 nights. The two owners, who appeared to be mother and daughter, were very friendly and the young lady spoke English fluently, so it was comfortable! They said there were two hot springs, one large and one small, so we only stayed in the large hot spring. We locked the door and it was just us, so it was private, but since the accommodation was in the countryside and old, there were a lot of cobwebs in the hot spring. I didn't see any spiders and the inside of the accommodation was very clean. I only ate breakfast once, and it was soso for me, but I guess my husband didn't like it. (It comes with rice balls, mushrooms, etc.) We also rented a bicycle, so we had fun haha.

Although the B&B is a bit far from the JR station, and it takes about 12 minutes to walk with suitcases, the B&B is very quiet and comfortable. The Japanese-style room is very spacious, and there is a separate toilet and washbasin in the room. To take a bath, you need to go to a public bathroom or in the B&B. After soaking in the hot springs, I took a shower and had a very rich breakfast. The host also has a greenhouse with various flowers and plants. You can visit it for free. Yufuin is beautiful and the B&B is also great.

It's a really good place to stay The road is so pretty and nice. It takes about 15 minutes from the station, so Be sure to walk. The ryokan had a family bath, which was nice, and I recommend you eat breakfast. The hotel lady was also kind, and I stayed there in a good mood.

The breakfast is rich in food, there is a greenhouse and garden, sleeping on the tatami is very comfortable, and there is also a private hot spring♨️.

The hostesses were so kind and nice, the breakfast was delicious, and the facilities and view were great. I used a Japanese-style room, and the kotatsu was warm and the futon was spacious, so I slept more comfortably than the bed. If I come back to Yufu, I will 100% stay here. Absolutely awesome, 10 out of 5.

It is a quiet and secluded place. The staff were friendly and the meal was very good. If I have the chance next time, I would like to visit again.

Lao Piniang is so friendly, the beds are so comfortable, the hot springs are good, they have their own greenhouse to grow their own plants, the breakfast is very delicious, and there is a Strawberry orchard nearby. I will come back if I have the chance.
