The location is very convenient for bus as it is just 2 minutes walk across the road. The staffs are friendly and polite. They ask you to make bed yourself and this is a bit not to the price. They offered 2 meals as covered in the price although the meals offered is a self-serving fixed curry rice (dinner) and instant soup with rice and eggs (breakfast). The room facilities are barely surviving and they have a VHS tape player in the room. Overall speaking, for a stay without nothing to ask, that’s fine. Do not expect the price makes a difference too much, it’s just for the convenience of location.

The hotel is Japanese style. The staff is great. It doesn’t provide food services but it has Japanese style breakfast. I would definitely stay here because it’s clean and just opposite to Asahigaoka bus stop. Also, it’s like 1 minute walk to the Yamanako lake. It’s not very overpriced. And plenty of foreigners had reservations in this hotel.

Staff were super friendly and the place was really clean. It is very convenient to catch public transportation. Breakfast here was good experience and tasted great too. I would like to stay here again if I am traveling to Fuji Mountain again. Highly recommended.

Super friendly staff, great hotel! Opposite one of the main bus stations for the area so I didn't have to lug my bags very far. Walking round the lake for the sunrise was the highlight of my trip, so glad I stayed in this area!

The room was very nice! Wish we could have stayed longer than one night. The only downside was the noises outside because we left the window open at night. Will definitely consider staying here again next time.

Lovely hotel with spacious traditional Japanese rooms. The staff are friendly. The public bath is really nice. They serve a very affordable breakfast and dinner, we didn’t get to try it but we appreciate the option as there aren’t too many restaurants nearby. The location is quiet and peaceful, a little out of the way if you are relying on public transport, but if you’re driving it’s excellent with ample parking.

Honestly the hotel is quite heritage to our families, quite overpriced and overrated. By the way the first photo for this hotel pages is not right, as it’s showing another nearby attraction but it’s not belong to the hotel itself

The room is clean and the boss is very nice. It's my first time staying in a Japanese tatami room. The room was ok to sleep on. There is a microwave and chopsticks next to the elevator, which is very convenient. The bathing toiletries smell good. Breakfast is a choice of tea rice or raw egg rice, which I'm not used to. Dinner is curry rice

The onsen is nice and comfortable, although not very big. The hotel provides toothpaste, bathrobes and slippers. There is a bus stop next to the hotel to Fuji-Q Highland, which takes about 45 minutes. In addition, Kakabus is right in front, which is very convenient

It takes about 50 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Hiranohama Beach, so those who want to watch the sunrise in the morning need to have enough physical strength and get up early. But the uncle at the front desk was very nice and introduced us to the electric scooter in their hotel. This was the second highlight of this trip. It is more labor-saving and time-saving than riding a bicycle. We also relied on this small car to discover the hidden breakfast shop "Nongjia Kafe" on the other side of the river. Eating Japanese breakfast while looking at Mount Fuji is relaxing and comfortable. It only takes 20 minutes to get from the hotel to the plain by scooter. If you don't stop for breakfast or take pictures, it will only take about an hour and a half to go around the lake. Highly recommended! Enjoy the silky smoothness of a secret place with few people! The price is 2,000 yen per hour, which is very reasonable. What’s more worth mentioning is that we arrived at the hotel very late that day, and the uncle at the front desk was very patient in explaining and teaching us how to use the scooter, and even accompanied us to practice in the yard. I was really moved at the time, and it once again proved that the Japanese people in the countryside are very simple and patient! Moreover, this hotel originally opened its doors and began serving at 6 o'clock in the morning, but because we wanted to watch the sunrise and set off at 5 o'clock, this uncle got up early to help us open the door. When we rode away on our bikes, he stood at the door and watched us go away. He was very worried about our driving skills, but fortunately we completed the task smoothly! shortcoming: 1. You need to make your own bed in the hotel 2. The air conditioner/heater is noisy and too dry 3. Walking or running upstairs will be noisy 4. Daily cleaning service is not provided. You need to tell the front desk specifically to help with cleaning. (But we specifically mentioned it that day and gave the key to the front desk, but they still didn't help us clean) Summarize: The convenient transportation and the service of the front desk staff are highly recommended. For those who come here for the first time, you must choose a place with convenient transportation. The accommodation conditions are not that good, but they can fully meet daily needs.

The hotel has a very nostalgic feel, the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Yamanaka Lake to take pictures, and very close to the pier to take a boat to the lake, overlooking Mount Fuji, unfortunately in a hurry to the zoo did not have time to go.
