Japanese Ryokan Stylel was nice. It closed to ski resort very convenient if you plan to play ski too. If you come in winter. You can see outside view from your room with a lot of snow. That's was great.

I have a wonderful time at Zao Onsen Omiya Ryokan! The front desk able to speak basic english. I booked a traditional style of futon bed, everything is clean. Their dinner is strongly recommended! Abit pricy but definitely worth it

My stay at the hotel was decent. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable enough. The staff was generally polite, but I felt they could have been more attentive. The location was convenient, and the breakfast was satisfactory. Overall, it was a standard experience without any standout features.

5-8 min walk to nearest ski lift. Food is good. Shops and restaurants are nearby.

Great Ryokan and food. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place. From the outside it didn’t look like a hotel for tourists but we’re pleasantly surprised after we stepped inside. It’s a beautiful Ryokan and probably the best in the area. Only complaint is there’s nothing much else around. Most of the restaurants are closed for business and not many shops around as well.

We stayed here for the second time in three days, it's a pity there were no places for all the days. Our favorite oyokan in Zao! I definitely recommend it to everyone!

Transportation: We arrived by chartered car, not sure if it would be easy to get there by ourselves, but they have their own parking lot. There is a small uphill slope at the entrance of the hotel in the parking lot, which is a little slippery when it snows, so be careful. Hotel: Tatami in all rooms! You have to take off your shoes as soon as you enter the hotel ~ Japanese-style hotels are very clean 🥹No problem! There are not many rooms but there is no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up (the hotel staff will help you carry it, but you have to carry it yourself when you check out 🤣). The route is a bit complicated, like a maze 🤣, but it's quite interesting! There is also a public space on the 2nd floor where you can eat and drink! Service: The staff at the counter don’t speak English very well, so communication is a bit difficult. It can even be said that they are very confused... Maybe you should prepare a translation machine! It is also best to confirm the scheduled items (such as shuttle buses) again and again! Facilities: There is no bathroom in the room, but there is a 24-hour large bath! The bathhouse is small but well-equipped

Environment: Very quiet. Service: Great. The front desk made an appointment for a shuttle bus to Zao Shaku. The snow scenery is beautiful.

The room was very clean. The breakfast and dinner included in the hotel were very rich and delicious. The hotel is about 7 minutes away from Zao Ski Resort.

Very good hotel experience. The hot spring is great, very clean, and the room is large. The breakfast variety is too rich.

Traditional Japanese inn, but bright, new room facilities, reasonable layout. The hot spring is comfortable. There are massage chairs in the public area on the second floor, and coffee and snacks are provided free of charge. It was a pleasant surprise compared to the first day of staying in the hotel.

The hotel is quite good in the hot spring town, but the hot spring pool is too small and the water is not hot enough.
