I would recommend the hotel for other foreign travellers. I appreciated very much, that even some people of the breakfast staff spoke English. Makes it much easier for guests, which cannot speak Mandarin. Everything else also on a very good standard.

Taihu New City /Haian City/Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center
As a hotel lover and an InterContinental member, I booked the newly opened InterContinental Wuxi Taihu New City for a 3-day, 2-night trip to Wuxi. Because we came on a working day on Friday, there were not many guests staying. I booked a one-bedroom suite, and the front desk guy helped us upgrade to a large suite that is not available for external reservations. The room is on the 19th floor, about 100 square meters. There is a guest bathroom at the entrance, and then there is a reception area and a dining area. There is a large display cabinet behind the dining table. There is a small park outside the window, and the scenery is also good. The master bedroom is also very large, the bedding is very comfortable, there is also a large sofa in the room, there is a separate cloakroom, the master bedroom's washing area is also very large, there are shower rooms and bathtubs, you can take a bath to relax after returning to the hotel after a tiring trip. The hotel facilities are very new and there is no smell. Welcome fruits have been prepared in the room when you check in. There are many varieties and they are also very fresh. In the afternoon, I tasted afternoon tea in the executive lounge. The little brother's service was super good. Because it was a working day, there were few people coming, and they were all prepared one by one. We also had dinner in the executive lounge on the first night. The food was delicious. When we returned to the room, they had already made the bed for us. It was really considerate. On the second night, we chose to have a buffet at Yuan Coffee. There were many varieties, and there were small food trucks to deliver Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, Xiao Qinglong, Wellington steak, roast duck and freshly made cocktails🍸. It was fully booked on Saturday night. It was really popular on weekends. Although the hotel is quite remote, there is a Gonghu Bay Wetland Park and Xuntang Ancient Town nearby, which can be visited. Overall, the service is very good and it feels like home.
