I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. what I expected to be a pleasant family trip, the experience fell far below acceptable standards. Key Issues: 1. Lack of Child-Friendly Accommodations: The hotel failed to provide a proper extra bed for my child, despite prior arrangements. On the first night, after three requests,we were only given a throw pillow as a substitute for a proper pillow. The staff dismissed my concerns and even told me not to raise my voice when I sought help this was unacceptable, especially after a long journey when we were exhausted. 3. Unacceptable Incidents: False Scarcity of Basic Amenities: Staff repeatedly claimed the hotel had no spare pillowsand only one blanket left an implausible and outrageous assertion for any reputable establishment. 4. Uncomfortable Room Conditions: The room temperature was fixed at a freezing 16°C with no heating or adjustable thermostat. We endured this until the third night when we finally received proper blankets. 5. Inconsistent Service: While some staff later were polite, the initial treatment (particularly on the first night) was appalling. I chose not to escalate further to avoid ruining our trip, but my child had to endure" these conditions for all four nights. 4. Unacceptable Incidents: False Scarcity of Basic Amenities: Staff repeatedly claimed the hotel had no spare pillowsand only one blanket left an implausible and outrageous assertion for any reputable establishment. The so-called last blanket provided was visibly stained and unclean. When I requested a replacement, I was told no alternatives existed . This is either deliberate dishonesty or gross mismanagement. Expectation: Given the premium paid, I expected basic comforts like warm bedding, respectful service, and child-friendly solutions. Instead, we felt neglected and unheard. Positive Notes: The breakfast offerings and dining staff were exceptional.The quality, variety, and attentive service made our mornings enjoyable. Specific team members [mention names if possible] provided warm, professional hospitality that stood in stark contrast to other issues we faced.

A short train journey away from Universal, super easy to get there, with excellent help from reception. Very cool room with a great rock feature in the window! Struggled to use the TV and Chinese Alexa (?) but didn’t try too hard as I was only there for one night. Still 5 stars.

Brilliant. On the water, just far enough away from the busy CBD yet you can walk there for shopping, beautiful walks around the point and through the gardens, all staff provided fabulous service, incredible wharf converted into modern hotel, loved the brekkie too. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Team Ovolo!

Very nice view from our room widows. There are full of different types restaurants on the ground floor. But If you close the window, the sound proof is excellent which I typically want to recommend. Stuffs are friendly and helpful, willing to give you recommendations if you are first-time visitors. They even wrote a welcome card. They have a ballroom here just opposite the reception, holding different personal events every night. I like the vibe which means it's popular place and safe. The hotel is friendly to those who travel with dogs. They have special bed and food for dogs. But we didn't need it and the dog net door barked very early in the morning. We were OK with it. At the other aspect, the hotel goes too much. The breakfast is allllll for vegetarians. Yes, all. As a guest, you are left with no choice. This is the only point that I particularly hate. Be whatever you like, just don't push others to do the something, especially when you are running a business.

This is my second stay. The last time was before the pandemic. I feel that the hotel has not changed much overall, but there are some minor adjustments. There is a pungent smell of spray paint in the corridor near the room. After I told the front desk, I immediately changed the room and gave a bottle of red wine. The only thing I think is that the hotel parking is expensive.

The hotel is unique and was renovated from a pier. The location is quite convenient. At the seventh stop of Bigbus, walk about 500 meters to the NSW Art Gallery, and then walk about 500 meters to St. Mary's Church and Hyde Park, and walk about 200 meters to the Sydney Museum. It is about 500 meters from St. Mary's Church to David Jones Shopping Center. It is about one kilometer to the Opera House and the Rocks. It is very suitable for city walks, but not as noisy as the central area.

The room was quite large and modern, and it was interesting to renovate an old shipyard. However, I encountered a cockroach in the bathroom during my stay. I called the front desk to help immediately. Not only did it not get rid of it, but a second one appeared. The front desk just said coldly that tonight was fully booked and they couldn't change rooms. Later, the staff only gave us another room after we repeatedly insisted that we couldn't stay. Then we were not given any compensation afterwards. The appearance of cockroaches in a five-star hotel is very unacceptable. The service attitude is not good enough. It is definitely not recommended.

Beautiful room, large in size, clean bathroom, bathtub, snacks provided, drinks in the minibar are free and refilled the next day. The lobby and the exterior of the hotel are very photogenic. The surrounding restaurants are pretty good. There is a bus to the QVB at the door. It is very convenient. It is very close to the Botanic Garden and the Art Museum. It can be reached by walking. Through the Botanical Garden is Circular Quay and the Opera House. , walking is not hard either.

The comfortable experience of a five-star hotel. It's a pity that I don't have time to enjoy the bathtub. The room is very big, there is a mini bar for free, and there are welcome snacks. The hotel facilities and services are very good, the waiters are enthusiastic, the rooms are large, there is an internet celebrity hot dog shop next to it, shopping and gas stations have a complete range of convenience stores, there are Big Bus, 311 bus stops

The room decoration is very unique and the service response is timely. Cons: There are cockroaches. Although the soundproofing of the room is very good, it can be noisy when there are activities.

The hotel is designed in an industrial style. The original site was a cargo terminal. The visual effect is very good, and the service staff are also very enthusiastic. Although there is no breakfast, the food, beverages and wine in the minibar can be enjoyed every day. The 5th floor, which is the top floor, is a loft room with a good view, but it rained on the first night, and the raindrops hit the roof with a loud sound, so I didn't sleep well. It is close to the botanical garden next to it, but it is best to take a taxi to the commercial street because the hotel is at the port and the commercial center is on the hillside, so you have to take a detour and go up and down the hill. The shower in the bathroom is broken and the water splashes. The drainage speed is a little slow, but the overall stay feels good, so these minor problems can be ignored. The whole building is not only a hotel, but also some restaurants and bars, as well as apartments where residents live. Not only are there many sculptures in the building, which I like very much, but there are also many good works of art on the dock outside the hotel. If you always like art and design, it is recommended to come here to experience it.
