Hotels in Banyuewan/Maotou Mountain, Weihai

The hotel facilities are complete, and the service is excellent. It's right by the sea, and the beach is beautiful. There are also many takeout options available! Stepping out and seeing such a beautiful view is truly amazing! The room decoration is also great, I didn't take any pictures, but it has smart curtains and everything, and the bed is very comfortable.

This trip to Weihai was very successful. We first visited Banyue Bay Beach and then decided to go to Haiyuan Park. After looking at hotels in the area, we chose this one, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The receptionist was very welcoming, and the room was much cleaner than the ones we stayed at near Banyue Bay Beach before. We would definitely stay here again next time we come.

Came to Weihai with the kids and chose this hotel at Half Moon Bay. The location is great! We picked a room with a balcony, and you can just about catch the sunrise from there, which was awesome 😎. The only downside is that it doesn't have its own dedicated parking lot. Luckily, there's free parking available on the street behind the hotel, otherwise, parking would have been a real headache. At around 250 RMB, this is probably the best value hotel with a view of Half Moon Bay for June. I bet it'll be super busy next month!

This is Weihai's State Guesthouse, and as expected, the location is excellent. The room facilities were surprisingly good; we even got an upgrade to a room with a partial sea view, which was fantastic. The hotel staff were incredibly enthusiastic – from the lobby manager and front desk to the floor attendants, the friendly doorman, and the restaurant staff – everyone demonstrated exceptional professionalism and a genuine passion for service. It's clear the entire hotel is incredibly well-managed right now! Our stay was extremely comfortable and added significant positive emotional value to our trip. This is definitely a hotel we'll choose again next time we visit Weihai.

Coming during the off-season meant fewer people and a peaceful atmosphere. The ocean-view room had huge floor-to-ceiling windows, so I could watch the sunrise and sunset right from bed. There was also a big bathtub, and they even provided disposable bath liners, which was a real treat. I brought my dog along this time, and he loved it too, constantly sitting by the bed staring at the sea – he was so happy! But more than the room, I absolutely adored the hostess! She's like a walking encyclopedia of Weihai! Every day, I'd just bug her for recommendations, skipping all the planning and getting to try all sorts of delicious food. It was perfect for a lazy person like me; I just arrived, relaxed, and enjoyed the food and sights! Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend it!

I stumbled upon this hotel with a floor-to-ceiling sea-view window room online and immediately fell in love with it. So, I took advantage of the three-day Qingming Festival holiday to visit Weihai. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, and the actual experience was fantastic! From the hotel's **exterior**, it felt like an older four-star, but once I entered the lobby, the overall impression was very neat, clean, and bright. You could tell that the hotel put effort into maintaining its facilities. The staff were also very enthusiastic, even calling a day in advance to confirm my itinerary and preferences. The **service** was excellent. Since I arrived quite late on the first night, after 10:00 PM in Weihai, I booked a **standard king room** for the first night. It offered a street view, not the sea. The room was quiet and very clean, perfect for a good night's rest. On the second day, around 9:00 AM, we moved to the sea-view room I had been looking forward to. I booked the **Deluxe Sea View Terrace King Room**. The room was still very clean and quiet. The interior decoration was on par with a five-star hotel (though the walls were a bit patchy and could use a repaint). Upon entering, there was a bathtub, and then the super large floor-to-ceiling window and terrace came into view. In front of the window, there was a soft sofa, which was incredibly comfortable and relaxing for drinking tea or coffee – it just made me so happy. The view from the terrace was also stunning; the sea was very clear on sunny days. In the evening, you could watch the sunset from the room. What could be more romantic than that? The **breakfast** restaurant was a sea-view restaurant with a huge floor-to-ceiling window. Outside, there was a trestle bridge, the sea, and seagulls – the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast selection wasn't super extensive, but it covered most Chinese breakfast essentials, and the taste was good. For a four-star hotel, it was really impressive. The **location** is in Huancui District, not far from attractions like Torch 8th Street. There are also many good restaurants nearby. Downstairs are Jinshatan Beach and the Jinhaiwan Trestle Bridge, where many seagulls hover. The hotel has an elevator that goes directly to the beach, and guests are given an exclusive wristband. For families with children who want to play in the water during summer, it's very convenient – you can go straight back to your room via the elevator to wash up after playing. Overall, the accommodation experience was excellent! Full marks, highly recommended!

This was a wonderful surprise on our trip! The room truly had an ocean view, with a terrace directly facing Half Moon Bay beach and the sea. In the morning, I pulled back the curtains and watched the entire sunrise from bed. Sitting on the balcony, I could enjoy the sea breeze, take photos, and soak up the sun – it was incredibly relaxing and comfortable. The room itself was also decorated in a very artistic and cozy way.

The hotel's location right by Half Moon Bay Beach is super convenient for getting around. When we checked in, the staff even gave us some beach toys, and there are shared electric scooters and quad bikes available for rent right outside the hotel. The room was huge and had a mini-fridge. It was so relaxing to sit by the window, look at the ocean, and enjoy some takeout. We even extended our stay for another night! The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. 👍🏻 A special shout-out: The hotel breakfast is absolutely amazing – don't miss it! (◔_◔) haha 🙊 (chuckle)

The hotel is very new and the service is very good. I contacted the airport pick-up in advance and the minion car was very popular with the children. There is a beach right outside. Children can dig in the sand freely. There are not many people there and there are many photo spots. The hotel also provides travel photography. Previously, Sanya offered 5 free negatives for travel photography, but here they actually give them all because the new store has opened to give back to customers, which feels like a profit. The only drawback is that there are too many windows that let in light, and the children wake up too early and start digging in the sand🤭🤭

Just entered the room, there was a smell that was unclear. The room is quite big and the overall environment is good. A few minutes walk from the grape beach. I didn’t use the bathroom at night and didn’t find it. I took a shower the next morning and found that the bathroom window was bad. At first, I thought it was open. The wind was so strong. The exhaust was still windy. I checked the window and finally found that the window was broken. The screw on it was loose. If the screw below also falls, the whole window will smash down, which is quite dangerous. In the end, it still doesn't close tightly. It's a bit windy and cold when taking a shower.
