The hotel is in a perfect location. We are all
Our evening meals at the hotel. The breakfast was perfect . The staff was wonderful , friendly, helpful and cheerful. Can’t wait for our next trip to return to the Granville and Waterford.
The location is great. The breakfast was great too. Only thing is there is too much of disturbance coming from other rooms, everyone running around! Overall the stay was great.

The Granville Hotel is a 4-star hotel in the centre of Waterford city and, from our experience (4 couples who stayed there for 1 night in 4 double room), it is worthy of that star rating. We ate dinner together in its lovely Bianconi Restaurant and were very happy with the food and drink we were served and with the excellent service. Breakfast was also served there, and the level of service and choice of fare offered were also very good - including the hot food options which were cooked to order and brought to the table rather than delivered via a self-service buffet. We stayed in standard double rooms which were quite spacious, well decorated, clean and well heated (we were there in February), Our rooms also had air conditioning, which we did not need to use. Here are another couple of things to be aware of: The Granville does not have its own cark park but has an arrangement with the Clock Tower Car Park across the road. Bus Eireann's Expressway bus terminus is a short walk away on ther other side of the road, while Waterford's railway station is on the other side of the River Suir (walkable at a push). It doesn't have a swimming pool or a spa but that didn't bother us.

It's worth staying here, the breakfast was very good and the room too. They let us check in early, which was a nice touch!
