"We booked a one-night stay on short notice and were so glad to have found this place. The host responded quickly, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. The room was clean and tidy, fully equipped (including a water dispenser), and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate eight people. The location is very convenient, close to the highway, making it easy to access various attractions. There's also a morning market within walking distance for local food and daily necessities. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much to Wayne and his team for their warm hospitality. Keep it up! 👏"

"Hard Rock - Pleasant stay. Getting a superb experience from the Lagoon room. It is an amazing experience with the pool just in front of your room deck. Head into the pool for a swim anytime and back to the deck to chill on the bench. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, on the contrary, it is a bit disappointing on the concierge side as there is a contrast if comparing the two. Breakfast is great. A lot of selection and food is holding up its quality. However, the decorations and renovations seem to be a bit ‘outdated’, but not sure if this is intentional. The pool and surrounding facility are great as well, with the beach feel with sand on the floor surrounding the pool. There are sections of the pool which have sand as well. One thing to take note of is they have lifeguards on duty."

"This apartment, though categorized as a homestay, offers facilities and service quality that surpass many star hotels. Having stayed in numerous international homestays, this one is truly exceptional. The host is incredibly responsive on WeChat, almost 24/7, and goes above and beyond to assist. The apartment boasts brand-new facilities, with no unpleasant lingering renovation odors. The master bedroom is thoughtfully furnished with two queen-sized beds, and there's a sofa bed in the living room, plus an additional tatami sleeping mat, making it perfectly suited for families. Its location is incredibly convenient, with hawker stalls and convenience stores right downstairs. Both the city center and the airport are just a 15-20 minute taxi ride away. The building also provides 24-hour security, which offers great peace of mind, as safety is paramount when traveling. I will absolutely choose this apartment again on my next visit to Penang."

"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at PARKROYAL Penang! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The service was excellent, and the entire team—from the front desk to housekeeping was professional, warm, and attentive. I surprised my husband with a birthday treat during our stay, and the hotel team made it extra special by sending the birthday surprise after we returned from the pool, which was such a thoughtful touch. My husband also planned to surprise me for our anniversary, and although the swan decoration on the bed was set up after we arrived, I truly appreciated the effort it was romantic and made the moment unforgettable. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious great variety, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. The dining experience at Cinnamon Restaurant was made even better by the warm hospitality from Nadia, Hidayah, and the entire team. Special thanks to Zeyati, our room service staff, for her kindness and attention to detail, and to the bellman who helped us with our bags so efficiently. A big shoutout to the two amazing crew members at the Kids Club (sorry forget their name but i have picture of them) they were so attentive and caring with the children. My kids absolutely loved them, and their warmth made a big difference in our stay. We truly appreciate their effort and energy! The room was clean and spacious, the facilities were top-notch, and the beach access was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hospitality shown by the crew and team was beyond expectations. Everything was excellent, and I truly appreciate the care and attention from everyone at PARKROYAL Penang. We’ll definitely come back again! "This home is perfectly designed — cozy and convenient! We loved our stay at 22 Macalisterz, managed by Wayne. The unit was spotless, stylish like a boutique hotel, yet still warm and practical. The little touches amazed us — from the water dispenser to the medical shower chair, and even Muslim-friendly kitchenware and prayer items. Truly exceeded our expectations! Families will find it especially thoughtful, with a baby cot, bathtub, and high chair all provided for a stress-free stay. The rooftop infinity pool was another highlight — breathtaking views of George Town during the day and beautiful Komtar lights at night. The location is strategic, with famous food stalls and restaurants just steps away. We couldn’t be happier with our stay and highly recommend it! 💯"

"George Town's main area felt a bit dated. I initially wanted to book a charming boutique hotel, but after reading numerous reviews complaining about old facilities, I quickly abandoned that idea. Instead, I opted for a newer apartment-style homestay. For our family of four (two adults, two children), this homestay was truly perfect. It features two bedrooms, a living room, and two bathrooms. The beds in both rooms appear to be queen-sized. The view from the master bedroom is simply wonderful, with the ocean visible to the right outside the window. The second bedroom, however, has a window facing the hallway, so we kept the curtains closed throughout our stay. It didn't affect our sleep at night, though. The apartment comes with a water dispenser, which was incredibly convenient. This meant we didn't have to buy bottled water or boil our own hot water. The host thoughtfully left coffee, tea, as well as some snacks and candies, which the kids absolutely adored. The advantages of choosing an apartment over a traditional hotel are immense. Even without considering anything else, the refrigerator and washing machine alone were a huge selling point. The fridge compartment was spacious enough, and the freezer could even accommodate ice cream. The washing machine was brand new, spotless, and very easy to operate. I brought my own laundry disinfectant, so we could wash our clothes daily upon returning, and they dried quickly when hung inside. This was incredibly beneficial for a family of four on a trip lasting over ten days, as it significantly reduced the amount of luggage we needed to pack. The amenities in Malaysian apartment complexes are generally excellent. Our building had a dedicated swimming pool and fitness facilities, which is quite different from what's typically found in China. The kids loved being able to use the pool every day. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Penang in the future."
