Hilton Garden Inn Wash DC Downtown Reviews

First time visiting Washington DC, it was an amazing visit. My stay @ Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC Downtown started out fantastic cause of the host Layla, she was so friendly & kind, she went above & beyond to make me feel very comfortable upon my early arrival. She switched rooms for me so I can have a better view, she gave me wonderful suggestions for theatre, dining, shopping, & entertainment. She checked on me throughout my 2 day stay to make sure things were going well with my visit. I had dinner @ The Third Rail Restaurant inside the Hotel & the food was great, I recommend the Pork Chops fantastic. My room was nice & clean, with a comfortable bed, amazing shower, wonderful indoor pool, various streaming choices to watch TV, housekeeping staff & other staff was just wonderful. If you're looking for a great place to stay look no further this is the place. It's within 10 mins of all the museums you can't go wrong.

Disappointed in first room which had odd layout and faces alley so I requested better room and they quickly accommodated but would’ve preferred they gave me better room to begin with since I think most people don’t like odd layout with view facing alley. Otherwise, room/bathroom was clean, tv had good selection of channels, and location was perfect where we were just minutes walk from White House and national mall and many good restaurants. Note that I used SpotHero app and found cheaper parking than what hotel offered. Not all garages allow unlimited in and out so make sure to check for this before booking.

I stayed at this hotel in D.C. because it was next to the women's march that I attended. My only negative was arriving at 2am, there was no obvious area to park my car while checking in.

Worst experience ever. Room not clean and they gave us a room by the area where they are loaded trucks that I had to woke up early because of the noise. I complained to the staff for it and they said we will open a case for it and you can tell the website where we booked through them to give me a discount for my stay but it was frustrating to talk to them and the manager always not available or out. I don’t recommend this hotel at all, it’s a waste of your time and money.

Hotel is very nice, clean with excellent location as very close to the White House. Front desk and housekeepare are very polite and helpful. The overall service and stay was great!

The customer service was lacking. The room was adequate, nothing more. The location was convenient to the National Mall sites.

Fridge was not working had to call maintenance. The location is stellar and front desk are kind. Lovely lobby.

Need to be clean properly

The location is chic, 5 minutes walk to the white house. But the room itself was not clean, the toilet was dirty, they found paper on the bedside table from adhesive plaster for legs of previous customers. After leaving, they withheld from me $ 5!!!

There are still many black homeless people on the street, but they will not take the initiative to talk to you
