Nice view and location if you stay at sunset pool water banglow. Spacious, room was very clean eventhough pool needs more cleaning and aircond servicing (water dripping). Some staff are friendly and helpful, thanks to Firdaus for keeping the room clean and restaurant staff Sagar, Azizah and Chaminda. Some staff were racist toward non-white with double standard services. Our host, he tried his best which requires improvement. Activities booking were a hassle for us due to booking pax limit eventhough resort was 98% occupied (?). Resort is not Muslims friendly, served pork and alcohol openly at restaurant. Not mobility friendly resort, be prepared to walk everywhere, 200-300m one way to restaurants, 300-500m one way to water activities centre, bar and reception. No buggy service (but you can repeatedly call for favor from your host and receptionist everyday and be prepared to wait around 15min- 1 hr) and no bicycle. Ongoing tug and war with host and reception in resolving guests' needs and issues. Receptionist/main reservation need to improve and provide clear communication instead of repeating same reply contents

This time we stayed in a water villa and a sand villa respectively. The hardware conditions of the water villa are better than those of the sand villa, but the sand villa is better for snorkeling, as you can go directly to the No. 1 snorkeling spot; the sea view of the water villa is more beautiful.

The sand house is quiet and refreshing, You can make an appointment at the restaurant and eat slowly, There are many activities in the water center, The SPA massage is super refreshing. The Chinese butler Boni is here, Eat well, play well, and rest well, If you have any questions, find Boni, You can have a worry-free vacation! P.S. Anis, Febi, and Dwi in the SPA center gave us an authentic massage experience.

Very good, top resort hotel. Don't book a house on the coral island, book one on the beach. The beach is right outside the house, and you can swim directly. Don't book an all-in. There are three restaurants. Just go to the restaurant. A meal costs about 60-70. The buffet costs 120, which is not cost-effective.

Boni, the housekeeper at noon, was great, patient and meticulous! We also solved the problem of the seaplane company overcharging us in time. The hotel also decorated the birthday and sent free red wine and cake, thank you! The room was cleaned and the water bar was replenished twice a day. The overall hygiene service was good. The room was decorated on the last day of departure, and the staff greeted us warmly!

Perfect vacation, although there were some minor incidents, but the Chinese housekeeper Boni helped us solve them smoothly, thank you very much. The beach on the island is very fine, snorkeling is excellent, there is a Chinese snorkeling instructor solo is very interesting, my mother said he looks like Xiao Ni, took him out to sea to see the manta, the experience was very good. Boni can solve things on the island immediately, especially worry-free service is very attentive and satisfactory, compared to Bora Bora where I have been before, I feel that coming here is economical and rewarding, the cost performance is too high, I will come again next time.

The room was very clean and I didn't find anything dirty on the bedding. The room was big. The beach was very white but not very fine. There were corals on the beach so you can't walk barefoot otherwise you'll get hurt. The island is not big and is perfect for a walk after dinner. Males come here by seaplane for 40-45 minutes, and then you need to connect to the hotel's boat transportation after arriving at the landing point next to the hotel. It was a little troublesome but the experience was good. The buffet restaurant is OK, don't use Michelin's mouth to test and compare. This is a parent-child hotel.

The housekeeper is also very friendly.

Large room, generally satisfactory service

Stayed on this beautiful paradise barefoot island for one week in December 2024, this was our second visit to this paradise island. There was no need to check in as we had already done it on there app prior to our arrival, we where met by our island host MO who did everything to make our stay extra special, as returning customers MO had lined up lots of little extras for us including massages, special four course dinner, dolphin cruise and booked us into the restaurants when they where already full on the app MO went above and beyond and was really appreciated. The main restaurant Aqua served up culinary masterpieces every meal time special thanks to chef Chaminda Poonam and Yunus. The staff in the restaurant made you feel right at home and where polite friendly and very knowledgeable thanks to a great team in the Aqua restaurant, Vijay Shakil Shayan Moosa Maya Jazlan Asmitha and Sagar you all made our holiday extra special. The Well Done restaurant sits perfectly on the beach opposite the jetty food is to die for as is the wine, special thanks to Dilshad and Chris. The spice restaurant also sits on the beach close to overwater villas food here again is 5 star and very popular with guests special thanks to Reddy. The whole island can be walked around in about 15 minutes, the snorkelling on the reef side is absolutely amazing. The main infinity pool is absolutely stunning looking straight out to sea and has Plenty of sun loungers and has pool bar serving drinks. We went on the all inclusive option which was fantastic value for money, would definitely recommend this hotel to for couples and families.

It was great holidays, Clean rooms nice ocean. Personel serving were helpfull and smiling always. Hope to visit again. Every staff member went above and beyond- every day! Especially Rakesh and Adhu! Rakesh kept our room in tip top shape, left us goodies, and created artful displays every day wishing us well :) We had some trouble with our outlet adapters, so rakesh came in and saved the day! Our US plugs worked thanks to him! We didnt do the all inclusive- only the breakfast option. As a honeymooning couple, here over the new year holiday- it was a good decision. Eating at the restaurants was surprisingly reasonable $$ - given you’re at a resort that IS the entire island. We dont drink much (a few glasses of wine and 2 tropical drinks) so we saved a ton of $$! It wasn't easy to leave the island to grab a quick bite elsewhere so they could've charged much higher prices! We were surprised you could get a burger and fries for $20. The only drawback was that the general store does not have much. It has a few basics, and some souvenir ashtrays, candles, hats, a very small corner of tshirts and 3 dresses. And the only other shopping you can do is at a jewelry store. It rained 2 days, so it wouldve been nice to be able to go visit a few stores right on the island. The rooms are adequate and clean. No dresser space, but some shelves. We got a pool villa, and lazing about on the deck or in the pool while over the ocean- the view, the breeze, the sun- perfection! Theres a hammock over the water too! We spent the vast majority of our time in the villa, enjoying the sounds and sights ❤️ Im a bit skittish about sea creatures so i didnt get in the water much. There were many fish, (beautiful and some quite large) right up to the shore! And we saw a baby stingray chillin out at slightly above ankle deep water!! There were nurse sharks in rather shallow water too, so while i know they wont hurt me- i still stayed out of the water. Thank God for the pool! And on the sand- hermit crabs are common, i kept worrying i would step on one, as even the smallest of shells had crabs in them! It was so cool! Overall- the staff really make the stay so much more amazing than the views could. They all work very hard to give you the best experience and they are always kind. Loved this trip!!

Had a lovely time at this property. From location to staff everything about this property is just great! We were there for the New Year’s, though the weather got little rainy, the celebrations continued and all the staff made sure that guests have a gala time and we did. Head chef Nitin has planned the all the meals with so much details with all the food being healthy and tasty. All the chefs at Vilu Reef are amazing and talented with magic in their cooking be it Chef Kushal, Chef Kiran, Chef Younos. I would specially like to mention Shakil, Vijay and Asmita from the Aqua restaurant who took really good care of us and our needs during our stay. Last but not the least Matiur our Villa attendant made our stay so relaxing by keeping our villa always clean and well serviced.

Have great memories at this resort. Although it has a long history, it is well maintained. We stayed in both a beach villa and overwater villa, and both were so comfortable that you didn't want to leave. Waking up in the morning and jumping into the sea is unforgettable!!! Other than that, the staff here are helpful and always have a smile on their face. Special thanks go to Niyaaf, who was our Island Host. Upon arrival he was very patient in showing us around the resort and was able to assist us with booking various activities and restaurants. Any questions you may have about the resort can be answered. Niyaaf cares about our situation every day, which makes us feel very warm. If I have the opportunity to come to the Maldives again in the future, I will choose this resort again because the staff took great care of us.
