This was an excellent hotel with superb services. The staff, in particular was very helpful in arranging drives to various interesting sites. The lady called Sophia spoke excellent English which made life easy for foreigners. The only thing I would recommend is that they make an effort to clean the carpets more thoroughly.

I stayed in this old five-star hotel. Although the facilities are a bit retro, the service is really great! As soon as I entered the hotel, I felt a strong warm atmosphere. It's Hilton and I hardly found staff who can speak English. I felt like I was cheated. I paid for 2 big twin bedroom and I got one big and one regular roomsize. As i wanted spacious room, I was willing to pay more, but the duty manager at the time that I checked in said the other room seemed small, because it's a different floor plan. So I told them that I'm an interior designer, so I know what is big and small or even the manager could come and inspect the rooms with me. . After that they allow me to change the room. There're varieties of food for breakfast.

Sure enough, the iron block blocking the road was not removed until check-out. Finally, the concierge of this hotel is useless. It rained on the first day and the car could not go up. They would have given me an umbrella. On the second day, I needed to move something from the car to the room and needed the concierge's cart. There was no one in the concierge department. I asked the front desk and was told that they were not working and would have to wait for ten minutes. I said I didn't need help and just needed to get off the car. They told me that I could push it myself. I pushed the cart to move things. When I came back, the concierge had already started working. I pushed a big cart by myself, and the concierge just watched.
