This was an excellent hotel with superb services. The staff, in particular was very helpful in arranging drives to various interesting sites. The lady called Sophia spoke excellent English which made life easy for foreigners. The only thing I would recommend is that they make an effort to clean the carpets more thoroughly.

I was recommended by a friend and came here for the first time today. It was just as described by my friend, very good! The ethnic girl at the front desk 👧🏻 is very patient❤️, and her smiling service makes people feel comfortable. My friend's phone was out of battery, so she quickly helped to get a charger to charge it. We needed disposable chopsticks🥢, so the little girl gave us her own takeaway chopsticks. The security guard was also very friendly, lifting the barrier in time and directing parking🅿️. There were fruit plates and yogurt in the room which was very thoughtful. Come here again next time!

It was great to stay in this hotel when I came to Urumqi for business. The service attitude of the front desk was very good. When I was resting in the lobby bar, the waiter also enthusiastically poured me a cup of free black tea. It really felt like home. The room was large and super clean. It was very comfortable to stay. The hotel has a parking lot and gave us free parking. It was great [强][强]

Some of the good reviews are from the heart. The smiles at the front desk, the thoughtfulness of the concierge, and the meticulous service of the hotel service team exude the heritage of the Hilton brand. I won't say much about the hardware. The hotel's feature is not the Internet celebrity landmarks and taking photos, but the real diamond service. After staying in so many hotels, the service of Hilton Urumqi is still the best. Absolutely fantastic, it’s obviously pretty tough for foreigners to get around at the moment but the staff helped me with everything that you can imagine. There’s a branch of Harem Bagh for Uygur style food across the street, parking and lots to do nearby. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and was beyond my expectations. Thanks and already booked my next stay.

They accept foreigners and that’s a big plus. Great location, close to bazaar and main square just in front of the hotel. Nice and friendly staff. Hotel is a bit old, but overall good place to stay for 1-2 nights

The hotel is quite satisfactory and meets the standards of the old five-star hotel. The hygiene and breakfast are all good, and the bedding is comfortable. As long as you don't require a modern style, you won't step into the pit. The little beauty at the front desk is also very good. We arrived late, and there were no adjacent rooms for two rooms. Finally, let's talk about the shortcomings. I don't know why the door of the hotel lobby was not allowed to go up. It rained heavily in Urumqi on the day of arrival. After parking, I walked to the lobby in the rain. It was too embarrassing. The key is that there are elderly people. It's unacceptable to get wet in the rain. I also reported this to the front desk lady on the same day and got a timely response. Early the next morning, the front desk handled the extension of stay. The lady said that the lobby manager happened to be there. After reacting, I talked to the lobby manager, but I was very disappointed. This fat male lobby manager was extremely arrogant and rude. He looked down on people and didn't care at all. In the end, I guess he was helpless and said thank you with his back teeth. Sure enough, the iron block blocking the road was not removed until check-out. Finally, the concierge of this hotel is useless. It rained on the first day and the car could not go up. They would have given me an umbrella. On the second day, I needed to move something from the car to the room and needed the concierge's cart. There was no one in the concierge department. I asked the front desk and was told that they were not working and would have to wait for ten minutes. I said I didn't need help and just needed to get off the car. They told me that I could push it myself. I pushed the cart to move things. When I came back, the concierge had already started working. I pushed a big cart by myself, and the concierge just watched. It would have been fine if they didn't help push it, but they didn't even help open the door. Finally, to sum up, the five-star facilities are put up by a makeshift team.

I had a very pleasant time in this hotel. The hotel design style is very unique, the room is full of warm atmosphere, the front desk staff is warm and thoughtful, and they are very patient in answering questions. The room is clean and tidy. I will choose this hotel next time.

Overall the check-in process was smooth and efficient including the tedious task of having to show health QR codes, having pictures taken of passport with China residence visa side by side with phone showing health code, then making copies of visa page, passport page, last China entry stamp page, etc etc. In spite of the time this whole process takes the staff knew what they were supposed to do and went about the process as quickly as possible. A small welcome gift was an unexpected surprise. Special word of thanks to Ms.爱森那赫 at the reception (not sure if this is her actual name). She was the only one who spoke English and was guiding her colleagues to check us in smoothly. She also gave us a good recommendation to try local cuisine for dinner at a restaurant which was a 5 min walk from the hotel. The only confusing bit is the fact that hotel reception is located on the 3rd floor. Our Didi drivers did not know how to get us there as the drive up to the 3rd floor was through a parking lot next to the hotel. The hotel should either post clear instructions on a sign board for taxi/Didi drivers to follow or they should have someone posted at the entrance to guide vehicular traffic up through the parking lot to the lobby for check in. But all in all a pleasant experience and we would not hesitate to stay here again should we plan another trip to the city.
