Economic, clean, good location, and helpful staff. However, be aware of a few things: • You can hear anyone passing by in front of the room — sound insulation need improvement! • There is no elevator, so be prepared if you have heavy luggage.

Good breakfast. Bathroom amenities are not good. Comfort is thin and could be a problem. Location is Ok. Market nearby.

The hotel have NO LIFT and we are given room at third floor. It was surprising that such an important information is missing to mention anyin the booking process. I do not know the process of listing hotels on trip.com but this information certainly should be there. The room was comfortable however there was small opening at the corner of the room thru which noise was coming at night disturbing our sleep. On asking the reception guy said it is purposely kept for some wifi etc, for me the reason doesn't make sense.

When we arrived at the hotel, the price was increased by 50% and we were charged the room fee twice. After checking with Ctrip, they refunded half of it.

I was looking at the boxes for this review and working out what to write. The hotel was ok, nothing amazing, breakfast was decent, decor dated, needed a thorough clean and updating but I was deciding if 3/5 or 4/5 was a better grade until I saw how much we paid. I'm not sure why this one was so expensive but it was double the cost of the hotel we stayed in Ankara that was far nice and the same cost as the one we stayed in Galata. This hotel is not in a convenient neighbourhood, there is nothing decent in walking distance other than Hanimefende coffee which is fabulous. Otherwise the area is next to a dual carriageway and stinks of fish so you need a taxi to get anywhere. Staff at the hotel were lovely though.

The hotel is the usual budget hotel. Cleanliness, decoration, air-condition and comfort in rooms were all good. Breakfast was average. It's 10 minutes walking to downtown Trabzon. The real plus thing that I would encourage anyone to book this hotel for is the helpful staff. Selenay is just amazing. She helped us from the beginning in booking and advised us with better rooms to suit our big number (10 family members). She did a great job organizing our daily trips (3 days in a row - 1st one to Uzungol, 2nd to Zigana / Hamiskoy / Sumela Monastery & the 3rd to Rize). The thing I'm most grateful to her for is that I forgot some valuable stuff in the room and found out after returning to Egypt. She did her best to send me my belongings by mail and it worked out after several trials. I'm very thankful to her.

In terms of facilities, the hotel is average and not at the level of a three-star hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent and the access to the city center is easy. The hotel rooms need renovation. The breakfast of the hotel is very brief and little. In general, according to the price of the hotel and comparing its price with other hotels, the facilities and breakfast of the hotel should be revised or the price of the hotel should be reduced. Because I stayed in 10 different hotels during this 14-day trip and I can easily compare the price and....

Uzer otel, Trabzon is a small but cozy with clean and tastefully furnished room. WiFi speed was fast and strong. Breakfast was delicious with freshly cooked food to complement the spread offered on the counter. Staff in dining hall and front desk, namely Abdul Ghaffar were most helpful and attentive. Hotel is also within walking distance to several interesting meandering backalley, filled with quaint shops offering a wide range of products. Walking upwards along these alleys eventually lead to a boulevard with fashionable and modern upscale shops on both sides. From here, the main Square is within sight. What impressed us most, was the quick thinking and action of two brothers/hotel owner Erdan and his brother Suleiman, when my husband realised his passport was lost(probably during our walk to the Square). After making several phone calls, the brothers were informed that my husband's passport was at the Central police station. Both brothers immediately drove and accompanied my husband to the Central police station. Happy to report that the lost passport was collected from the Central police station within the next half hour due to the quick thinking/action of the brothers and the efficiency of the local police. Most of all, many thanks to the kind hearted soul who sent the lost passport to the police station, at the expense of his/her own time . We will be forever grateful to the two brothers/owners of Uzer hotel for helping to recover my husband's passport. THANK YOU
