The hot spring in the hotel is too small, simple, not beautiful, and lacks toiletries. The environment is hygienic, the staff are friendly, and the meals in the morning and evening are good. I posted dinner and breakfast photos of each.

Kinosaki Onsen is a very comfortable place to relax and enjoy the onsen. This hotel has an excellent location, not far away from the spots in the area and they even provide shuttle service. The rooms are big, public area is amazing too.

Absolutely loved my stay at this ryokan! The traditional Japanese room made for a truly memorable night. Room is very clean and comfortable, and the staff were so warm and accommodating. Amazingly it also included is an all-day pass to the seven public onsens and free shuttle bus (every half an hour from the ryokan). Ryokan is just a short walk from the JR station and Kinosaki itself is such a quaint, charming town, and staying here really completed the experience! Highly recommended!

The experience was great. It is very comfortable and convenient to soak in hot springs. Dinner and breakfast are super rich and delicious. I must recommend it to my friends and family! It is difficult to communicate with the hotel counter staff who speak English. Fortunately, some staff members can speak Mandarin.

The facilities were nice and the price was reasonable, but the front desk staff were terrible. No matter what I asked, there were several staff members who treated me like I was being condescending, which was unpleasant. It ruined my trip.

Maybe this is the culture of hot springs in this area? Unlike Noboribetsu and Hakone, the hotel itself has only one small hot spring pool. If you want to try other hot springs, you have to wear a kimono and soak in other hotel hot springs for free about 1.5 kilometers away, which is a bit troublesome. Breakfast and dinner are both traditional Japanese cuisine.

The hotel is antique and has public hot springs and paid hot springs. There is also a smoking room on the 1st floor.

Except for the price, there is nothing wrong with it. The female waiters are very friendly. There was an older man who seemed a little confusing. Maybe it was because I couldn't understand or speak Japanese. He kept talking to me in a confusing way. Then the towel I was given when I checked out the next day seemed to have been used by someone else. Later I bought one myself at a small shop. The kimono bath was too difficult to wear. I have poor hands-on skills. It's my own fault, not the hotel's. I ate so much at dinner and breakfast that my stomach exploded.
