I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, and they spoke English, which was a relief. While the rooms are a bit on the smaller side, it's an affordable option in a lovely area, so it's understandable. The cleanliness of the hotel is top-notch, which I really appreciated. One of the great perks is that you can borrow various items, including an iron, for free for an hour. There’s also a laundry facility on-site, making it convenient for guests. The location is fantastic—just a 7-minute walk from Kameido JR Station and within 5 to 7 minutes of convenience stores, drugstores, restaurants, and a shopping mall filled with clothing stores. If you decide to buy Tokyo Subway Day Pass, as it is only valid on subway lines (not JR lines), the nearest station is Nishi-Ojima Subway Station about 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Plus, you can rent bicycles right outside the mall! Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations and provided a great stay!

This hotel was probably my favorite budget hotel stay during my time in Japan. It is clean and staff is friendly and helpful. A Lawsons and local grocery store on street level is convenient. It's no frills but the location is perfect for commuting to Ueno, Asakusa, Akhihabara within one or 2 train stops. The location is in a quieter area of Tokyo that is less busy but I found the food around this area better than the touristy spots of Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. The first night we ate pork katsu run by and older couple 3min walk from the hotel bc it was raining and it was so well prepared and cheap. It was one of my most memorable meals. We ate a lot of wagyu and fancy sushi but this place felt like home cooking from your grandparents.

This is our second time staying at the ART Hotel. Our last two days resting up before our flight back home. A free shuttle bus is available to the airport as well as into Narita town for shopping or the train station. We shall use this place again on our next trip to Japan. Thank you.

Friendly staff. Walking distance to sunshine plaza. I booked two rooms (1 for myself, 1 for girlfriend and her mum) The room my gf was in had a weird odor. And upon checking we realized the smell was coming from the aircon which seem to have not been cleaned for a long while. I reported it to the staff, and the following day they contacted someone to clean up the aircon filter. Aside from this unfortunate incident of overlooked cleanliness, the rest of the stay was pleasant.

Located not to far from nippori bus and train station, there is skyliner train from and to Narita airport, walking around there are convenient stores and 24 hours small restaurant, room is clean and provide with refrigerator, microwave and induction stove, no cleaning service during your stay but you can take clean towel and amenities down stairs, easy to check in and just drop your room card to check out, employees could speak proper English, definitely will stay again if one day have a chance to visit Tokyo

If you’re looking for a peaceful, no-fuss place to stay in Tokyo, Hotel MyStays Ueno Iriyaguchi is a solid pick! Check-in and check-out were super smooth, and shoutout to one of the Indonesian staff members who was especially warm and helpful – really made us feel welcome. Toiletries are free-flow at the counter, so just help yourself. There’s also a washing machine and dryer on-site, which was super handy – meant we could pack lighter and plan better. What I loved most was the little in-room kitchenette – complete with an electric stove, cutlery, plates, bowls, pans, dish soap, and even a chopping board and knife! Just request what you need at the counter, and they’ll sort you out. The room is on the smaller side if you’re comparing to hotels outside Japan, but totally normal by Japanese standards, and honestly, it was cozy and well-equipped. Location-wise, it’s near plenty of convenience stores and even a 24-hour supermarket. Plus, the area is peaceful at night, not busy or noisy – perfect for a good rest after a day out. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a quiet, comfortable base in Tokyo. 👍

Stayed here as i flew in too late to get the shuttle bus to Hakuba valley, stayed the night, had the great breakfast then used the shuttle bus to get back to the terminal in order to get the shuttle bus direct to Hakuba. Service staff were wonderful and the location was easy to get to from Haneda.

Pleasant stay throughout my trip. Good accessibility with lift, no worries if you have big luggage(s). Access key is required for upper floors access so I feel safer to travel alone as well and I like that they have ladies-only floor. There’s a lock for luggage storage area below the bed, I guess it actually fits at least a medium sized luggage bag. Shower rooms and toilets are sufficient (I never had to wait during my stay). New towel, pyjamas, toothbrush are provided everyday (but they don’t make up your bed). There’s also coin laundry in some of the floors, 8th floor included. Near to station that connects with Narita airport. There are 3 CVS within 3 minutes walking distance. Sukiya that operates 23 hours a day and McDonald’s is literally 40 steps away from the hostel. The only down part is that it’s not recommended for light sleeper. You may hear people snoring during midnight and check out is at 10am so people would make noise packing at night or in the morning. Their concierge operates 24 hours and they also provide luggage storage service. Would definitely come back again if the price stays within my budget.

Good location, big room with good view. Value for money. The 24h Lawson store is definitely a plus when you rush for time to the airport. Parking is plentiful and only costs 400Y per day but you need to validate the ticket at the front counter before exit. Payment at the gate so make sure you have coins or small notes.

This is a good choice because I can find a convenient store right beside the entrance. I can also find toilets and sofas in common area down there. The room was a little bit smaller than I thought but everything I needed was there.
