I stayed at a single room, which is enough for me at really affordable cost. And its near kuramae station, so it’s easy to get around.

Focus Kuramae is great as always, my first stop for Tokyo by far.

I just stayed at this hostel with my friends from April 10th-15th, and it was a fantastic experience, especially for a short trip. The location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk from Asakusa Station—super convenient when arriving with luggage. The hostel has a big "FOCUS" sign, making it easy to spot, even at night. The staff were all friendly, and they offer free luggage storage. The kitchen had drinking water available, and you can use the kitchen and even store your food in the public fridge—just label your items, which I found really cool. There are plenty of toilets available, clean, and have heated seats! The showers and bathrooms were also kept clean. The bed was comfy, especially for a hostel, but if you have neck or back issues, I’d recommend bringing your own pillow for extra support. Overall, if you're young, traveling, and looking for a great spot in Japan, this place is perfect!

Stayed in the double private room. It was cozy and right next to the shower and bathrooms. Loved the cleanliness and location of this hotel. The lounge area is aesthetic and serves food too. Train station is only a 10 minute walk away.

Exactly as what one expected from a guesthouse type accommodation.

Nice hostel for a few days stay in Tokyo. Only issue was with the ac which was leaking in the room otherwise great stay

I solo traveled to Japan for a month and stayed in this hostel for 2 weeks. Everything looks exactly like the pictures! It's one of the cleanest places ever—they do a thorough cleaning every day, which I really liked. There is a full kitchen, so you can make your own meals, and they provide free condiments for guests to use. Plus, there's free coffee! It's perfect for long stays. Special thanks to the staff members Nao and Ryuya. I had great conversations with both of them and got excellent recommendations for places to visit. The location is amazing, really close to Kuramae Station. If I ever go back to Japan, I will definitely come back here. Thank you!

I stay in the single room. It's perfect for a single traveler. The bed is comfortable. The location is good and convenient to other parts of the city. The neighborhood is cool and there are many small shops to explore. However there are stains on the bed cover, I think it is the strong stain left after wash but does not feel good when you saw it. The sound proof is not good but they provided ear plugs. Not sure why there are staff moving things from storage at 12 midnight and that creates lots of noise.

Clean rooms and amenities, very professional for a hostel and easy to get around Tokyo from the nearby station.

I think this is a good hostel but they screwed me over. It’s clean and the staff are nice but they had a very misleading sign on their door (which I’ve attached). I arrived at the hotel at ten pm (The app said check in ends at 11) and this sign was on the side door (the only door I saw from the direction I was coming from). I think this sign makes it pretty clear you can’t check in. I do not think this sign implies that there’s another entrance that allows you to check in later. So, I contacted trip.com and let them know the problem. Meanwhile, I booked another hotel because it was late. Long story short, the hotel refused to give me a refund. I think this is completely unfair because this sign is very misleading. I wish this hadn’t dampened my experience but it really did.
