It is a lovely location and atmosphere. Wish we could have stayed longer. Best room in Iceland. Food was very good.

Very cozy cabin like room which was clean and tidy. A comfortable stay. But the reception and breakfast area needs to drive. The breakfast is nice and overall nice stay. Would recommend.

The stay was very comfortable, a very cozy cabin, but it was still a long drive from the restaurant. The restaurant is farm to table, the ingredients are good, and you can see the cows in the restaurant

The cabin is an impressive stop on this island tour. We first went to the Myvatn hot springs. It is definitely a niche area with good facilities. It feels great because there are few people. The cabins are very close. The main road is separated from the front desk and the room, so it is very convenient to drive by yourself. Although the room is not big, it has floor heating. It is icy and snowy outside, but the room is warm. Next to the front desk is the restaurant and the cattle farm. Diners can watch cows while eating, and there is a sign "Welcome to visit" at the door of the cowshed. If you don't mind the smell, you can go in and have close contact with the cows. We had dinner at the hotel, and the taste was quite good. The "Icelandic borscht" was rated as the best soup in this round of the island. After dinner, we also drove to the nearby highlands to shoot the only aurora on this trip. The disadvantage of this hotel is that the room is not soundproof, but for the simple cabin structure, this is also an expected and acceptable flaw.
