Splendid Hotel Taormina Reviews

Great experience! Everything was really good. We had a room with terass and a view of the sea. It was stunning. Room was very clean and sheets where changed daily, which was nice when you have two dogs that sneak into bed during the night. Location was great. A short distance walk to the town center with shops and restaurants. The parking service was great. They park the car for you and when you need it they will bring the car in front of the hotel within 15 minutes. It will cost you 20€/ night but it's hassle free. Staff is fantastic. We arrived around 6AM (much earlier than expected), and way too early for the normal check-in time. We were absolutely exhausted after a night of driving and our room wasn't ready. But the staff was kind enough to give us a room to sleep in, and at 11AM we could check-in to our booked room. Free of charge! Breakfast was also great and they do packed breakfast if you leave before breakfast time. The hotel doesn't do laundry, but there is a laundry place 800m away.

Newly renovated hotel with nice pool and view. We are a little disappointed with the room without balcony view. But the breakfast and swimming pool view made up for it. Reception staffs are very nice and helpful.

A wonderful hotel, absolutely clean. Breakfasts are great! Everything is very tasty, there are cheeses, sausages, vegetables, hot dishes, fruits, and desserts are just unreal - panna cotta, cheesecakes, etc. They upgraded the room from standard to superior with a sea view in honor of my birthday. Helpful and customer-oriented staff. 2 minutes to the main street of Taormina. The only downside was that on my birthday no one could iron my dress, in the end they brought an iron to the room, but I had to complain about the lack of proper service on a weekend.

We booked a balcony sea view room, but after entering the room, we found that it was a room facing the atrium without a balcony. The hotel said that it showed this room type, but they still changed it to a sea view room for me. The service attitude was very good. In addition, the breakfast here was the most abundant during this two-week trip to Italy.

The location is very close to Taormina Square, so it's easy to access! There was always someone at the reception, so it was convenient to ask about buses, etc. However, the room was smaller than I thought, but it was less stuffy because there was a balcony~ I can't forget the ramen I ate on the balconyㅜㅡㅜㅎㅎㅎ + Oh, there was no coffee pot, so I went to the bar next to the reception and poured some hot water for them!

The room condition was good and clean! The ocean view was better than expected, so I enjoyed it every morning. Breakfast was also delicious👍👍 I 100% recommend visiting again next time!

Just because you didn’t book a sea view room doesn’t mean you can’t have a window. It was very humid and stuffy, and the air conditioner didn't work. Parking is not free.

In Taormina, it is recommended to live in the mountains, it is great to eat and walk around

The scenery is good, the environment is good, the hotel looks very new, the lady at the front desk is beautiful and enthusiastic, always smiling and talking. There is also a swimming pool. Parking is a bit far away, but drive around the road, park the car and walk up the steps to the hotel. 17 euros per day. breakfast is also good
