Breakfast was good, Room spotless, staff especially Perleta.

Everything was awful. The kitchen was closed so nowhere nearby to have an evening meal or breakfast. The room was sweltering hot and even with the fan reception gave us, it was too uncomfortably hot to sleep The service was poor and asking for extra pillows was like pulling teeth. The reception staff seemed clueless and unable to understand the simplest of questions without repetition.

The staff and the service: totally incredible. The food was average at best, and there weren't many amenities, but it was located very close to 2 train lines which was extremely convenient. If you aren't planning to spend much time in your room, it's a great staging area for heading into London, going to and from the airport, or getting anywhere you need to. Priced right, especially for what you're getting. I would recommend it to friends and I would stay there again myself.

I have never been so annoyed with a company. Travel Lodge is the worst firm for service I have ever experienced. We were attending a wedding on Saturday 21st May and booked and paid for a room on 26th January ( 4 months in advance) , Arrived at 2pm to check in and get changed ready for the wedding, only to be told the room wasn't ready,we didn't make a fuss as some friends had a room and allowed us to use it. When we returned at 1.30am after having a wonderful time at the wedding we were told they didn't have a room, we explained what had happened earlier and the person at reception kept repeating the hotel was full, and the only help he could give was to call another Travel Lodge to see if they had any rooms available, after about 30 minutes he got us a room in a hotel 20 minutes away, by now it is well passed 2am. The next discussion was getting from one hotel to the other, I really think he thought we were going to either jump into the car or were going to order a cab, we insisted he sorted a cab out and book a return cab the following morning so we could collect our car ( parked in the car park) We arrived at the replacement hotel around 2.30am, after a few hours sleep we went to reception to in sure the return cab was still arriving at 9.15am, but there was no one to ask, fortunately a member of staff walk passed who made some calls and advised that no cab had been booked, after some time a cab was booked and we eventually returned to the originally hotel to collect our car This should have been a memorable event ( the Wedding) but turned into a nightmare caused by Travel Lodge We will NEVER be using Travel Lodge again

The room is simple but tidy. I stay here every time I come to pick up my kids from school. The train station and bus station are just 2-3 minutes away, which is very convenient! I will definitely come again next time!

Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom although clean was a little dated. All you can eat breakfast was good value.

Visiting familyin the uk once a year we stayed at this travelodge before and it was ok but now it very good rooms are clean breakfast is good and staff are more helpful breakfast is ok we like it here because easy for the train and merto and still within reach of the south coast

Valentine's Day getaway not the moat romantic place but was playing golf in the area. Jess was friendly and noticed my wife flower room was very clean and nice bedding. Car park was cheap got a pizza to the the room and drinka breakfast the next day was busy but staff was helpful and good food before we set out for the day

recently stayed at the Caterham Travelodge and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and provided everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with any requests.

I had a great experience at Caterham Travelodge, especially during breakfast, thanks to Louis and Pearl. They were both incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was fresh, well-stocked, and served with a smile, creating a great start to the day.

The last time I stayed (2years ago) I paid for a late check out, only to be hounded in my room at 12pm saying I had to leave - eventually they accepted I was correct and they were wrong. I have not stayed since as I was left feeling uncomfortable over this. 2 years on and I decided to give it another chance and sadly I’m unimpressed once again. This time they gave another guest the key to my room and they entered the bedroom at 1am while I was in bed - this was an extremely distressing situation for a female staying alone. No one seemed to know how it had happened or want to take responsibility. The manager gave me a refund, but as I explained, this wasn’t about the money, but about safety. He said he would look into it, but seemed keen to move me on and out of the way of other guests in earshot.

Staying in the hotel for a wedding in the golf club it clean staff are friendly and car park is cheap it was 10 mins from the wedding staff was helpful in booking taxis we have breakfast the next day we did not plan it good buffet with the rest of the wedding party also bar was 24 hour and pizza great for a return after a big night out

I’ve stayed at Travelodge Caterham Whyteleafe twice now, once in January and again recently, and both times have been great. The hotel is well-located, with easy access to transport links, making it a convenient choice for my stays. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have everything you need for a budget-friendly stay

Such a lovely hotel from check in to check out the staff were so helpful. The place was spotless and the rooms were big. Had some dinner and breakfast during our stay and could not fault any of it. The beds were comfortable and great shower. It was an ideal location for our stay. I would recommend the Whyteleaf Cafe for breakfast/lunch as we had both here and highly recommend it . Train station is directly across from the hotel and numerous bus stops nearby.
