Good location if one likes to be close to a night market. Another good point is the washing machine in the room. The WiFi in the hotel is not working well, very unstable and disappears every 10 minutes, not quite handy when one is doing some work for the next day. When asking the staff whether something can be done in order to improve the WiFi, two ladies appeared who will tell you that you are very handsome and will explain how the television can be switched on. Unfortunately this did not have an effect on the stability of the WiFi 🙃

I booked a special single room without windows. The hotel lobby manager Wang Qian's service is really great! When I checked in, the hotel upgraded my room type. The hotel also provided free millet porridge and gave me breakfast for the next day☺️. I felt flattered. They sent me all the way to the room. They also kindly reminded me when the weather was bad. They recommended me all the fun things in Taiyuan. The first time I came to Taiyuan, I was full of good feelings about this city! Although the style is a bit nostalgic, it still feels good. Because there are three of us, we booked this twin room with a 1.5m bed. It is quite spacious. On the east side of Sanqiao Street Road, opposite the Sanqiao Convenient Market. The whole Sanqiao Street is full of restaurants and snacks. There is a large set on Chengfang Street in the north and Metro Line 2 in the east. The hotel is a fast hotel style, a large room, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the washstand is separate. Close to the food street, one side may be a bit noisy, the other side is a residential area, very quiet. The whole house is small voice can be controlled, and the facilities are not luxurious.

It’s only two stops away from Taiyuan’s central pedestrian street, which is not too far. The soundproofing is a bit poor. The room next door was very noisy. I called the front desk and it was resolved quickly. Thumbs up, overall recommended!

TTarraleahExcellent location directly across the road from Maoye Plaza which is one of Taiyuan’s best shopping and dining destinations. The location means there’s a bit of traffic noise, and my room also had a bit of noise from the restaurant kitchen which was straight above, but it was all tolerable, especially for the convenience of the location. The room was very comfortable well-equipped, but cleanliness was a little down on what it should have been. Reception staff were most friendly and helpful, very quickly and happily helping when I had difficulty connecting to wifi. The breakfast was very good, with a healthy and tasty range of Chinese vegetable and meat dishes, salads, fruits, and more. I would very happily stay here again!

I felt that the hotel environment was beautiful, the front desk customer service staff was warm and thoughtful, the room was clean and sanitary, four bottles of mineral water were delivered every day, and the toiletries were quite exquisite. It really felt like home. So on the basis of the original two-day reservation, I renewed it for another day. By the way! The hotel is very close to Taiyuan Railway Station (not Taiyuan High-speed Railway Station), and the transportation is very convenient. Next time I come to Taiyuan, I will stay at Jinlin Oriental Hotel again.

MMandy_HIn the pedestrian street, the location is equivalent to Jianghan Road in Wuhan. Rooms on the roadside will be a little noisy. It will be quieter after 11:30 pm. It is recommended that the hotel provide earplugs.
