The clean is clean and tidy. Well equipped for everything inside the room. Location is perfect just next to metro station which is surrounded by many restaurants and shops that you won’t be bored. Just the staffs are too procedural and inflexible to special requests.

Room is spacious, almost no toiletries provided except one shampoo for all, and hand wash. Booked this hotel because of the baby cots availability but during our check in they mentioned that it was not available (both rooms), and stated that the hotel was full of guests and such. I made the reservation months ago and clearly requested for cots. The cleaning wasn’t properly done, the stain on floor can still be seen after days until we checked out. Nevertheless the hotel location is great, close to shopping areas, tourist spots, combini, and eateries, and MRT - all walking distances If you are sensitive to dust, suggest to avoid this hotel as their room is covered with carpet.

Nice stay, very cozy stay with nice breakfast provided, very convenient with MRT and shopping malls nearby.

We've stayed at Green World ZhongXiao Hotel every time we've visited Taipei, primarily because of its prime location – just a minute's walk from the subway and surrounded by a variety of eateries, cafes, and shops. While the location has always been excellent, the service has consistently been disappointing. However, our most recent stay in April was particularly frustrating. While the service remained subpar, the hotel took things a step further by removing all amenities. To make matters worse, they posted a misleading notice claiming that this change was part of their commitment to government initiatives for a sustainable future. While we understand the importance of sustainability, it didn’t excuse the rude and unhelpful behavior we encountered when asking for something as simple as a shower cap—especially since it was clearly stated that we could request one if needed. What was even more frustrating was that the need to bring your own amenities was never communicated to guests prior to booking nor displayed on their website. Additionally, room cleaning was not provided unless specifically requested. This sentiment was echoed by both locals and foreigners. I believe the hotel has room for significant improvement in service standards and better communication to ensure a more pleasant experience for guests.

This is an old hotel with basic facility, located along main road in the City. The room we had was not as pleasant due to following; 1.The rug is old, can see water stain. 2. Some part of room is dusty, especially behind the TV and near the wall on the bed side. 3. Old material not replaced, such as old tissue box and window curtain which are already show broken signs. 4. Stain on shower area tile and bath tub. 5. There is no door latch. The room can feel dusty. However after requesting for room cleaning service it feels quite better. The bed is slightly hard and pillow is not as cushy/ feels thin, while the bed sheets is not as thick. The sound insulation is not as great, as we can still hear noise from outside the room (can hear people talking outside/ in front of room) and by the window (can hear loud motorcycle noise). Also at night, there some noise coming from outside the room, which I think come from air circulation machine placed at hallway. Breakfast has quite number of options but quality not so much. There is self laundry, which requires laundry powder (can be purchased from reception at NTD 30). Location wise is quite good, as it is located at major street with major shops while MRT station and bust stops are nearby. Would not recommend the hotel.

Location is very convenient, 3 minutes walk to MRT. Walking distance to Uniqlo, Daiso, Carrefore and Minimart. Many eateries around the Hotel. A famous dessert is nearby. Definitely will come back again.

Super near to ZhongXiao Dunhua exit, but needs to turn in from main road to see the entrance. Entrance is hidden from main road. Small hotel lobby, big comfortable room with huge bathroom. Bed is super king, can fit 4 persons. 2 big and 2 small. Comes with bathtub. Price is reasonable. Breakfast is delicious, worth it. The staff really puts in efforts to make breakfast enjoyable, with small plants on the tables every day. Can try again for next stay.

Good value for money! Relatively close to MRT Zhongxiao Dunhua, literally 3 minutes walk away. Hotel was relatively small but well equipped enough with washing machine and dryer that is coin operated. Meanwhile breakfast is decent with typical choice available. Room itself is decent sized but ventilation can be improved. Hygiene is acceptable.

The hotel is great and big, the staff are very nice and friendly.

We checked out early. Asked the personnel in the restaurant if we can take at least egg and bread since we cannot eat on the resto due to early check out. He allowed us. But another personnel (the old lady) followed us and reported us to the reception. They said we cannot take out. We know that there is a signof "NO TAKE OUT" in the restaurant . But at least they should give consideration to their patron who has early check out. Besides, the breakfast is part of our payment. Worst feelung is like treating you like a thief despite that we were permitted by one personnel to take out an egg and bread.

Great stay, but could have done better cleaning job under beds. Also some issue with airconditioning which had been freezing no matter the temperature

Excellent location, less than 1 minute walk from MRT station and lots of shopping malls and good food around. The staff was very helpful and they tried very best to meet our asks. The room is very clean and spacious.

Super convenient! Big room. Close to many great restaurants

When I was booking this hotel, I saw on their website that the Green World group of hotels are halal-certified/muslim-friendly (news from a few years back). Turns out they were no longer as above based on the cert I saw in the hotel lobby (expired 2022). All the hotel staff are friendly and approachable 💯 Location is good too, it's right by the metro, malls/restaurants/convenience stores are nearby. Buffet breakfast was fine too (not a lot of options if you're looking for halal, otherwise you're good to go). However, the room we stayed in was really moldy, especially the walls and curtains. And for that, unless they've fixed it, I won't be recommending Green World Zhongxiao.
