Hualien Hotels with Pools

Breathtaking views of the Pacific from every room and commanding view of Hualien from the lobby. The newly renovated lobby is stunning - we didn’t believe the lobby photos until we actually saw it in person. This resort is a real gem of Hualien and of ********* fengshui in general. The food quality was unexpectedly good, and I prefer the hotel’s twist on simple ********* favorites vs. their western style food. The only annoying thing is that you have to buy a swimming cap to use the pool, but the kids had a blast at the pool and taking in views from the hot tub.

I think it’s good because it’s clean and fun. There are many recreational facilities and are suitable for family travel. When I signed up for the hotel's local itinerary, the tour guide explained it in detail. This allows us to have an in-depth understanding of the human, historical and geographical environment of local attractions, Rather than just looking at things.

Although the space in the camper is limited, it is well-equipped and soundproofed, and the sound of wind and waves can be isolated. There are tables and chairs outside the camper, creating the feeling of a small courtyard. It is very relaxing and comfortable to chat, eat and drink here, and there is an incomparable sea view. Even if you don't go anywhere, it is worth spending the whole day.

Google navigation seat is wrong, it is recommended to be more accurate, the first time I thought it was behind the temple, the result was a factory, You have to drive a little further ahead to see the signboard. The environment is very good. The four-person room is also larger than expected. There is also a balcony. It is not bad to see the big pool view downstairs, but the wild dog barking at the window factory at night is really all night. The ducks are also loud in the morning. They should be raised in the rear factory. Although there are earplugs, they can still hear them. It is not recommended that people who sleep lightly sleep by the window. Overall, it is OK, and the price is high.

Good service provided by the hotel. This hotel also have activity center for kids and adult with multiple types of activity such as go-kart, VR, rock climbing and etc. Very nice pool as well.

The last time I came to Hualien was with family years ago, back then the hotels we stayed at were dated and very local. Many years has passed and its nice to see Hualien finally has its first international branded hotel. For me the qualities that define a good hotel are in the details; rooms having double sinks, quality of bedsheets and pillows, gym having brand new Technogym...all exceeded expectations, not to mention the beautiful design of the hotel and artwork in the lobby. Apparently there is onsen as well, which is currently under repairs from earthquake. The staff we encountered were all super friendly and professional, we had a set dinner at the Chinese restaurant and everything was delicious. There weren't many tourists this time around so it was pretty quiet, hope to come back again soon when onsen is open!

1. When booking on Ctrip, I deliberately chose a deluxe suite that was more expensive than an ordinary sea view room, but was told at the front desk that it was not a sea view room. Surprised, I looked carefully and found that there was a ”Deluxe Ocean View Suite” at the bottom of the page that was automatically hidden. All in all, the name ”Qinhai Pavilion”, the order of room types recommended by Ctrip, and the similarity between the large blue sky and the sea in the sample pictures are easily misleading. It is hoped that hotels and platforms will add a ”non-sea view” label, and travelers should pay more attention to the details in the promotion. 2. The hotel pursues an environmental protection policy, so towels and slippers are naturally not satisfactory. Other hardware is relatively new, there is no bottled water but there is a minibar (the specialty lemonade and tea are good). The breakfast is rich and has certain characteristics, but the space is a bit cramped when there are many people 3. Although it is only a small point, I still want to mention it: the hotel does not have a concierge service to deliver luggage to the room. As a newly opened hotel, this one is not as humane as many old hotels in Kaohsiung, Taipei. Of course, travelers can carry their luggage for a long journey, but being able to easily walk into the room empty-handed is a comfort during the journey.

Service was courteous at the front desk. They were very kind to give me a room before 3pm knowing that I had traveled more than 17 hours and really need to rest. Restaurant service was very slow. They were short of staff. No one was around to take my bill. Food was average. Really liked their cold dish with lotus root and red bean. Dinner buffet was very pricey. Couldn’t quite justify $30 per person. I was disappointed when I went back for the breakfast buffet. They served the same cold dishes and fruits from the previous night. Felt like we were eating leftovers. I picked this hotel because of their outdoor pool. It’s an outdoor 25 meter pool. It was lovely swimming laps and enjoyed the ocean view.

A well-equipped resort hotel with large rooms and different pillows to choose from. The breakfast is also delicious. The most important thing is that the breakfast time is until 12:00~~ Super friendly to slow lazy people like us😌

You can smell the carefully prepared aroma of essential oils from the car connected to the hotel, the taxi booked for booking, in the room, in the SPA area, and in the corridors of each floor. It calms down the mood when you are about to enter the hotel. It is great. Experience! The additional purchase arrangement for the birthday girl is also very surprising! They are all decorated with reusable candles, ribbon towels and fresh flower petals, which fits the hotel's concept very well! The high standard and privacy of the SPA area are very appreciated! The masseurs are also very professional and their massage techniques are very special. They focus on relaxation and stress relief, which will make you fall asleep peacefully. The meals provided by the hotel are also very suitable to my appetite. They are very healthy and delicious. There are not too many big fish and meat, but they are all local ingredients cooked with care! When I go to Hualien in the future, I will want to stay at Huayuemeidi again!
