Perfect
TTulang2005What satisfied me most about this trip to Yangliuqing Ancient Town was staying in this blue brick courtyard B&B. As soon as I stepped in, the antique atmosphere hit me in the face. The blue bricks and black tiles, carved doors and windows, are full of historical charm, which immediately brought me back to the old times.
There are surprises hidden everywhere inside the room. The bed is soft and comfortable, and the bedding is clean and tidy, allowing me to have a good sleep after a busy day. The interior decoration is simple yet elegant, with a perfect blend of traditional and modern elements. It is fully equipped with air conditioning, smart bathroom and other facilities, allowing guests to enjoy the quaint atmosphere while maintaining the convenience of life.
The public area of the homestay is also very cozy. There are tables and chairs in the courtyard of the quadrangle. In your spare time, you can bask in the sun, drink tea, and feel the peacefulness of time. The boss was very hospitable. He not only helped plan the itinerary, but also shared many local specialties. Every moment in this homestay is extremely comfortable. It is highly recommended to friends who come to Yangliuqing Ancient Town. It will add a different kind of warmth and beauty to your journey.
GGuest UserEnjoyed our two night stay. The hotel staff is beyond amazing. Very kind and welcoming. Check in was smooth and fast , the staff is very kind, fast and helpful in answering any questions and addressing any issues.
On second day, had an emergency travel to Beijing, Ms Pang Ping and Wang helped organize transport to airport to get subway to Beijing, she kept checking in to see where we had reached on our return back and organized for a car to pick us up since we arrived late at night. She handed us over to the evening staff smoothly to help us with the late night arrival back to the hotel. Mr Wang our driver to the airport spoke English and was helpful in giving us directions to the subway and train station.
The driver, Mr. Chen, very kind man, was already at the airport by the time we arrived to pick us up.
When we got to the hotel, he helped to get a refreshment from the hotel restaurant.
We had an early morning flight and Ms Song Jia and Ms Wang Qian were very kind to give us a wake up call at 4:30am, organize for us a car to the airport and helped me us with our luggage .
The hotel stay overall was comfortable and nice. Slept in the business double room. The rooms are spacious, very clean and are cleaned daily. There’s a self service laundry room at the hotel.
Excellent service and staff.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Excellent facilities and totally worth the stay. Recommended for travelers who want a quiet night stay and also close hotel to the airport 🥰😘

AAnonymous UserWe chose this hotel for our self-driving trip to Tianjin mainly because it has parking, and there are even EV charging stations in the lot, which is a huge plus for electric car owners – no need to worry about finding an external charging spot!
The breakfast was pretty good too. The lady collecting tickets was very enthusiastic, and the coffee from the automatic machine was decent. They even had freshly made *jianbing* (savory crepes). For the price point, I think the breakfast quality was quite good. The only slight drawback was the *baozi* (steamed buns) – they tasted like pre-made ones with thick wrappers. It would have been great if they were authentic Tianjin *baozi*, but considering the price, it's generally fine.
The two young ladies at the front desk were also very warm and had excellent attitudes.
The lobby is bright and offers complimentary snacks and tea.
The room cleanliness was pretty good, though there was a bit too much dust on the glass lamps beside the bed. Otherwise, it was all good.

GGuest UserThe room was great, spacious and bright, though the cleanliness could be a bit better. The hotel breakfast was just okay for 39 per person, and kids eat free. The 'gaba cai' (a local dish) tasted like leftovers from the fridge that weren't properly sealed, giving it a distinct refrigerator smell. The soup dumplings were cold, but my child doesn't like them too hot anyway, so I didn't fuss. The congee was too watery. The front desk staff were very helpful. The parking wasn't super convenient, but it was free, which is a plus. If you're not too picky about your accommodation, this place is worth considering. I'd choose it again next time.

Very Good
FFinn_wchmFor this cheap price, we had a great stay!
My friends and I stayed here for a short trip to Binhai while looking for a cheap but still decent hotel.
At just 11€ per person including breakfast, our expectations were not very high — which made the experience even more surprising.
Location
The location is quite convenient: about a 10-minute drive from Tanggu Station and 15 minutes from Binhai Station. To the famous Binhai Library it takes around 10 minutes by car.
There is also a McDonald’s and several convenience stores nearby.
Check-in & Service
Check-in was smooth. We received all necessary amenities such as a toothbrush, comb and razor. The receptionist was very helpful and made sure our two rooms were on the same floor.
Rooms & Facilities
The rooms were modern, clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom had everything you would expect.
Although smoking is permitted inside the rooms, there was almost no smell at all, which didn’t bother us.
A fun extra: food orders were delivered directly to our room by a small robot.
Breakfast
Breakfast was very Chinese. There was a selection of baozi, vegetables, fruits, and some pre-packaged bread. The variety and ambience match the low price, so don’t expect many choices.
Points to Criticize
There are only two minor downsides:
• During booking, a city view was promised, but we got a small window facing a narrow atrium. This might be because we requested two rooms on the same floor.
• The room temperature felt a bit too warm. When we left the room, the AC also stopped working.
Overall
All in all, we would definitely stay here again. This hotel offers good value for money and is highly recommended for budget travelers or short stays in Binhai.
YYangzhuoSo many things in the room were broken. The sheer curtain was broken and couldn't be pulled up; the showerhead in the bathroom couldn't be fixed in place; the shower gel dispenser was broken and wouldn't pump; the water seal strip on the shower door was broken, causing water to splash out when showering; a washer was missing from under the toilet seat, making it feel unbalanced after a while; there was no fridge in the room; dust was clearly visible on the tabletop and other surfaces. The staff in the surveillance room on the first floor were smoking freely without any regard. The elevator on the north side didn't require a key card to go up to a floor directly. Anyway, I guess this place is pretty basic, and for this price, what do you expect? You'll even see guests going to breakfast on the first floor in their pajamas, and wearing hotel slippers outside. Oh well, it is what it is, isn't the overall environment like this everywhere?

GGuest UserService: Excellent. The owner and staff were very attentive and welcoming. Free breakfast was provided, and the paid food was reasonably priced. The Jiangxi stir-fry was delicious and reasonably priced.
Environment: Okay. The lobby is quite spacious, and the building's paint color is refreshing.
Facilities: So-so. The room soundproofing was a bit poor, but thankfully the neighbors weren't noisy. Hair dryers aren't available in every room; you have to borrow one from the front desk. Bathroom drainage was average, rather slow.
Cleanliness: The bed in the room was clean enough, and the bedding smelled okay. The bathroom was less clean. The area under the bed was particularly dirty, with a lot of clutter left behind (I usually never check under the bed, but I thought I'd lost my keys and searched for a long time 😥).
GGuest UserI didn't take any pictures because the rooms were different. I booked a total of three rooms across two reservations, so this review will be similar to the other one.
However, this was the most satisfying hotel I stayed at in Tianjin during the May Day holiday.
First, when I called the front desk in advance to discuss my room preferences, the staff member was incredibly warm and polite. They didn't show any impatience because I was from out of town and had specific requests. Instead, they thoughtfully asked about the number of people traveling, their ages, and our room needs, and offered suggestions. This was the primary reason I decided to stay here.
Second, the hotel's location is convenient. It's very close to Dagu Bridge, Jiefang Bridge, and the Century Clock, making getting around easy. The Haihe River is right downstairs, which is very pleasant.
Third, the hotel rooms are clean and tidy, with no strange odors. The furniture is standard but doesn't look old, and there's no drain smell in the bathroom. I stayed on the 15th floor, near the end of the corridor.
From my personal perspective and that of my family, there are no downsides; it was excellent.

YyouchuyinhangErhai B&B exceeded expectations. I went to Aranya in July and had a relatively high standard. But when I came to Erhai B&B in Tianjin Dongjiang in September, I felt that it was even better and the cost performance exceeded expectations. The sea in Tianjin Binhai New Area is a shallow sea with gentle waves, but the artificial beach is very clean. Because Dongjiang is charged, there are relatively few people, and the overall feeling is more like a holiday atmosphere and a comfortable slow pace. The decoration style of Erhai B&B is very warm, the sea view room has a very beautiful view, and the room with a balcony or terrace is very suitable for watching the sunrise. I didn’t see the sunrise in Aranya, but I realized it in Tianjin Dongjiang, which made up for the regret. The feeling of looking up and seeing the sea and sunrise can really be realized in Erhai B&B. The dishes here are also very delicious. It is said that a national-level chef was invited at a high price. A simple vegetable dish is accurately controlled in terms of heat, chewy, tasty and fragrant, with moderate saltiness. All seafood is selected and bought by the boss at the seafood market. The ingredients are fresh. Although the dishes are not particularly rich, every dish is classic.
