Amazing
GGuest UserThis hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the old town. The building itself, according to the hotel's description, dates back to the 16th century. It's truly a unique experience to stay in such a historically rich setting while enjoying modern minimalist decor, especially given its superb location in the old town's core. What particularly stood out was the hotel's pool, which directly overlooks Porto Cathedral – an absolutely unforgettable sight.
TTravelang88Hotel is centrally located near to Sao Bento station and can walk to most attractions like the clerigos and cathedral. There are also several food options available. The only downside is there’s not much amenities. The gym is pretty small and no swimming pool
GGuest UserImpeccable service and the staff is intelligent and beyond professional. I’d say they were my favorite part of the stay. I loved the design and luxurious feel of the hotel, as well. The rooms are on the small side in Portugal but this hotel is of high quality and extremely clean. The sauna, steam room, and are pool are incredibly beautiful. Great location. Wonderful breakfast. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was always quiet. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends. I’d love to know who developed the hotel. One thing that I wish I had been told is that there was a rooftop. No one mentioned this at check-in and I just saw it in another post on Google.
GGuest UserThe price was great and ofcourse the room is spacious. The location is not so good if ur looking for site seeing. Takes like 15 minutes uber to get to center.
I am not sure how and why but i soaked in bath tub and then got rashes on my leg and hands.
So careful with the bath tub.
GGuest UserThe hotel had great service, including hotel information at the front desk! The breakfast area overlooks the city of Porto and has a great view. This is not limited to this hotel in Portugal, but there are no slippers or toothbrushes in the room, so you need to bring your own. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay in an upgraded room.
GGuest UserThe hotel is close to the airport, 15 minutes' drive away, which is convenient for overnight stays and early flights. For seafood lovers, there is a restaurant 10 minutes' drive from the hotel. The food is very good, but a little expensive, but delicious!
ZZaherWe had a wonderful stay at Eurostars Aliados in Porto. While advertised as a 5-star hotel, it feels more like a high-end 4-star, mainly because it lacks some of the extra touches of luxury and service you’d expect from a top-tier 5-star experience. That said, it still offers great value for money and an excellent stay.
One of the hotel’s strongest points is its location—right in the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Despite being so central, the room was quiet and well-insulated, allowing for a great night’s sleep.
Check-in was smooth and efficient, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel welcome right away. Throughout our stay, the staff remained courteous and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience.
Our room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, featuring a king-sized bed, elegant decor, and a huge shower that added a touch of indulgence. Everything was spotlessly clean, which is always a priority when choosing a hotel.
The hotel has a spa with a gym, sauna, and hammam, free for guests. While we didn’t have time to use them, they looked modern, well-maintained, and inviting, adding to the hotel’s appeal.
Overall, Eurostars Aliados delivers a stylish and comfortable stay at a reasonable price. While it may not quite reach the level of a true 5-star experience, it’s an excellent option for those looking for a high-quality hotel in the center of Porto. We would definitely stay here again!
GGuest UserThe staff is always friendly and willing to help, top grades to them! The location has plus and minus. Unless your in one of the cabs that has special permission to enter Flores street, you are going to have to haul bags from a fair distance. Once there, it’s close to many cool things by foot. The rooms are a bit dated, but hey, it’s a 500 year old building! Highly recommend visiting the garden!
QQiangweihuakai63Location: By the Douro River, but a little far from the tourist area. There is a tram track at the door, but there is no station. You can hear the tram passing by in the morning, so it is best to wear earplugs when sleeping.
Room type: There is a double bed on the first floor, and a sofa upstairs that can be used as a bed. We basically didn't use the upstairs when we traveled, which was a bit wasteful.
Two glasses of Porto wine and some candied fruit were given when we checked in on the first night. It was the only four-star hotel that gave away snacks during this trip. There is a terrace on the roof, and you can see the night view of the lights on the opposite bank at night.
There are not many guides for Porto that can be found in China, so I took a taxi from the hotel to take the No. 18 tram to take medicine. The direction is completely opposite. It is recommended to ask the front desk for the itinerary plan on the day of check-in.
