Spa Hotels in Krakow

Overall this hotel is excellent! The staff are friendly and very customer focused. The concierge service is equally excellent and I want acknowledge Johnny. He defines what it means to be a concierge. Everything from restaurant suggestions to handling airport transfers was top notch. Over the course of a week, he never gave us a bad recommendation. He also setup tours for us to take as well! The room (privilege with a full bed) was equally as large as rooms in the US, which was unexpected for Europe. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom/shower was equally large and comfortable. A couple of small dings where noticed in the cabinet finishes but that was the only sign of wear and tear in the room. This was our first time in Krakow and the hotel made it a perfect stay! Centrally located in the heart of the city, it is only a 5 minute walk to the Main Square and dining/ attractions. It is also across the street from a mall if you need any last minute purchases. If you are traveling to Poland this hotel is a must!.

Excellent hotel, the room was beautiful and very clean, I particularly liked the lighting, not too bright and added something extra to the ‘jazzy’ atmosphere. The spa in the basement is amazing, had the entire spa all for myself for hours. Breakfast was good, staff was very friendly and the location of the hotel is ideal for discovering the beautiful city of Krakow ! Will be back for sure !

Our group checked into this hotel on a Friday night and we were asked to put all our hand carries, luggages, personal items through an xray because they had visiting dignitaries. I understand the procedure and we are willing to cooperate but what disappointed us was that even if the porter was available, nobody helped us lift our luggages to the conveyors and bring it down after the checks. We were asked to open our heavy luggages for them to check empty water canisters, loose coins, etc. One of my companions was even asked to drink the water to make sure it was ok. We were never subjected to this even in airports and all without assistance from the hotel staff. After long check which took us at least 20 minutes, we asked one of the porters to help with the bags to the room and the porter rudely said some of the bags didn’t have name tags so he can’t identify them. I heard our guide say he will assist with identification but the porter still complained. First time I experienced this in a five star hotel. What a disappointment for the Marriot group. The rooms we got were very nice. Location is good but the bad customer service ruined the stay for us.

My children, who often accompany me, absolutely adore the spa area. The indoor pool is their favourite spot, and it’s wonderful to see them so happy and entertained during our stays. The cleanliness of the rooms deserves a special mention. Maintaining such high standards is no small feat, and your housekeeping staff does an exemplary job. This time, my visit was for a special occasion, and the thoughtful upgrade along with personal greetings from your new manager, Ms Anita S., made it all the more memorable. We recently stopped at the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow for a three-day city break. Let’s talk about the positives first… The hotel is in a great location, it is not too far from the city centre but is on the outskirts, a few minutes’ walk from a large green recreational ground which was lovely. A Bolt (Somewhat a European version of Uber) was almost instantly available at the hotel, and we never waited more than four minutes. A Bolt cab into the city was approximately £2.50 which was great too. The hotel is clearly very new, and this shows with its modern design and use of LED ***** lights which look amazing at night-time. The reception area is modern, has free coffee machines (for use between 1000 hours and 1600 hours) and has a bar within, which again, is very nice. The spa was lovely and is included within the price of the room. We visited at approximately 0900 hours, and it was very quiet which was nice, at one point, we were the only people within the spa. Though, don’t allow looks to deceive you. There were some annoyances with the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow, and I think it is important to raise them. Firstly, the hotel is next to a building site, which is not evident from the pictures of the hotel’s website or online listings. We paid for an upgraded room with a balcony so you can imagine the disappointment when we learnt it was overlooking a very loud and dusty building site – so much so that the balcony was unusable. Secondly, the AC. (Not the name, the air conditioning!). This hotel uses the AC controls which link in with the windows and doors to prevent loss of energy, which is all well and good when it works. Ours seemed to glitch out constantly and as such locked the AC in the off position. We rung reception after spending a few hours in unbearable heat to be told that there was nobody who could help in the evenings and that they’d send someone in the morning. Fine, so we went to bed only to be woken by someone an hour later who said that they had come to look at the AC. We got up whilst the lady, what can only be described as “faffed” with the AC and then shrugged her shoulders and left – without resolving the issue. Now, if we could have opened the window, or the balcony door, to solve the issue then it wouldn’t have been as much as a big deal, yet it was a trade off between unbearable heat or construction site noise and dust. Another annoyance is when we ordered room service. We telephoned down to the bar and asked if they sold “Sauvignon Blanc”. We were told that they did and that it was however much. I asked for two bottles, and they said that they’d send someone up with it. 45-minutes later, the first waitress arrived with a trolley, an ice bucket, two wine glasses and two bottles of Chardonnay. We explained that we had ordered Sauvignon Blanc and that we would be grateful if she wouldn’t mind swapping it for the correct wine. The Vienna House by Wyndham Andel's Cracow is in an excellent location, close to the station. The hotel service staff are very kind and will be my first choice next time I visit:)

On plus: nice and helpful service, delicious diverse breakfasts, fitness zone and a chamber but not crowded pool, nice leap after evening walks, saunas and jacuzzi wonderful. The hotel is about 2.4 km walk away from the market, on beautiful days a great option for a little traffic, for people who don't like walking will of course be a delicate problem. The location is very good. In the Old Town Square, it is a five-minute walk from the Textile Hall. There is a restaurant with rice and fish in the vicinity. The environment is excellent. The hotel is small and fully equipped. The breakfast is very rich. Traveling will also help to book a car. There is a convenience store opposite. Low-key but warm hotel.

Stunning hotel centrally located and not far from the castle. We had an amazing heritage room on the fourth floor. The room was clean spacious and very luxurious with a patio area. The sol aqua area was amazing and a great place to relax with a wide variety of things to use, cryotherapy, infa-red sauna, steam room, bio sauna and a sound room, The only negative we have was the price of the breakfast 95pln each per day in Krakow is incredibly steep.

The location is very good, next to the central square, and most of the famous attractions are concentrated in the old town, so it is very convenient. The breakfast at the hotel was great, although the choice was not too much, but the quality was high. The only thing that is criticized is that the room is a little dim, but the front desk staff is very good. I will choose this store next time in Krakow.
