"The front door is hard to find, and there's no reception at night shift for Monday-Thursday, It's normally the security to help with check in/out process. I really like the room, they even have a gym and laundry room for use. The only problem for me is they do not provide a hairdryer in the room, and this is not stated in the booking details. You could only go and rent it for free every day in front of the security room, BUT they ONLY have 1 TO SHARE with the whole residents, when someone is not returning, you cannot use it. However, one nice guy from the reception helped me to chase the hairdryer back for 1 night."

"Excellent, stayed a night longer than planned.
The beef tartare and the duck breast were very good.
Top notch service from all personel. House keeping was also excellent. Personally, not a fan of the elevators which require your keycard to work. But obviously most hotels now switched to these. Maybe it is to encourage you to use the stairs more often?
At the bathroom, when the light is switched on, then the mirror light which is motion sensor triggered should also always stay on. A little odd while taking a shower that one has to wave to switch the mirror light on again."

Hotel's staff usually was very helpful - not perfect because one slim bald and three-day unshaven guy with glasses liked to direct me to using Internet for solution (and one his woman colleague said it once.) what is against of concierge's duty. A cleaner did her job wonderful but she could be more diligent because I detected hair in places and it could there where miss is impossible."

"The location is fantastic. The room was a bit small, likely due to being right by the train station, but it's perfect for exploring the city on foot. It was particularly convenient for our trip to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, as we could leave our luggage at the hotel and collect it on our way back. The front desk staff were incredibly nice!"

"Doubletree, Krakow is excellent. The Polish staff are professional and efficient. It's a tram away from the Old Town (reviewers complaining of the distance are either ignorant, lazy, or entitled). You can actually take a tram from two stops, which can get you pretty much to the major tourist areas such as Wawel Castle or even Podgorze where the Krakus Mound is located. Hilton includes a sauna, a 24-hour gym, and a really good breakfast with smoothies, desserts, and local Polish bread and honey. They surprisingly even served champagne one morning. Rooms are above standard and the hotel feels very new. During lean months (up to March), rooms are affordable but during conference months and high tourist season, Doubletree can get packed - with good reason. As expected, you get the Hilton chocolate chip cookie at check-in."

GGuest UserHotel is in easy reach to the main square , it is so clean it’s amazing . The rooms are spotless & amenities are good. The staff are very pleasant.
The hotel is opposite the shopping mall which if you like shopping your in a good place .
The train station , bus stop & trams are outside the mall.
If you book trips the stop is outside the hotel which is a bonus if your getting up early .
The beds are comfy room has a Wi-Fi charge point next to bed. All shower amenities etc provided, dressing gowns & slippers.
Breakfast is nice 👍

GGuest UserPerfect stay in centre of Old Town only 2 min walk to Town Square. Very professional staff who are so friendly and helpful. Superb underground luxurious Spa. We chose an internal room overlooking the restaurant rooftop - the room was absolutely perfect for us being so quiet and a comfy king-size bed. High quality furnishings with beautiful bedding and good choice of pillows. Beautiful bathroom with a fantastic shower complemented the quality of the room.
This hotel is pure luxury with a high quality finish which we could not fault.
There are so many restaurants on the door step we decided to sample as many as possible around the old Town rather than use the hotel breakfast and dinner options.
I've travelled with corporate brand hotels for many years with work and I really don't see any advatange of point rewards when you find private hotels to this standard at very competitive prices. The corporate chain hotels are also out of the old town area, so it makes this hotel a perfect choice. I will certainly return to this hotel and thoroughly recommend it.

The room was cleaned and tidy, and had a modern decoration. The staff are all accommodating and very helpful in providing you information about the City (krakow). Most of the stuff are very friendly and I almost felt I was home the way I was accommodated and treated.

PPolarmermaidWhat an excellent hotel with a warm historic ambience and lovely staff. I loved the special antique decor and dark wood. Good place to stay if you don’t know where you are as it’s very central-a short walk to the main historic square and a short walk to the modern three-story shopping mall—Galleria Krakova I think it’s called. There are trams right outside. Take them. If you get lost, use the Bolt App and order a taxi.
There are even a few goldfish in the back beer garden with big umbrellas which must be festive in the warmer months.
There’s a lift. My room was spacious with high ceilings. The bed was big and comfy. There was also a sofa, desk, plenty of hanging space, 🧥 fridge
and kettle with coffee/tea options - very handy. The assorted breakfast buffet was divine. So much to choose from: 🍵 , ☕️ 🍊 🍏 🍪 🍳 🥓 🧀 🫕 🥗 🥣 🧁 🥛 🧃
The staff were all very kind and helpful. The in-house masseur gave me a very good massage. The reception staff helped me pronounce Chocholowski which sounds like Hoho Woof Ski so just picture Santa and a dog skiing to get to the spa in the Tatra Mountains. Something for next time. It leaves you with a good feeling to stay here. 🌞🧳🌞

There are a total of three power outlets available.
The shower has good water pressure.
Luggage storage is also available free of charge, which was especially helpful for a solo traveler like me who arrived in Krakow at 9 a.m. while check-in wasn’t until 2 p.m.
The only drawback is that you might hear people talking and vehicles passing by especially at night since the hotel is located just beside the main street.

SsallyThe positives. The hotel was modern, well positioned from the central square, and the rooms were spotless. The breakfast was good quality with a diverse choice.
The negatives. A member of the cleaning staff walked into my room early morning without knocking. I believe she didn't realise the room was occupied. I was in my underwear in my bed exposed. It caused much embarrassment to me and her. I made a complaint. However, it was brushed aside, and there was no apology. From the staff member at reception. I ordered in food, and when it was delivered by the outside restaurant, it was left to sit at the hotel reception. When I eventually received a call from the desk via my moibile, the meal was cold and ruined. The receptionist claimed she had called my room telephone - she hadn't. Another incident with the cleaning staff, they threw my water bottle away when they cleaned the room. I asked where it was, and they went rifling through the black bags. I was totally shocked that they thought they could put my possession in the garbage.
The staff can be abrupt, Each job sector is very dislocated from the other, so it feels quite cold in the atmosphere of the hotel. If they could address the harmony of the staff, then the place would feel more welcoming.

the only thing i did not like was cleaness because i found some dusts on the desk and the sink.
as per the staff, everyone was helpful and warm-welcoming.
and the breakfast is a bit expensive but worthwhile to pay for 49 zloty because all the food were fresh and delicious. it is good to have breakfast early in the morning if you have to be in a hurry such as catching a plane or train.
besides, the location is very convenient. there is a direct bus to wieliszka salt mine, which is quite far from the city center and stare miasto (the downtown's name in polish) is also close to go due to lots of trams connecting from the hotel. 😆😆
and i personally take into consideration about whether there are stairs even at the entrance due to a heavy suitcase. there are no stairs at the main entrance and 2 lifts are working very well, and no need to worry about bringing the room card key. 😁
and the given password is easy to remember and convenient to get in the room, which can help you travel light.
thus, i would like to strongly recommend staying here due to lots of benefits to travel in krakow.

DdelThe location was Amazing , I can see the central square from my room . Really few steps no from everything. Well equipped room , with kettle , mug , soluble coffe and tea . I love this kind of stuff in the room . The bathroom, the shower was clean and new . The receptionist nice . The breakfast is weel filled ..you can chose between salty and sweet stuff .
