We came to M & Spa only because that is where the Blue Valet service left our car when our flight was delayed past their 11 pm closing time. We took a taxi, got our key from the concierge, found our car, loaded it up, and headed off to the hotel where we had made a non-refundable reservation. Barely out the gate, I hit something and got a flat tire. I can't change it myself, so we decided rather than try to get assistance at 2 am we would just forget about the 120 Euros for the hotel and get a room at the M & Spa. We were fortunate there was one, and within our budget. Moreover, the concierge made a call to the night clerk at our other hotel, told our story, and in the end got us a refund. The room for 162 Euros with tax was big and bright, with a comfortable bed, desk, couch, kitchenette and full bath (with tub). We could not have found a better port in a storm.

I stayed together with my partner at your hotel in Merignac last week the nights of the 29th and 30th of October. The night of the 30th we came back to the hotel around 22:30 p.m. and the reception was closed, so we used our card to open the main entrance of the hotel. Unfortunately, the card was not working as the door did not open. We tried several times to call the number which appeared in the front door, but no one replied. Suddenly some customers who were inside the hotel appeared and they opened us the front door. They told us that they have faced same issue; they could not open the front door. Additionally, they could not open their bedroom door, as the card was not working. We tried as well to open our bedroom door, but same issue happened, the card did not work. We were around two hours trying to reach someone from the hotel to solve this unpleasant situation, but we had no response at all. We were checking numbers of different Nemea hotels. We talked to both Lyon and Toulouse hotels, but they told us that they could not help us. They were stating that they were independent hotels and that they had no relationship between each other. We really felt abandoned and the whole situation was very unpleasant. We did as well call the police as we were desperate to solve this issue. As we had no response whatsoever from the hotel, we decided at around 0:15 a.m. to leave Nemea and search another hotel to spend the night. We needed to get a sleep. Same did the family that were with us in the reception. Moreover, they had two young daughters. Next morning, we went into the Nemea reception to explain the whole situation. The response we got from the man in the reception was to write an email to the following email account: merignac-stadium@nemea.fr. We did not accept so as we wanted a compensation on that same day. After that they agreed to pay us for the new hotel room we booked. This was not acceptable, and we required to compensate for the lost time, the several calls we did, the medication I was not able to take, and all the inconveniences caused. Finally, we got paid the hotel night at Ibis plus the Smartbox value. Finally, we would like to take the chance for you to recheck the internal policies on how you control the security as well as the emergency numbers in case any technological damage arises. A customer cannot be left abandoned as it has been done in this case.
We had booked this hotel for 7 days. There is a tramline into Bordeaux that goes from outside the hotel and takes about 30 minutes. We bought a 7 day ticket and used it every day so excellent value but the trams are very busy sometimes so we had to stand on some trips. If you're staying here and don't want to use the tram then you'll definitely need a car as it's basically on the side of the motorway. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we checked in. Rooms are big and clean. Nice and quiet. Loads of parking. Breakfast was okay. The pool is very small (not really big enough to swim in it) and not heated so we didn't use it. Overall a nice hotel, but probably more suited for business use or stop overs due to location.

The garden was lovely, very spacious, with two gite units at the bottom. Breakfast was tasty, served in a glass conservatory. Back on the road at 8:30 after breakfast.
GGuest UserAfter Ctrip paid the payment to the store, the unknown reason was cancelled. It may be that the agent did not communicate well. Fortunately, there was room at the time. Ctrip customer service contacted the result and paid for the payment. The episode was over. Breakfast is delicious and parking is free. The minibar is free. The room is big, just the room, the stairs.
GGuest UserYes this is a basic hotel which gives you what you need in a room but I would like to say how fantastic the staff were on our short visit. Every need was met and they went above and beyond. From opening up an adjoining room so we had enough room to iron a bridesmaid dress to tumble drying our wet swimming gear, holding a baby bath whilst we attended a wedding in cognac and holding our luggage whilst we had a day out in Bordeaux…all done with a smile. They absolutely made our trip travelling with a baby so much less stressful. Also going in the middle of august the rooms are so cool and comfortable. It’s around the corner from lovely places to eat and the tram stop is two minutes away for easy access to airport and Bordeaux. It’s no frills but would definitely stay again - thank you Kyriad!

The staff is laughing and welcome For the breakfast there is no bad choice, even when you go down at 10:15. Only a little bemol, it is not fruit. There is only fruit salad. What is also bad, is that there is no part in the rooms. Only 2 gardens. Sorry if you want to be in the full black. My recent stay at the B&B HOTEL Bordeaux Mérignac Hôtel de Ville was a series of frustrations and disappointments from start to finish. The staff's negative communication set the tone for what would be a thoroughly unpleasant experience. Upon entering the room, I was greeted by an overwhelming cigarette odor, which was particularly distressing as I was traveling with a child. The hotel's appearance was a far cry from the advertised photos, with a dilapidated building in dire need of renovation. Accessing my room proved to be a challenge due to a malfunctioning code-locked door, leading to unnecessary waiting times and frustration. The room's layout was impractical, and the excessive noise levels, exacerbated by the poorly insulated entrance door, made it difficult to find any peace or comfort. The price charged was exorbitant considering the subpar quality and amenities provided. Throughout the night, I was subjected to constant disturbances from other guests, and the hotel's lack of soundproofing only made matters worse. The most alarming incident occurred around midnight when strangers managed to gain access to my room, raising serious concerns about the hotel's security measures. The room itself was riddled with issues, including worn-out shower seals, a leaking faucet, a torn curtain, and a general lack of cleanliness, with food remnants found under the sofa bed. The sofa bed's comfort was mediocre at best, and the room lacked adequate utensils and plates for four people. The hotel's pool facilities were poorly maintained, with a dirty foot bath, and the placement of ashtrays near the room entrances led to guests smoking and chatting loudly outside my door late into the night. To add insult to injury, the lack of air conditioning made the room uncomfortably hot, particularly in the upstairs area. The pervasive cigarette smoke and the poor check-in process, coupled with the general sense of insecurity, made for a highly unpleasant stay. The room next door raised suspicions of illicit activities, with people knocking on the door every hour, further contributing to the hotel's unsavory atmosphere. I strongly advise considering alternative accommodations, even if it means spending a little more. The numerous issues I encountered at the B&B HOTEL Bordeaux Mérignac Hôtel de Ville made for a thoroughly disappointing and frustrating experience that I would not wish upon anyone.

The room we got was spacious and relatively cleaned except for the walls that are very dirty, the kitchenette has what you need to cook but no sponge and dish liquid to do the dishes. Also there are a lot of workers from other countries staying here, hanging out outside. The breakfast is very decent
