This is an absolutely fantastic hotel! 1. **Location**: It's incredibly accessible, just a 5-minute walk from Jiaoxi Bus Terminal. Even in the scorching heat of late July, we could quickly get there with our luggage. 2. **Customer Service**: During check-in, there was a staff member who spoke Korean, which made the process incredibly smooth. She proactively provided information I might need and explained the hotel's various services in Korean. I really appreciate her kind assistance. 3. **Room**: The room was very spacious and perfectly adequate for two people. The beautiful mountain view from the back was a delight, and the in-room hot spring tub was huge. The only minor drawback was the slightly firm bed, but aside from that, the complimentary minibar drinks and snacks, along with the immaculate cleanliness, were excellent. 4. **Hot Spring**: Beyond words, it was superb. The separate changing rooms for men and women were cool, and with about 10 individual showers, showering was comfortable and pleasant. After showering, entering the hot spring area, there were various pools ranging from 35°C to 42°C. There was even a unique doctor fish pool, which was a fun experience. Both steam and dry saunas were available, offering a great way to detox. 5. **Swimming Pool**: The large outdoor pool had separate lanes for swimming and recreational use, as well as a shallow pool for children. 6. **Breakfast**: This was the highlight of the hotel. There are hardly any reviews for this hotel on Korean blogs, and even fewer detailed reviews about the breakfast, so I didn't have high expectations. However, the breakfast, which was managed by time slots to ensure a moderate number of diners, was the best I've ever experienced at any hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh salads, diverse seafood, hot dishes, yogurt, ice cream, and bakery items – I was so full! My only regret was that I couldn't eat more in the morning. The staff were also incredibly friendly. When I first booked, I thought the price was a bit high, but for this price, the facilities and service are exceptional. If I visit Taiwan again, I would definitely want to stay here again. I highly recommend this excellent hotel to everyone!

My stay at Guanshang Hot Spring Hotel was truly fantastic! The room was bright and comfortable, spotlessly clean, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch. I especially loved the green plants next to the bathing area, which made soaking in the hot spring feel incredibly relaxing and gave it a real vacation vibe. The toiletries provided were from Cha Tzu Tang, which added a touch of luxury and showed the hotel's attention to detail. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise – served until 1:30 PM, so there was no need to rush in the morning. The variety of dishes was extensive and refined, and everything tasted delicious. You could tell the ingredients and preparation were of high quality. A huge bonus was being able to continue using the hotel facilities until 6:00 PM after check-out, which made the trip even more leisurely. We accidentally overstayed our welcome a bit, but the staff didn't reprimand us at all. Instead, they were incredibly polite and courteous, making us feel genuinely cared for. From the accommodation environment and dining quality to the service attitude, every aspect left a great impression. It was a truly enjoyable stay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, and I'll definitely be back if I get the chance!

The guesthouse I stayed at this time was in Toucheng, Yilan, very close to the Toucheng Interchange, called Craftsman's Little Wooden House. I felt it was a very tasteful place. The little wooden house definitely gave me a relaxing feeling. Upon entering, the high ceilings and stairs leading to the upper bunk made the room feel more like a three-dimensional geometric space than a flat map. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be the lack of chairs. There was only one for a vanity table, and the rest were outdoor chairs on the back balcony. The interior was mostly cushioned on the floor, in a Japanese style, but for someone like me with osteoporosis, standing up and squatting down was incredibly difficult, haha. But I can't blame the owner; it's just my personal problem. Overall, however, it was comfortable. Breakfast was simple, served in the common area on the first floor: simple toast, congee, and a few side dishes. It was quite satisfying, and I felt warmly cared for. This room type appears to accommodate up to eight people. There are two double beds on the lower bunk and two people sleeping on each side of the upper bunk, so it can comfortably fit eight people, making it quite suitable for family trips. It's very close to Jiaoxi at night, so you can go for a hot spring bath, find some food, or even call a panda (a local restaurant). Living comfortably is no problem.

Overall, it was a good stay and I'd definitely stay there again. The lobby was grand, the family rooms were spacious, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the beds were just the right firmness for a good night's sleep! Cons: The elevator was incredibly difficult to wait for when checking out. All three elevators were packed, and the wait was long. The emergency exit only goes to B1, so if you park your car in B2, you still have to find a way to get to B2 by hopping on an elevator from another floor! My kids loved it. There's a pool with hot springs, a ball pool, a PS5, a racing track for little Bubu cars, and a variety of other children's play facilities! It's definitely on my bucket list for future trips with kids!

The room was incredibly spacious, and the price was very reasonable, offering great value for money. There were quite a few facilities in the spa pool, and the water jets were powerful, leaving my body feeling completely refreshed after use. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, the taste was decent. It was a shame that the menu was exactly the same for both nights of our stay. My only minor complaints are that despite the large room, the bed was a bit small, and there were very few power outlets for charging devices. Overall, it was still a very good experience.

We are frequent guests of Chung-kuan, especially after the Spring Hill Resort Chuan-tang Deyang branch closed. Chung-kuan has always been our top choice for accommodation and hot springs. They say there's no harm in comparison, so I'd like to offer some sincere advice to Chung-kuan. The weather has been extremely hot recently, and on the night we checked in, the indoor pool was closed. The outdoor pool was a scorching 39 degrees Celsius, and we nearly fainted from dehydration after less than 30 minutes. There were also many plant seeds in the pool, and every time we stepped on one, it gave us a fright. The next day, the indoor pool was open, but every child was playing with water guns, shooting everywhere. During one soak, we were hit by water guns no less than 10 times. Previously, at Spring Hill Chuan-tang, lifeguards would constantly patrol and strictly prohibit children from playing with water guns and balls in the hot spring area, only allowing them in the children's play area, ensuring the quality of the guests' hot spring experience. However, the lifeguards at Chung-kuan seem to be just for show. We only saw one once during a two-hour soak, and they quickly passed through and were never seen again. This made us feel that the quality of our hot spring experience this time was terrible. They say 'the one who complains about the goods is the one who buys them.' We hope that Chung-kuan's hot spring quality can be improved to ensure its long-term sustainable operation.

This was my first time taking the train from Hualien to Jiaoxi Station. As soon as I exited the station, I walked straight and then turned right, and there were so many hot spring hotels and inns of all sizes. There were also stir-fry restaurants, izakayas, and even a night market street where I bought 5 different local fruits – they were absolutely delicious. Kavalan Onsen has many branches, and we booked a deluxe quad room. The hot spring tub in the room was also a quad tub, super spacious! Soaking in the hot springs was truly stress-relieving and helped me sleep well at night. The hotel also has a small fish spa pool for your feet, which felt like acupuncture – it was fun! The squid for breakfast was tasty too.

This hotel has brought our whole experience up a next level & setting high benchmarks for our other & future hotel experience! Room, spacious family room..thou layout a bit weird toilet one end. Bath and shower the other end. Hotsprings was a good soak daily! Rem swim caps. N the games room was amazing! Kids & even adults had so much fun. Theres even DIY activity (paid) for children! There daily afternoon tea(simple but has wine) & daily supper provided. Supper was a feast! Also like late dinner. N as for afternoon tea, we only enjoy it on 1st day of check in as remaining days we were always out. Breakfast was a wide variety too. Ample self parking space & walkable to the night market streets! Highly recommend this hotel stay.

Very pleasant experience stay. The customer service was excellent, from the time we walk in with the staff open the door for us to the time we check out. The front desk staff Louis was very helpful and polite. Amenities in the room, hot spring to the spa are provided everything we needed including the dryer for the swimsuit. Private hot springs tub was Great for us who walk all day long and want to have late night hot springs experience. The hotel welcome with afternoons delivered to room. Breakfast with large variety or Japanese and ********* cuisine. Great location, near the train station and next to free public hot spring reserve

My stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Jiaoxi in Yilan was truly enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently located near the famous hot springs, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. The property has a modern yet welcoming atmosphere, with spacious rooms that feature comfortable beds and large windows offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. One of the highlights was the hot spring facilities—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The staff were courteous and helpful, always attentive to guests’ needs. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of both ********* and international dishes. Overall, this hotel combines comfort, great service, and the unique charm of Jiaoxi’s hot springs, making it a wonderful choice for both leisure and family trips.
