Spa Hotels in Yilan

We stayed on the 9th floor of Fendoc Castle and the kids had a blast! You can drive toy cars in the hallway, and just around the corner is a kids' play area with unlimited movies and afternoon tea. The hotel also has a spa and pool on the 6th floor, a reading room and kids' playroom on the 7th floor, and an outdoor playground in the courtyard on the 8th floor, complete with a dedicated kids' cinema. Floors 1-4 are the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Plaza, where you can shop and watch movies (the hotel front desk can even reserve your seats for unlimited viewing). The breakfast spread was also diverse and delicious. Overall, it's truly an incredibly family-friendly hotel! 😆

This is an absolutely fantastic hotel! 1. **Location**: It's incredibly accessible, just a 5-minute walk from Jiaoxi Bus Terminal. Even in the scorching heat of late July, we could quickly get there with our luggage. 2. **Customer Service**: During check-in, there was a staff member who spoke Korean, which made the process incredibly smooth. She proactively provided information I might need and explained the hotel's various services in Korean. I really appreciate her kind assistance. 3. **Room**: The room was very spacious and perfectly adequate for two people. The beautiful mountain view from the back was a delight, and the in-room hot spring tub was huge. The only minor drawback was the slightly firm bed, but aside from that, the complimentary minibar drinks and snacks, along with the immaculate cleanliness, were excellent. 4. **Hot Spring**: Beyond words, it was superb. The separate changing rooms for men and women were cool, and with about 10 individual showers, showering was comfortable and pleasant. After showering, entering the hot spring area, there were various pools ranging from 35°C to 42°C. There was even a unique doctor fish pool, which was a fun experience. Both steam and dry saunas were available, offering a great way to detox. 5. **Swimming Pool**: The large outdoor pool had separate lanes for swimming and recreational use, as well as a shallow pool for children. 6. **Breakfast**: This was the highlight of the hotel. There are hardly any reviews for this hotel on Korean blogs, and even fewer detailed reviews about the breakfast, so I didn't have high expectations. However, the breakfast, which was managed by time slots to ensure a moderate number of diners, was the best I've ever experienced at any hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh salads, diverse seafood, hot dishes, yogurt, ice cream, and bakery items – I was so full! My only regret was that I couldn't eat more in the morning. The staff were also incredibly friendly. When I first booked, I thought the price was a bit high, but for this price, the facilities and service are exceptional. If I visit Taiwan again, I would definitely want to stay here again. I highly recommend this excellent hotel to everyone!

The guesthouse I stayed at this time was in Toucheng, Yilan, very close to the Toucheng Interchange, called Craftsman's Little Wooden House. I felt it was a very tasteful place. The little wooden house definitely gave me a relaxing feeling. Upon entering, the high ceilings and stairs leading to the upper bunk made the room feel more like a three-dimensional geometric space than a flat map. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be the lack of chairs. There was only one for a vanity table, and the rest were outdoor chairs on the back balcony. The interior was mostly cushioned on the floor, in a Japanese style, but for someone like me with osteoporosis, standing up and squatting down was incredibly difficult, haha. But I can't blame the owner; it's just my personal problem. Overall, however, it was comfortable. Breakfast was simple, served in the common area on the first floor: simple toast, congee, and a few side dishes. It was quite satisfying, and I felt warmly cared for. This room type appears to accommodate up to eight people. There are two double beds on the lower bunk and two people sleeping on each side of the upper bunk, so it can comfortably fit eight people, making it quite suitable for family trips. It's very close to Jiaoxi at night, so you can go for a hot spring bath, find some food, or even call a panda (a local restaurant). Living comfortably is no problem.

Overall, it was a good stay and I'd definitely stay there again. The lobby was grand, the family rooms were spacious, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the beds were just the right firmness for a good night's sleep! Cons: The elevator was incredibly difficult to wait for when checking out. All three elevators were packed, and the wait was long. The emergency exit only goes to B1, so if you park your car in B2, you still have to find a way to get to B2 by hopping on an elevator from another floor! My kids loved it. There's a pool with hot springs, a ball pool, a PS5, a racing track for little Bubu cars, and a variety of other children's play facilities! It's definitely on my bucket list for future trips with kids!

As someone who loves hot springs, whenever I have a day off, I search for great hot springs ♨️ and nearby delicious food and fun places to unwind from work stress. I've been to all the hot springs in Yangmingshan, so a friend recommended Jiaoxi in Yilan. That's why for my last two trips, I chose to stay at the Grandma Hot Spring Hotel in Jiaoxi. This stay was excellent, with superb environmental hygiene 👍, and you can even cook food in the hot spring water. The most amazing thing was the fish spa pond at the hotel – a fantastic first-time experience! I'll definitely be back. This hot spring hotel ♨️ is highly recommended.

+ The front desk staff were friendly and polite. + The room was spacious, almost double the size of a typical hotel room. + The bed and pillows were comfortable for a good night's sleep. + The air conditioning was already on when we entered the room, which was a nice touch and made a good impression. + There's a water dispenser on every floor providing hot and cold water, which is quite convenient. + The bathtub was huge, and the hot spring water flow was strong. + There's a spa and sauna, but we didn't have time to use them. @ The parking lot is quite a distance away. The hotel advises checking in and dropping off luggage first before parking, which is inconvenient on hot or rainy days. @ The bathroom floor is very slippery; elderly guests should be especially careful and wear slippers when walking around. @ The room's light switches are all concentrated by the bed, and there's no switch near the bathroom door, which is inconvenient when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. @ Breakfast was decent but nothing spectacular.

The environment and facilities are well-maintained. The pool even provides inner tubes and floating mats, which made the kids really happy. There are also many restaurants within walking distance, so the amenities nearby are quite good. Breakfast is served as a set meal, so you don't have to queue or keep getting up. After you finish, you can even choose another set meal, so you won't have to worry about not getting enough to eat.

The part-timer (I assume) in the lounge was completely unenthusiastic, which really soured my experience. I just asked how to operate the dance machine, and it took me almost 10 minutes to figure it out? They clearly could have actively helped us, but instead chose to watch us struggle. However, the owner was great, the front desk was excellent, and the staff at the hot springs were also very enthusiastic and helpful.

This is an amazing family-friendly hotel. From check-in to check-out, the staff showed such kindness and empathy towards both children and parents. Room service was also incredibly fast. What touched me most was one morning when my kids were having a meltdown, and we couldn't take them to the downstairs dining area. Once the staff understood the situation, they proactively packed up both our adult and children's breakfasts and brought them to our room – it was truly thoughtful. Even with many guests, the service quality never faltered; you could feel their understanding and care for families with children everywhere. On top of that, the hotel's location is superb! I hadn't done much research beforehand, but while strolling around in the evening, we stumbled upon a lively hot spring street with lots of game stalls that kids loved and street performers. We had a great time just exploring the area around the hotel. I can truly say this isn't just a hotel with family facilities, but one that genuinely understands the needs of families with children. Highly recommend it to anyone traveling with kids – we will definitely be back!

This is my first trip with my daughter. The location is just next to Jiaoxi Railway Station. It is super convenient. There are food shops downstairs. It is very convenient to buy. No matter where you go, you can take the train to travel around. It is fast and saves money. The breakfast is very diverse and there are fried instant noodles that I like. This time we planned three days and two nights. After playing outside, we returned to the hotel swimming pool spa. My daughter played on the slide, but the water level of the slide was too low. The tiles in the swimming pool are very sharp. They will be worn down when sliding down, or the edges and corners will be scratched. The return time was too late. I am really grateful that the swimming pool facilities let us stay. Except that the TV signal in the room is really super bad and the carpet is yellow and black, everything else is great.
