I originally booked three nights, but after checking in I decided to cancel the next two nights because the main business here is hot springs, and the hotel lobby is also a hot spring entrance open to the public, which is a bit confusing. Although there is a hot spring pool in the room, there are regulations on water consumption. If you exceed the prescribed amount of water, you will need to pay extra. And because there is a hot spring pool in the room, other facilities in the room are a bit tight, making the stay uncomfortable. The hotel is not easy to find behind Jinjiang Hotel. The hotel has a three-story underground parking lot, which is mixed with the vehicles that come to the hot springs. There are plenty of parking spaces. The hotel breakfast is in Jinjiang Hotel. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes good.

This is the best hotel experience ever! ! ! The facilities are complete and the service is in place, but these are the basic qualities that every hotel should have, not worth mentioning. The most touching thing for me must be the full atmosphere! ! ! Although I was exhausted, you would never swipe the card to enter the room first, because the house number next to the door is really attractive! ! GGuest UserThe Hongyang Hotel is really good. It is a hotel with good quality and good value for money. Each room is equipped with a washing machine and a dryer in the corridor. The bedding is clean and tidy. We have booked 6 houses and are very satisfied. We came out Just opposite the train station is the passenger terminal, which is very convenient for travel.

GGuest UserWe are glad we chose this hotel. It is beautiful with a garden you can walk in upfront. The room was bigger than we had imagined with fancy gadgets and house keeping. Check in was a breeze. The front desk was friendly, helpful and resourceful. They helped us to find a driver to drive us. They also suggested places of interest that we could visit. The pillows are fluffy and comfy. The hotel is a little up a steep-ish cliff but its only like a 10 minutes endeavor. Taxis and didi's can come right up to the hotel. There's a bus stop literally by the hotel gate on the main road that can take you into town. The breakfast was the only down thing for us. Ir was very very chinese targeted. At least there was coffee! We would def stay again and bring our own drip coffee!

GGuest UserThe hotel is right in the scenic area. The rooms are very clean and tidy, with complete facilities and equipment, most of which are intelligently operated. Although it is a homestay, there are elevators, catering services, beautiful environment, and very convenient parking. The boss is very nice and enthusiastic. He taught us how to order tickets and recommended tour routes. Although it only takes 3-4 minutes to drive to Fanjing Mountain, the boss still picked us up in person, which is very thoughtful. Although it rained on May Day, I had a lot of fun.

GGuest UserBeaaaaautiful guesthouse with a beautiful view on the mountain. Its very quiet and peaceful, about 10-15mins walk from the small village where the restaurants are. The rooms are nicey designed and decorated, all by the owner himself. You can see he put a lot of love and effort in it. The rooms we stayed in had a big window and terrace, so we woke up to the mountains and the many flowers they planted around the guesthouse which was really nice. The owner and his family are super nice and helpful with everything. Only thing that we didnt like too much are the disposable towels, guesthouse owner explained its for hygiene purpose, but still prefer towels that can be reused. Breakfast is very simple as they run the place all on their own and dont have the capacity yet.

MMark123456Booked 3 nights in the ”Elegant Residence City-View Double Bed Room” at the Fanbo Yashe Hotel. Overall, it was a good experience and a comfortable stay. The front desk was quite helpful, especially the wonderful receptionist Xiaoya, who assisted me with numerous things with enthusiasm, such as answering any questions, showcasing the various free amenities in the lobby, giving a quick demonstration of how to use the shared laundry area, and offered additional water or other services as needed. The bed and other furniture were comfortable and clean. The shower and bathroom area were fairly good as well. The atmosphere and decor of the room were probably the best thing. Most hotels have a stereotypical and replicated hotel room, but this hotel's rooms give you something more enjoyable since it is a different style from the norm. Special note on cleanliness: I did want to give this a 4.5, but kept it rounded-up to a 5 since it was minor enough. The room did have some leftover sunflower seed shells in a few corners or where a piece of furniture meets the floor, and a little bit of dirt stuck where the floor layers overlap in the middle of the room. However, it was not that big of a deal. This is maybe a reminder for the hotel to take a second look where dirt or trash may get stuck when simply sweeping or mopping quickly. Special note on the bathroom mirror lighting: The lighting by the bathroom sink and mirror could use some more direct lighting, since the position of the current lighting is not too strong and caused shadows on the face. This is not a big issue, but it could prove inconvenient to others, such as women putting on make up or trying to carefully trim a beard. The top-down lighting can cause shadows and unclear views under the eyes, nose, lips, and neck. Tips for guests: Name of the Hotel: While this website says Fanbo Yashe, you may actually see it named Van Gogh's Garden in person. Don't be confused; it is the same place. ”Fanbo” is related to the Chinese name for Van Gogh, ”Fan Gao”. Laundry: Yes, is it available, but there is only one washer and dryer available (hopefully these are increased to two or three!). Laundry detergent is provided. It can be a little troublesome trying to manage around other guests, so it is likely best to do it during the day when people are busy. There is also some nearby clotheslines one can use or just hang in your room if there is not too much. Foreigner Friendliness: Very good. They'll use Wechat to translate and communicate with you if necessary or find some other methods. In short, foreigners should have an easy time here. If other receptionists are friendly like Xiaoya, then there is nothing to worry about. Attraction Services: The hotel seems to offer some ticket and transportation services for nearby attractions (or at least advertises third-party services), but I did not use them and cannot attest to them. Location: It is right next to the bus station in Tongren (and a few streets away from the train station). Once the bus drops you off in the lot, you will need to exit the lot and head slightly east towards the nearby main street, then make your way south. You should encounter the hotel next to where the bus tickets are sold.

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay at Yunfu. We arrived a little earlier than check in, so we went to wait by the pagoda in the square. literally two minutes walk. At night the square comes to life but we were able to sleep peacefully. The owners (I presume) were really welcoming and helped us buy tickets for the mountain. they drop and collected us from the bottom of the mountain. nice touch that we appreciated. The room is nicely decorated and has a worth about it. its clean and has AC. The beds are comfy. pillows ok. There is a restaurant just outside the hotel door to the right. we went to the one to the right but across the small road. awesome fish and bamboo. Its a nice town for like 2-3 days. We arranged with the taxi driver who drove us from train station to hotel to pick us up when we went back. very affordable prices. P.S: if you are gonna go during a holiday or summer/winter holidays BOOK YOUR TICKES IN ADVANCE. or call the hotel to help you.And go in the morning. You will understand why when you are half way up. the hotel was were really helpfully a week before we even arrived. We would stay again.

JJourney01Honest review about my two-day stay. I'm hoping to see some improvements. Customer Service: Poor. Unresponsive to requests, lacking in providing assistance. Not courteous, which is expected of a hotel staff. Staff: Unaccommodating, often responding with “No” rather than seeking solutions or alternatives. Hotel Room: Good. The automatic toilet feature was a highlight. Cleanliness: Good, but there is potential for improvement. Amenities: Good. Location: Good. Value for Money: Acceptable for a 4-5 star hotel, but the value is diminished by the subpar service. Improvements in customer service and satisfaction are necessary to justify the cost. Overall Experience: Unsatisfactory, especially compared to my other stays at Wyndham hotels. This particular experience did not meet the standards expected from the Wyndham brand, leading to disappointment.

I think they saw me wandering about and figured I was looking for their hotel haha. Gave me guidance on how to get to fanjingshan. It seems to be run by a nice family. bit of a language barrier but you can communicate over translate - hotels ask for more details than hostels so if you don't speak chinese you should prepare your name, nationality, phone number, previous city etc. with chinese labels beforehand to make the process smoother Location Walking distance from train station. You can walk into the central town but there is a nearby bus stop too (although all the buses I went on were crammed). Also walking distance to the tourist centre bus stop to other cities. Has shops below. I think I might have struggled a bit to find it if they hadn't seen me. quite a nice view of the surrounding buildings and their lights A bit grubby around the edges e.g. the toilet hadn't been cleaned and it was very close to the shower, but it is so cheap you can't really complain More hostel vibes than hotel

SSteven DowsonWe arrived via two buses and a taxi, next time we'll drive and there is lots of parking available at the front of the hotel. Receptionists and staff all very friendly and efficient. Room was very clean, great shower, squat toilet. Hotel is a short walk from West Gate, you can follow the road or cut through the trees. We ate at the hotel first evening upon arrival and the food was good home cooking, we also had the noodle breakfast which was basic but good. We were lucky to have great weather on Fanjingshan but it's a stiff hike from West Gate and our legs were sore the next day. After our day on the mountain we stopped at a restaurant close to the gate, and returned here on our second night because the food was fresh, tasty, good value, and they have an excellent view of the mountain opposite (see photos). On our second day we took a taxi down the mountain to the nearest town (taxis use the charging points opposite the hotel) but we had trouble getting back and were fortunate to hitch a lift. The West Gate is preferable to East Gate but it's better to have a car.

CcnphoebeAlthough a good location and a nice room, the hotel is not equipped to host foreign guests. There is a lack of willingness to help. When you ask for help in booking a taxi, they give you a number and tell you to do it yourself. This is not the service I expect from a hotel at that price. I have never encountered a hotel so unwilling to help in any way. They did not help us to buy tickets for the mountain (which considering they are next to, is the one service they should provide! Every other hotel we have visited on our tour has helped us with attraction tickets). Foreigners cannot buy tickets without a Chinese ID. However, the hotel insisted we buy advance tickets, so we got a friend to help us instead. This was the wrong information: we were able to buy tickets on the day and could not use a friend’s ID! It is unacceptable to have such little information about the one tourist site next door; the only reason guests are staying in this remote location. Our check-in also took longer than usual, and breakfast is apparently a ‘tour group’ style breakfast voucher. All in all, a disappointing stay. However as the hotel has a great location and nice rooms, this is easily fixable.
