The construction area of Nancheng Courtyard is about 2,600 square meters. The rooms are divided into four main courts: east, south, west and north. Each single courtyard, courtyard and stacked room types adopt a multi-form silent style design, highlighting the nobleness of popular fashion and natural return to taste. Cleanliness: The wooden house was clean and tidy, bringing back childhood memories. Facilities: It's very close to the parking lot, and parking is free. "This was my second stay, but overall, it wasn't as good as the first time. When I checked in, the front desk told me that the king-size room I originally booked was full and they'd upgraded me to a round bed room. I figured there wouldn't be much difference, so I agreed. However, when I got to the room and tried to use the key card, it wouldn't open. I called the front desk, and they said the card probably hadn't been activated properly. I had to wait a few minutes outside the door, which was quite inconvenient. Also, in the round bed room, the power outlets near the headboard were too far away, making it really hard to charge my devices 😓. These issues were somewhat acceptable, but then around 9 AM the next morning, the landline in the room rang unexpectedly. I'm not sure if it was the front desk or someone else, but it really disrupted my sleep. The soundproofing wasn't great either; I kept hearing loud noises from the hallway. Next time I'm in Tongren, I'll definitely have to reconsider staying at this hotel."

"Three of us friends decided last minute to visit Tongren for the May Day holiday, and I can't believe how great this hotel turned out to be! First off, its location is excellent, really close to the old town and other attractions. There's even a super popular beef noodle shop nearby that always has a queue. Secondly, the service was absolutely fantastic! As soon as our car pulled up, the bellhop proactively took our luggage to the front desk. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk noticed there were three of us but only two complimentary breakfasts, so she immediately offered to add an extra one! And honestly, the breakfast at the hotel ended up being the best meal I had during my entire trip to Tongren! After checking in, I was waiting for my friends on the sofa, and I think it was the lobby manager who noticed my friend and I had a bit of a cold. They proactively asked if we'd like some ginger tea to warm up and shake off the chill. Seriously, the service here is beyond words, just absolutely amazing! With this level of service and ambiance, I'll only stay at this hotel whenever I visit Tongren in the future. I completely forgot to take photos of the hotel itself, so I only have a shot of the view from the window during the day – it was truly lovely!"

The facilities are quite new, featuring a smart toilet and a large bathtub, which really enhanced the experience. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and very efficient. Breakfast offered a good variety and tasted delicious. It's located right above a shopping mall, making dining and shopping super convenient, and parking is free. "The hotel's exterior is elegant and suitable for taking photos, but the rooms are just average. The cleanliness is so-so, with some food scraps left by previous guests on the floor in the corners. The overall layout of the rooms is a bit cramped. Because it's a garden-style building, it only has two or three floors and no elevator. If you have a lot of luggage, you have to walk a bit from the hotel lobby to your room, and the path is winding. You can only get to your room by going up the stairs. Another big problem for those who drive is that the parking lot is very small. Even in the off-season, the parking lot fills up quickly. If you arrive late, you have to park far away. Moreover, the parking spaces inside the hotel are very narrow and can only accommodate a few cars. In some spaces, two cars are parked behind each other, and there is no way for people to get out on either side. The left side is right next to a pillar, and the right side is right next to the car next to you. When the car next to you opens its door, it will definitely hit your car, otherwise you can't get in. You can imagine how narrow the parking spaces are. I originally booked two nights, but after staying one night, I canceled the one night and stayed at a hotel with a large parking lot instead."

"Pretty good. It's very close to the train station, which was convenient since I arrived late that evening and needed to head to Fanjing Mountain early the next morning. The hotel is also very close to the bus station, and the shuttle bus to the scenic area picks up right outside. My only complaint is that after checking out in the morning, I waited for the bus and suddenly felt unwell (my own issue, really). I went back to the front desk to ask if I could use a restroom, and the staff member just told me there wasn't one available and to find one outside. Where was I supposed to go? It felt like once I checked out, I was no longer a guest. A bit frustrating. 😮💨"

"It's rare to encounter a hotel with such thoughtful service; every little detail shows how much care they put in. The reception staff were gentle and explained the check-in benefits clearly and understandably, without any pushy sales tactics. When I called the front desk for water late at night because I was thirsty, it was delivered very quickly. The room cleaning left no sanitary dead ends, and the toiletries on the vanity were neatly arranged. When I checked out, I accidentally left a small hair tie behind, and the staff promptly contacted me to return it. They are reliable and warm-hearted. I will definitely choose this place again next time I visit."

The hotel is very close to the train station, and it only takes ten minutes to walk from the room to the train station. The lady boss is very considerate and will get up early to cook eggs for the guests. When checking out in the morning to catch the train, the boss enthusiastically reminded me not to forget to take the eggs, which was very touching. There are coffee and other drinks and small snacks and desserts available at the front desk. The room also provides a washing machine, a disinfection cabinet and a smart toilet. The price-performance ratio of this hotel is quite high. The only drawback is that the window sound insulation is a bit poor. You can hear the sound of the train, and wearing earplugs does not affect your sleep. The hotel has free parking, and it is very convenient to park and return the car when renting a car for a self-driving tour.

Amazing! Fascinating! Fanjingshan was the final stop of our memorable 10-day tour of Guizhou Province, and we truly could not have chosen a better place to conclude our journey. We felt genuinely blessed to stay at this lovely guesthouse for three nights. From the very beginning, the owner Mr. Zhang Haotian and his family made us feel completely at home; they were warm, engaging, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are tastefully designed and thoughtfully laid out, perfectly sized for comfort. Our room offered a soothing view of the river, along with a private balcony; an ideal spot to relax with your favourite tea or coffee. The modern touches were impressive too, especially the high-tech sensor toilet, which added a pleasant surprise. The three-storey guesthouse is equipped with an elevator, a thoughtful convenience for guests with heavy luggage or those who may find climbing stairs challenging. Dinner, lovingly cooked by the family, was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that reflected both their hospitality and culinary skill. Every meal felt homely and satisfying. We only wish we had taken more and better photographs of the guesthouse. Without a doubt, this is one place we will return to. As for the enchanting Fanjing Mountain itself, the owner drove us to the scenic area entrance. He even offered to pick us up later, but we chose to walk back instead, enjoying the cool climate. Fanjing Mountain is magical in its own right. The steep cable car ride to the summit, which takes over 20 minutes, was an experience in itself, offering breathtaking views of the mountain ranges stretching endlessly around us. At the top stands the age-old Buddhist temple, serene and awe-inspiring, perfectly harmonising with its natural surroundings. We loved the guesthouse, we are very grateful to Mr. Zhang and his family for their kindness, and deeply thankful for the unforgettable experience at Fanjing Mountain. It was the perfect ending to a remarkable journey.

The hotel is located at the entrance to the road leading to the fanjingshan scenic area. It will take you around a 15mins walk or so to reach the tourist centre where you can purchase your tickets to enter the park. The hotel is mostly aurrounded by fellow hotels and restaurants and a tiny weeny convenience stall just beside the hotel. The plump lady receptionist might sound crude but she is extremely friendly and helpful. The reception area is sparse but the room is defintely okay.not many guests when i was staying there. It is worth a stay though there is nothing much to do around the area and if your aim is just to visit fanjingshan

The room was huge and well laid out, with a living room and two toilets, which made the stay very comfortable. A one-time-use bathtub cover was provided for hygiene, which I appreciated. The smart toilet bowl automatically opens the lid—though it still catches me off guard sometimes. I stayed for two nights. As part of my usual routine, I always check the TV and Wi-Fi functionality upon check-in, and I noticed that the TV in the bedroom was not working. I reported this to the reception, but it was not fixed during my stay. On the second night, there were inconsistent loud banging noises coming from the upper floor between 9–10 pm, which sounded like construction. This was also reported to the reception, and they sent a staff member to my room to check. She also heard the noise when I asked her to come inside the room, to my surprise the noise can only be heard in my room, not even outside the door. As I had just returned to the hotel at that time, I told her I would monitor the situation and inform her if the noise continued closer to my bedtime. She was apologetic and mentioned that she would look into the issue. I appreciated her effort, although the noise was disruptive and did affect my overall experience. The hotel is about a 30-minute drive to Tongren Railway Station and around 10 minutes to Tongren Ancient City. I would recommend this hotel if you’re only staying for a short period since there’s nothing much to do other than visiting the Fan Jing Shan Mountain (personal opinion). Side note: bed quality is indeed good, just nice for people with back pain issue.

We stayed for two nights because the hotel is conveniently located near Fanjingshan. While the location was suitable for our visit, the overall experience was disappointing. The hotel was extremely quiet when we first arrived, and it appeared that we were the only guests during our stay. Unfortunately, the level of service did not meet expectations. On our first night, we requested washing powder so that we could do some laundry. We were told that it had run out and that more would be available the following morning. However, when we checked the next day, there was still no washing powder available. More frustratingly, the staff made no effort to update us on the situation or offer an alternative solution. This lack of communication and initiative was disappointing. The bed was also very hard and uncomfortable. We eventually decided to extend our stay by one more night because my wife was experiencing back pain and preferred not to travel. However, our sleep quality did not improve. At around 6:00 a.m., we were awakened by other guests talking loudly in the corridor and by the constant noise of doors opening and closing. The soundproofing appears to be poor, as noises from the hallway could be clearly heard inside the room. Between the uncomfortable bed, inadequate sound insulation, and the lack of attentiveness from the staff, we did not get the restful stay we had hoped for. .

It was a very satisfying trip. Before choosing a place, I hesitated about whether to stay closer to the scenic area entrance, but based on my experience, I would recommend staying directly in the village. It's more physically demanding for hiking, and meals are more convenient. The owner can pick you up and drop you off at the scenic area entrance. We also found out after arriving that you can arrange pick-up and drop-off services in Tongren city in advance, and the price is slightly cheaper than taking a taxi. The owners are very easy to talk to, so there's no need to worry about any disputes. Although the facilities aren't particularly high-end, it's worth the price.

We embarked on a 14-day trip to Guiyang this time. We took a direct bus from Zhenyuan Ancient Town bus station to the East Gate of Fanjingshan. After a short walk of a few minutes, crossing the Heiwuan River Wind-Rain Bridge, which spans the Taiping River and features typical Dong ethnic architectural style, we arrived at the hotel. I'd say the transportation was incredibly convenient. During check-in, we met front desk attendant Xiao Le (No. 02). He was very enthusiastic and smiling, taking our two pieces of luggage and escorting us to our room. He also presented us with complimentary welcome fruits and shared a Fanjingshan travel guide, which we found very touching. Since this was our first time in Guizhou and we were traveling independently, we weren't very familiar with the transport connections. Before our trip, I called the front desk to ask which Fanjingshan gate the hotel was closest to. The person who answered the phone was impatient, said they were busy, and hung up after just a couple of words. It's the same hotel, yet due to differing service attitudes, guests experience very different feelings. If Guizhou wants to develop its tourism industry, even with the national government building highways right to its doorstep, the service awareness still needs significant improvement.

I think they saw me wandering about and figured I was looking for their hotel haha. Gave me guidance on how to get to fanjingshan. It seems to be run by a nice family. bit of a language barrier but you can communicate over translate - hotels ask for more details than hostels so if you don't speak chinese you should prepare your name, nationality, phone number, previous city etc. with chinese labels beforehand to make the process smoother Location Walking distance from train station. You can walk into the central town but there is a nearby bus stop too (although all the buses I went on were crammed). Also walking distance to the tourist centre bus stop to other cities. Has shops below.
