This hotel is right next to the Nanshan Bamboo Sea Scenic Area, and the rooms are nestled within a bamboo forest. There's a shuttle service to take you to each room, and you even take an elevator up the mountain to get there. A butler contacts you before check-in; the one assigned to me, Guan Qiuxiang, provided excellent service and responded to any questions instantly! The hotel's facilities, cleanliness, views, and service are all top-notch. The breakfast quality is very good, but I felt the variety was a bit limited compared to other hotels in the same category, and the dishes were identical for both days of my stay. Everything else was perfect, though.

Staying for two nights was so relaxing! The lakeside hot spring tickets for two: Soaking in the hot springs at night was very atmospheric. We prepared our swimsuits beforehand; the hot springs have changing rooms, but we changed in our room, put on our robes, and headed over. Each hot spring had a water temperature display, and there were mugwort, carnation, and traditional Chinese medicine pools. After soaking for a while, we felt so comfortable, slightly sweaty, and warm all over. You should definitely try the hotel's casserole fish head. Our butler service was very warm and attentive. I personally think the hotel breakfast is on par with a five-star hotel. While it doesn't have as much variety as a five-star, it has everything you need. The room facilities are a bit dated. We went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The package with a meal was the most cost-effective. A shuttle bus takes you to the entrance. You walk a bit, then take a one-way mini-train. You can either take the cable car to the mountaintop first or the ground cable car to the panda house first. Both the cable car and ground cable car tickets are round trip. If you're tired on the way back, just buy a one-way mini-train ticket. If you still have energy, you can walk, and you'll pass by the Little Goose Park to watch a show. The whole trip took about 4 hours. After leaving, we ate the meal included in the package – you can choose between a hot pot restaurant or a fish head restaurant. We chose hot pot, and the two pots were more than enough for two people. Parking was 15 for one visit.

A bit old, but otherwise pretty good. **Location:** There's an indoor walkway directly to the hot springs. They offer a shuttle to Nanshan Bamboo Sea every half hour. It's only a five-minute drive, and then another five-minute walk to the scenic area entrance. The best part is unlimited free entry and exit during your stay. **Service:** Most of the staff are quite good, enthusiastic and professional. A small number, well, they're just doing their jobs, can't really say they're bad. **Dining:** The breakfast variety isn't huge, but the taste is decent. Options for takeout or eating out nearby aren't extensive, but acceptable, and available quite late. **Room:** The style and furnishings are a bit dated, but it's relatively clean. The duvet and towels felt a little damp. **Other:** There are free handicraft activities, as well as some that cost money. The hotel has a direct corridor to the hot spring reception hall, and the corridor has a vibe reminiscent of an old Sanya hotel.

Tianmu Lake Hotel is located at No. 588 Yingbin Avenue, Tianmu Lake Tourism Resort, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is a five-star hotel with Tianmu Lake in front of the hotel. The hotel has a good environment and is clean. The lake view room we stayed in faces the scenery of Tianmu Lake. The air is good. Standing on the balcony of the room, I feel comfortable looking at the landscape lake. Tianmu Lake Fisherman's Head Soup, which was first created by the catering department of Tianmu Lake Hotel, is a major feature of the hotel. This time I came here to taste it. The fisherman's head soup tastes good, and I also tasted other varieties of dishes. The restaurant waiters are thoughtful and worthy of praise. The self-service breakfast restaurant in the hotel has a good environment, facing Tianmu Lake, with a variety of breakfast varieties, and Western-style snacks are worth tasting. The waiters are enthusiastic and caring for the elderly and help them deliver meals to the table, which is worthy of praise.

I was captivated by the Hantian Hotel while on a boat tour of Tianmu Lake. As we drove through the scenic area, crossing bridges and admiring the beautiful surroundings, I was completely enchanted by this 5A-rated attraction. The lobby is on the sixth floor, nestled against the mountains and overlooking the water, with lush greenery everywhere. There are lakeside paths and a 'Cloud Top Teahouse,' and a semi-mountain open-air hot spring. The area also boasts numerous amenities suitable for both the elderly and children. It's truly a wonderful place for family gatherings and relaxation.

No one guided me on where to park when I arrived at the hotel, let alone helped me with the car door. I had a lot of luggage, and there was no one to help me carry it, nor was there a luggage cart. The service in this regard was lacking. Perhaps it's because there aren't many guests, so they can't justify the expense. In the evening, the front desk wasn't very welcoming. There was only one person at the front desk staring at the computer. When I asked where I could get a late-night snack, she didn't even look up when she told me. It felt quite unwelcoming. To be fair, though, the breakfast was good.

The hotel environment is exceptionally good. Room facilities: almost everything you need is available, and the hygiene is very well maintained. The sheets and duvet covers were neatly arranged, and bottled water was complimentary. The bathroom is genuinely spacious! The hotel also provides special children's toilet seats, high chairs, and small stuffed animals. The service is also excellent; there's a shuttle bus service everywhere you need to go. The internal facilities are comprehensive, and the environment is truly wonderful.

I chose to stay at the Liyang Marriott for a short getaway this time, and the overall experience was fantastic. The room was clean and spacious, the bedding was extremely comfortable, and the surrounding area made getting around and shopping very convenient. During check-in, I was assisted by Vivian, who was patient, prompt in her responses, and properly took care of all my inquiries. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, including quite a few local Liyang specialties. The entire stay was relaxing and quiet. I will definitely prioritize staying here again next time I visit Liyang. Highly recommended.

The inn room was really basic and tiny; there was nowhere to put my luggage, so it just sat on the floor. It's a world apart from Yao Lake Town, which I visited before. I arrived around 3 PM on January 1st, thinking I could explore and enjoy until midnight, but there wasn't much going on, and by 9:30 PM, there was nothing left to do. I returned to this so-called inn for a rather dull New Year's Day, only to find another cramped space with rough, gray walls. For over 700 yuan, it didn't even offer a sense of comfort or a cozy place to rest. I thought staying at a scenic area hotel would save me the trouble of driving late at night, but it turned out to be a complete waste of time. I truly felt ripped off on the very first day of 2026. Oriental Salt Lake City is definitely not worth a visit. In the end, I decided not to stay and just drove home instead.
