Spa Hotels in Lijiang

We had a lovely stay at Jinmao Purelax Lijiang, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. We were there during early June. The view from the room was amazing. It was wonderful to wake up to the Yu Long Snow Mountain every morning with a cool breeze. Breakfast was a good spread of traditional Chinese fare and international staples. We look forward to having good breakfasts every morning. The staff even packed for us breakfast when we departed earlier than the breakfast time for our day tour of Yu Long Snow Mountain. While overall, it was a good experience, there were some quirks, that we felt were slightly below our expectations befitting a Hyatt branded hotel. There wasn’t a proper mini fridge. We had to request for one. And it was not functioning properly - we eventually had to ask the staff to keep our medical items with their staff who delivered to our doorstep upon request, promptly. The air-conditioning was also controlled centrally and we could not adjust the temperature despite having a controller in our room. We were advised by the staff to keep the netted balcony doors open to let the fresh air in. But it was not possible when we sleep due to the bright light and the room was warm. The other freebies made up for the overall experience at Jinmao. We had a wonderful complimentary photoshoot at Bo Jue Travel Photography studio which was conveniently located within the hotel’s premises. The staff there were friendly, professional and made the photo shoot fun and enjoyable. We upgraded the package as the photographers and DI artists made fantastic work in double quick time. We also had a complimentary Pu’ Er Tea tasting session where we were greeted by a warm and attentive lady, Ah Qing. She was a great conversationalist and we enjoyed her company. We also checked out other features like the petting zoo, indoor swimming pool and the sauna. There are also many family friendly activities to participate in - there are plenty of opportunities to play within the premises! Jinmao Purelax Lijiang may not be the shiniest and newest hotel but this grand dame is a wonderful place for folks of all ages to play, relax and soak in the sights of what Lijiang has to offer.

The welcome fruit plate is so healthy and delicious . We were surprised by the spectacular view of YuLong Snow Mountain right in front of the room. The room is so spacious that we laid down two large and one small luggage without any movement issue. Also not to mention about interior design is so cosy and comfortable. Instant hot water during shower, sufficient number of power socket, smart toilet bowl and self service free laundry machines were available for our need. This hotel also serve healthy, balance diet and Yunan caffe for breakfast. We thank you to front desk manager, Miss Xiao for her best efforts and arrangements. This is the best hotel in Lijiang that we stay so far. I strongly recommend to visitor that plan to have a short stay in Lijiang and wanted to go other places in the next morning.

The hotel is located in convenient location and it is very clean and spacious. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, especially Anna. The breakfast is tasty with many options. Highly recommend to this one!

Lijiang InterContinental is one of the top hotels where everyone wants to stay. I won't repeat what others have already complemented. Instead, I'd like to emphasize how much I loved the sauna near the indoor pool. After more than 10 days of trekking in Lijiang and Shangri-La, where the sun is strong and the air is dry, my skin and respiratory system became very dry, so I was really worried. Then I found the steam sauna and stayed there for about 2 hours. It moisturized my skin and helped my muscles relax. It was like a heaven. I would highly recommend others to stay there towards the end of their trip, if they can. 😊

We had a great stay at the hotel. The hotel is located near the top of the Lion's Hill and enjoys a panoramic view over the city. It is perfect for those with a car or those looking for easy access for taxis. It's a nice walk down along the cobblestone paths to the ancient town but be prepared for slightly more challenging walk back up. What really sets this hotel apart is the hotel staff. In particular, special thanks to the two gentlemen at the reception and to our butler Jiao Jiao (娇娇). She thoughtfully prepared a breakfast pack for us when we had early starts on day tours and had to miss our breakfasts. She also very kindly helped me deal with some issues on my WeChat app, even though it was her rest day. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay both of which were clean and beautifully appointed. Any issues with the rooms (such as with the lamps) were promptly looked into and resolved by the staff.

Great place to stay in Lijiang. It is located in Shuhe area which I very much prefer than Lijiang old town.it is of walkable distance to Shuhe old town. We got lucky and got upgraded to get to see the Mountain View of 玉龙雪山 for our three nights there. We also joined their tour package to visit 玉龙雪山 and had a great time. Part of the reason of wanting to stay at Banyan Tree is cause I want to support a home grown brand and staying there made me felt that I made a right choice to do so. The hotel has other activities during the day and it's fun to join in e.g the Naxi prayers and traditional costumes photography. The hotel grounds is full of flowers and trees too.

It’s my first time booking a room with Ctrip, what a surprise! It was already midnight when we arrived at the hotel, and the boss personally picked us up. The service was really good, and the people were nice... You can book breakfast with the hotel, but I didn't contact the boss to book it because I woke up late. There is a parking lot next to the hotel, which is very convenient and much more convenient than living in the ancient city. The most important thing is quietness. It is so important to have a good sleep with children! The room has a sauna and a bath, which is beyond your imagination. Isn't this a perfect travel companion? It is really suitable for a family or friends to travel together! ! In fact, I have been to Lijiang more than ten times, and each time I have experienced different accommodations. I rarely come back again, but this time will be an exception! ! Recommended

I felt really sad to leave this place. The accommodation was amazing from the moment we stepped in. The front desk area already offers so much. The pets for the kids to play and roaming free is an experience. We were about to book intercontinental but I’m so glad that I did not! Our stay here was amazing, the room decor and bathroom. The beds were comfortable, shower and toilets were clean and very luxurious. The rooftop breakfast area by the pool, is a sight to see always looking over at the Yulong mountain. I think the accommodation tried its best to give the guests the best possible experience of Lijiang from its location, as much fun as the whole family enjoyed it, we are very sad to leave. Lijiang is magical, and Paralloge enhanced it for us. It’s in a quieter area of the ancient town, but it seemed the most convenient to get to with luggage and by ourselves. Although we did not have to take the luggage, we had a butler to help take it for us and communicating with us and helping us with whatever we needed at all times. Our friend who was at breakfast and afternoon tea who spoke really good English, very helpful and nice to have a chat with. It’s not hard to communicate with anyone. Everyone was lovely and smiling always. I could go on about every moment we loved, but it would be an essay. We will come again ♥️

This stay made us feel truly at home. Whether it is the hardware facilities or the service quality, they are impeccable, the service is thoughtful and warm, especially the service of the business center, I recommend staying here👍

The value for money at Li Family Courtyard is superb, and the butler's pick-up service is free. Compared with the B&Bs in the ancient city, it is convenient, clean, and well-lit. Watching the lights of the ancient city from the terrace at night is much more worthwhile than staying in a popular hotel. I recommend it to everyone!
