Sokcho Padosori Pension (Private Terrace) Reviews

Perfect location, excellent view...especially the sunrise, and the continuous sound of waves!

Great location, 15 min walk from Bus Terminal and buses to Seoraksan park, rooms facing sea and a small island, nice terrace, huge rooms with everything one can wish for. The only issue for me as a foreigner was that the pension catered only to Korean tourists as all signs were in Korean language that complicated finding the reception (it is in level 2, and you have to ring a bell to a room - likely before check-in time nobody will open). The owner, although a friendly lady, doesn't speak English and it took me long time to communicate my need to leave a backpack in the corridor before heading out for hike. I was offered to drop it in my room at once, which was super nice.

Pretty near the bus terminal, view is as promised! There’s a nice cleaning lady which I believe is the owner who’s real sweet and helpful too! Room was nice and good enough for one. Just that checking-in was a little confusing as not sure where to head to as there were not staff around. Small thing also is that while heading to the second level, there was a pee smell at the corridor…but other than that it was a great place to stay at for the view! 👍🏻

The Padasori Pension was all that I hoped it would be - quiet, comfortable and with a great sea vibe. The room was spacious for two people and the kitchen facilities enabled us to prepared evening meals if we wished to. It was close to convenience stores and within walking distance to the express bus terminal and Emart. The host, while not speaking English, was obliging and provided for all our needs. A busy lady cleaning all those rooms! The only issue for some people would be the small bath towels (which are quite common in Korea).

From the location to the ocean view, it’s perfect. Although the exterior and facilities look a bit old, the cleanliness was not inconvenient. In particular, the bedding was much better than I expected. There was no elevator, but it was worth going up and down the stairs. I think it would be difficult to have a barbecue because it was winter. The heating was great, the water pressure was especially good, and the hot water pouring out was great. In conclusion, it was a good value pension ❤️ I stayed for 2 nights over the weekend and it was a decent pension. It was only a one-night stay, so it was good enough. I'm 100% willing to use it again next time. It's within walking distance of Sokcho I.

The boss is really kind. The facilities are also good. The best thing is the wonderful view from the individual terrace! I want to come again next time ^^ Try it once ^^

I gave my parents a pension as a holiday gift, and they said they liked it^^

The view is so pretty. As soon as you walk in, you can see the sea, but it feels like you are floating in the sea. It was room 202, but there was a streetlight that interfered with taking pictures. The boiler and air conditioner worked well, and the barbecue was prepared very well and was very kind!! I plan to go again in the summer>_< Above all, the bed is soft and the fabric softener smells so good, so I had a good time!!

- It's good because it's close to Sokcho Beach! It would be noisy if it was too close, but it was quiet and good because it was a reasonable distance. - When you wake up in the morning, you can immediately see the sunrise from the sea~ - The sink and tableware were all neat, and the refrigerator was big, and it was nice to have cups and wine glasses. -Had a good rest~ I want to visit again next time I come to Sokcho~ - I didn't bring disposable items (razors) hehe... Toothbrush and razor were not provided in the room!

The location was too short.

It was very clean inside and out, and the beach was right in front of it.

It's the worst. I don't know why they serve like that.
