great location, nice room but the only downside is that Pool closes at 7pm everyday. How can we enjoy the amenities if it closes that early?

Perfect location! Easy to access even with kids. Buffet breakfast has a large range of choices.

Convenient location with the MRT and buses within walking distance. Plenty of food options around. Hotel is nice and clean. The dinner buffet has a good selection of food. Just that the swimming pool is a little too small.

Bell service was bad. Delivered wrong luggage to my room and caused me to find my luggage in storage area

Hotel is spacious and clean. We managed to get a free upgrade upon checking in when there are no double beds available on a Saturday afternoon. We managed to get a quiet room in the corner. Here to celebrate my birthday, but have to call a few times before our call gets answered. The complimentary cake was sent up upon our second call after 30 mins of wait. Perhaps it’s a weekend & the staff were busy. To be fair, the time allocated to send the cake was 5-7pm but we were too hungry and went out to explore and came back at about 7.35pm. As we booked our stay via Trip, check out was hassle free. Location wise, it is really convenient as it is just opposite Chjmes and Raffles City and in between Bras Basar stations and City Hall Station. All within 5 mins walking distance. It’s a nice hotel to unwind and relax as the beds were comfy with ample pillows. I was well rested.

In short, it was booked online. It’s a bit old, so I don’t expect much. As long as there are no issues with the bathroom, it’s fine.

Prime location at Tanjong Pagar. Easy to travel to CBD and main attractions. hotel is clean and neat

I stayed in this hotel many many years ago but then the hotel was not the same as now. It is so much improved with the rooms, food and service. Will return to stay here again on my next visit.

The room above mine was making loud noise at midnight of my second night stay I called the reception to look into it but no action was taken as the noise continues till 1:30pm The loud noise started at 1am on my third night and again no action was taken I understood that the noise was caused by the occupant but the hotel should try harder to resolve the issue

This is my third visit to the Carlton Hotel Singapore. Location is perfect. Very convenient to get around the country.  the rooms have been aged for quite a while, but considering that is Singapore I think it’s quite OK.  The price fluctuates a lot during the year because the last time I booked I paid close to 350 Singapore dollar for one room one night this time I only paid around 200 so the price can be double times more expensive depending on when you’re visiting the country.
