We stayed at the hotel to attend a wedding a few minutes away. Hotel staff were generally friendly and helpful. The welcome is warm, though the individual standing guard at the gate could be a little more friendly. The hotel property is spacious and has a great view of the Taal lake, with the obligatory IG fixture on their lawn. It's obvious that the staff has experience in taking photographs of people and the scenery. Parking is ample, but not shaded. So the sun does beat down on vehicles. Best to keep the windows slightly open to let out the hot cabin air out. The hotel room is well equipped. Clean and functional. Room is well appointed. The pushbutton curtain is a welcome detail. Half finished renovations have marred the view from the balcony, but if doesn't totally ruin the overall experience. Noise suppression is a problem, as you can hear echoes from the lobby quite easily. The card receptacle was either disconnected or not working, as it did not shut off the electronics when the card is removed. TV viewing is juggling with two separate remotes instead of a universal one. No compendium in the room. Bathroom is clean and equipped with amenities. The Bathtub drain mechanism though needs to be attended to. Hot water is not as much as desired, but it does serve its purpose. WIFI in the room and around the hotel are not the greatest, for casual surfing and social media postings it's ok. Breakfast was ok, with the usual fair you find at other hotel properties. Pancakes could be better. The offerings didn't feature much local specialties. It would be good if the coffee is what Batangas was famous for. Sugar substitutes also would be nice. Waitstaff seems to not have a common theme in terms of uniform. At least they were prompt and present went needed, not dragging their feet when working. Unused furniture cluttered the corners of the dining space, making the audio equipment near the open gangway painfully out of place. The pool is beautiful. Not temperature controlled, but placed well enough to be under the sun most of the time. Not much space to go sunbathing. Clean towels are provided. Even though it's not a deep pool to begin with, there is a 'lifeguard' on duty. he could be a little more cheerful and approachable. Bathers though are in full view of the dining guests. So expect to be observed by the people inside in case you have a shapely figure. Safety signs are not that obvious. The Rules and Regulations poster could do with an update. It would be nice if the room had a compilation of literature that would recommend places to go to, places to eat nearby. A local map even. The hotel needs to clean up in terms of polish.

It was our first time here and will definitely come back. The place is relaxing. Some of the staff are nice and friendly some are not. The room we booked is spacious can fit more than 2 people. The only downside is the amenities and breakfast buffet. Food varieties is not worth the price. Nothing much to do inside Anya but if you're looking for a chill place and have a quiet conversation this is a place for you. Hoping the next time they will add more amenities like sauna and other activities to do inside.

I was staying for two nights in Tagaytay for a bit of a rest and to check out the Alternative Summer Capital of the Philippines as a possible place for retirement: Baguio is the official summer capital, but is a long drive north from Manila. The hotel has a good location on top of a ridge with views of Taal Lake and there is a shopping mall with restaurants on the other side of the road: best access is via pedestrian bridge, as the road is very busy. There are plenty of other restaurants within walking distance on both sides of the road. My room had two double beds (which was different I guess…lol) and an ensuite. The bed was comfortable enough, but there were brackets at the base (presumably for connecting another bed) which were savage ankle traps when returning from a nocturnal trip to the bathroom: I was rolling around in agony and probably exhausted my considerable vocabulary of swear words…hope there was no-one in the room next door! The bathroom was very average and the shower head / bottom spout setup was of a type I’d not encountered before: if you want to use the shower head you have to grab the nozzle of the bottom spout, then pull and twist. It was apparently faulty as after two tries they replaced the entire bottom spout, but it was still very difficult to use. The free WIFI was almost non-existent: I could not get a signal in my room and the only way to get a signal was to either stand in the doorway of my room, or sit at the table in the corridor…and speaking of the corridors, has anyone seen the movie The Shining? The corridors had an eery feeling and other reviews have made similar comments about being reminded of that film…lol The hotel was clean and pleasant enough, but a bit dated and could do with a refurbishment. I was entitled to free breakfasts for which I was grateful…local dishes, so it may not suit some Western tastes. There was a swimming pool, but it was too cold and windy to use. Staff were great!

Overall experience was great and meaningful. First, the staff were all accommodating. From the reception down to the room service attendants, everyone always greeted you with a smile and you can feel the positive disposition. The room was kept very orderly and my special request was granted. They did come up with a nicely done birthday themed decoration for my partner and kid. The complimentary cupcake with greeting was a really nice gesture. This hotel had a huge area that featured facilities to cater to different interests. I like the thought of visiting and feeding the animals at the Farm and the outdoor playground provided a good spot for my little daughter to run around and explore nature. There was an indoor playground too, which was very useful because it also rained the next day and we couldn't afford to expose my kid to the weather. There were 2 pool areas, and I like the thought of the kiddie pools with heaters, since the cold breeze was giving us the shivers. My little one was able to enjoy the dip in the water (also props to the staff who helped inflate the pool toy :)) The buffet breakfast didn't have that many selections, however, the quality of the food was superb. I like their Filipino breakfast lineup of chicken adobo, tocino, danggit and fried rice. The salad bar was also pretty decent with their selections of garnish and dressing.
In other words, I wouldn't mind a second visit. Highly recommended!

Just checked out from a stay at the One Ta***tay Place Hotel. This place had its contrasts, so it's difficult to give a simple good or bad verdict.
Firstly, let's commend the staff. Their service was top-notch – always available, ready to help, and maintaining a positive attitude at all times. We had inquiries and requests that were accommodated promptly and efficiently. They are genuinely an asset to this establishment.
On the other side of the spectrum were the amenities and the room. It seems that the hotel could benefit from some much-needed refurbishments. Signs of wear were noticeable in the room furnishings and certain areas in the hotel. They weren’t a deal-breaker, but they did detract from the overall impression.
Another plus side of One Ta***tay Place: its location. It's perfectly nestled close to the most scenic vistas Ta***tay offers. Its proximity to major attractions is a bonus and is something that future guests would definitely appreciate.
In conclusion, One Ta***tay Place might not be a picture-perfect stay but it offers a decent, service-oriented experience, and uses its location to great advantage. A few upgrades could definitely elevate the guest experience.
Would I come back? Yes, though I do hope to see some improvements next time around. For the price, service, and location, it's still a considerably good deal.

We booked our overnight stay at the last minute (since our usual go-to places in Tagaytay were fully booked) and we didn’t regret it. Got the family suite for our family of eight (includes three kids below 10 years) and it was good for all of us. The hotel staff, especially Mike, the manager, and Norman were very kind and accommodating. They briefed us well and gave us lots of tips so we didn’t mind it at all that there was limited service after 10pm. Room and interiors of the hotel are very creatively designed - actually inspired us to recycle wine bottles and cardboard into home decor. Location worked for us too - it’s not along the busy main road of Tagaytay but very near the highway. It gave us a semblance of being hidden away which we liked very much. It’s also right behind Aozora, the popular Jap resto in Tagaytay, so that was a big plus (easy access to great food). We’re quite happy with our serendipitous find and we’d gladly return with more friends and family. Thank you to the team of Containers by Eco Hotels!

Location of this place is very accessible to communting, walking distance to the mall and restos and yet has a great view of the taal lake. The hotel's design is very simple. I believe they only have 16 rooms on a 3-floor building. The 3rd floor is a roofdeck overlooking the Taal Lake which makes the guests' breakfast relaxing. Do not expect a hotel type buffet breakfast. It is very simple pinoy style but they serve kapeng barako which will really perk you up for the day. A cute sweet dog named Blue is a permanent resident in this place. It is a dog friendly hotel which I think why most of the staff have a very happy disposition. Chef William is very warm and accommodating. He even served me chicken tocino when the food on the buffet was running out. The room assigned to me was very small and very basic. When I say small... it is basically just a queen sized bed that occupies the 70% of the room. There are cable channels, strong wifi, bathroom heater and hotel slippers. I like their toothbrush because the handle is wooden! The hotel is eco friendly and so they do not use plastic packaging for their toiletries, they segregate wastes and they use glasses to refill drinking water. They have enough working area in the hotel lobby and on the 2nd floor. However, the area smells like really an old cabin which makes me sneeze all the time. Most guests are couples or family with either dogs or children with them. Parking in front of the hotel which is more convenient is limited. But they have also parking at the back. They allow double parking in front but it will be a hassle if the car owner in front of you leaves earlier than you are especially when you are still sleeping. They will wake you up to move your car. Generally this place is okay. The rate I got it for via Agoda is good. It is not cheap but it is just right. By the way, the hotel requires P1k cash deposit upon check in.

Excellent
GGuest UserWe reserved last year of June 2023 here to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. Supposedly to renew our vows in Tagaytay. But the Church and reception did not reply. Only this hotel replied and i adjusted my reservation because we wont be able to continue our renewal. We would like to consume the downpayment made in this hotel. Last year, no second thoughts i wanted here to have my prenup. The place is so beautiful and romantic. The staff are accommodating. We where upgraded to a Premier Rooom with balcony. The stay has plated breakfast you should try the longanisa. They have a small cute chapel we had pur short prayer to thank the Lord in having our 10th Year Wedding Anniversary. All in all this hotel is so memorable to us.
GGuest UserSecond time to stay because my son likes this place so much. Infinity pool overlooks Taal volcano, though not heated which can be a challenge since it ia generally cold in Ta***tay. Staff service is excellent. Lobby is spacious and rooms are accessible via elevator. Check in/out are reasonably fast. Room is reasonably proportioned but my one complaint is the very poor lighting inside that you cannot even see yourself properly in the mirror. They also skimp a bit on toiletries. Shampoos/shower gels are placed in containers which can be easily accessed so if previous guests are unkempt its contents may be questionable. No in-room dining but hotel is close to many restaurants and there is Grab food/Food panda available at night so this was fine.
AArlene AbcedeWe stayed for a night with my parents and my little brother. It was a good experience! The hotel is very clean, the room is spacious and clean, breakfast buffet was good and have enough food selections. All in all, it was a pleasant stay for us and we’d definitely come back.
GGuest UserBooked a room on the third floor, it was a bit hard to go up, the room pillars were a bit too much, the height was a bit short, the tall people were easy to hit their heads, the health was quite clean, the big terrace was very good, it was also booked for the terrace, a little disappointing It was a few days to rain every day, and the experience was a bit discounted. It’s cold, oh yes, I went to New Year’s Eve with my friends, I didn’t book a room on New Year’s Day 😂
Llarahcroft16Stay with our family to celebrate fathers day.
The villas are far from the parking area, but it is big and with mountain view. Hence the insects re attracted to the lights so you cant stay at the balcony for long , brcause of the insects. Overall its okay!
VVinaVanessaHere's an elaborate review based on your stay at Taal Vista Hotel:
**Hotel Review: Taal Vista Hotel (Stay Date: January 4-5)**
My recent stay at Taal Vista Hotel was a blend of elegance and family-friendly amenities, though not without a few quirks.
Pros:
1. **Elegant Ambiance:** Taal Vista Hotel exudes elegance, especially with its grand architecture and beautifully maintained grounds. The back of the hotel features a spacious area perfect for strolling and playing, with breathtaking views of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano.
2. **Family-Oriented:** This hotel is a haven for families. The expansive lawn provides ample space for children to run and play.
3. **Wide Parking Space:** Ample parking space makes it convenient for guests arriving with their vehicles.
4. **Breakfast Buffet:** Though the breakfast buffet had limited choices, every dish served was delicious and satisfying.
**Cons:**
1. **Unheated Pool:** Unfortunately, the pool is unheated, which might be a downside for those looking to take a dip in colder weather.
2. **Outdated Room:** The room we stayed in felt quite old and outdated. The chair and sofa had tacky covers, likely because they were really old.
3. **Towel Availability:** Surprisingly, there were no towels in our room upon arrival. We had to request them, which was quite disappointing considering this is a 5-star hotel.
In conclusion, Taal Vista Hotel offers a beautiful and serene environment, ideal for families, but could use some updates in the rooms and better attention to detail in terms of amenities like towels.
Rrenzie22✅ we went there via commute, the place is accessible and easy to find. ✅ staff are friendly and attentive ✅ hair dryer by request ✅ we tried the other resto, bella ciao, a bit pricey but at least their food was decent. ❎ very small room. feels like im staying at a motel. i requested for a room with balcony. the balcony was very small and has a view of i dont know how to describe it. ❎ the hotel resto, organico gourmet, is meh . we ate there upon checking in, my bbq tasted ok and tender. but on the other order, meat was very hard. there are items on the menu that were not available. the coffee is just sad. oh God why!? ❎ a father and son was stucked at the elevator when there was a power outage. they have a generator but i didnt feel the sense of urgency to help them get out of the elevator asap. i felt sorry for them esp for the toddler as he seemed traumatized by what happened and he kept on crying ❎ pool was small and not heated (considering it's location) but it was ok. until it got very crowded because it is shared with the tenants from the residential area (some rented it out as guests). i hope you do something about it. may be have a different pool exclusive for hotel guests only. shower area was far from the pool, doesn't have any written directions as to where it was. so some just went straight into the pool without showering first. it was also very slippery, so i suggest you put something on the floor to prevent accidents. the area behind the glass of the pool was very dirty . not enough resting area or tables and chairs where we can put our things. ❎ since there was no towel exclusive for pool use, we had to bring our towel from our room. i called front desk to ask for a new towel since the other one was soaked already because we used it to dry ourselves from the pool. they are charging 50pesos for an extra towel. i mean really? overall, it was a bit expensive hotel but the experience didn't match the price. sorry but i will never go back and will not recommend it to anyone.
GGuest UserWe had a great time at Lee Boutique Hotel. We got the room for an online promo and here's a summary of our stay here: Upon arrival we were asked to scan a QR code for registration. A ₱2000 deposit was requested and they will give you a small paper to be presented upon check out. So don't forget to bring extra cash for the deposit. Location: 4/5 Hotel is just a few kilometers away from the rotunda. No view of Taal. Easy to access if travelling by car. Although there are tricycles everywhere so it's easy for commuters as well. Room: 5/5 What you see is what you get. We were honestly expecting a smaller room or something different but when we entered our room it was really spacious. The room didn't have any distinct smells. Complete with minibar, closet, tv, dining table, couch, electric kettle, bottled water, and instant coffee. Bathroom amenities include 2 dental kits, bar soap, shower gel, and shampoo. Our bathroom had a minor engineering concern but that can be forgiven. Cleanliness: 4.5/5 As part of the Hygiene Industry, we rarely rate a room 5 stars. It's not about how much chemicals you use, it's about making the guest feel and see that the room is clean. When you're a traveller and you enter a room, you just know that it's clean. Plus points for segregated trash bins (bio/non bio/hazardous). Staff: 5/5 Hotel staff are very friendly and accomodating.
GGuest Userused to be called the bali village hotel, the new name is more apt and trendy. we stayed here for 5D/4N for a workshop conducted by our agency. we were billeted in rooms situated in north and south wings. ours was in south wing with defective electronic lock and so we were provided with a key to manually open it. our room smells nice, well lit, speedy internet connectivity, good bathroom amenities but lacks hooks inside to hang our towel & clothes. food was adequate and tastes alright. enough to actually bust our hunger and thirst. no hot tea, though. only coffee was the hot beverage available. parking was ample and the rich vegetation served as natural fence that protects trespassers from reaching in. swimming pool was not enticing enough to make us swim. nice ambiance, though.
JJ*y A****nNice location, Nice view.. Sky Ranch and a Robinsons Supermarket is nearby but if you want to eat out in local restaurants there are also a lot nearby.
