Longsheng Hotels with Airport Shuttle

What a gem! A central location in the Dazhai village to be able to fully enjoy the Longji rice villages. Balcony view kept you connected with the village while relaxing in your room. Instant hot water for the shower and nice connected bathroom. The owners of the hotel were very accommodating and were able to answer all of our questions with kindness. On our way in and out we were taken by car, although walking from the parking lot to the hotel is also a quick option. Finally, we ordered dinner in the room the last evening and were surprised by how well the food was made and also the large portions served. No complaints!

As soon as I entered the room, I was amazed by the terraced fields in the room. The landlord cooked delicious food and the rice wine was delicious. The children kept thinking about it. He also told me the tips on how to avoid pitfalls when taking taxis. The room was upgraded the next day. The room was well designed. The children had a lot of fun. The photos taken in the room were so beautiful. I will stay at this hotel again next time.

This was a local hotel that was situated on a peak facing Jinfoding (Golden Buddha Peak), so note it’s not on Jinfoding itself but still in the same area of Jinkeng Dazhai. I hired a driver via the hotel to fetch me from Guilin Airport to the hotel. Journey took about 3 hours using local roads, if you can somehow negotiate with your driver to take the expressway from the airport, it will be about an hour shorter and less scenic but also less nauseating. Access to hotel is pretty limited unless you hire a driver or you drive. If you take the bus from Guilin downtown/Airport, it will only alight you at the Dazhai parking lot, and you still need to make transport arrangements to get to the hotel within the scenic area (anywhere between 20-40min drive) but the boss is helpful and very contactable (phone call or wechat). I wouldn’t recommend walking to the hotel cos it is situated at the top of a pretty steep hill and it is a one-car lane that goes both ways with many blind spots. At the hotel, you could choose to walk and hike the terraces to other viewpoints in Jinkeng, but note that the routes will be very long and exhausting. If you plan to visit other villages like Ping An Zhai, it’s about an hour’s drive away on mountain roads, and it’s best if you hire a driver as well. Overall, room was very clean and spacious and was true to trip.com description and pictures. Very comfortable, clean and scenic stay! Shower and toilet are separate and clean. There’s a bathtub situated right behind the bed, they provided disposable bathtub liner if you want to use it. Hotel is situated near one of the viewpoints in Jinkeng, but it was very misty on the day I hiked. From what I could make out through the mist, the views seem pretty epic. View from the room is great and the boss provided a welcome sweet rice wine drink with lunch which was great! The boss gave me some luohanguo as a souvenir when I checked out! Did I also mention, breakfast provided included a jar of fresh warm soy milk and a delicious bowl of rice noodles made to order! Will stay again in future!

The location on the hill and the view of the surrounding slopes with the rice terraces are stunning. The rooms are clean, spacious and boast a huge window front and a balcony with a beautiful view opening onto the surrounding. There is a nice walk along the rice terraces that starts only 100m uphill from the hotel.  The hotel is run by a family, the host was very kind and attentive. They offer  a hearty local breakfast and a delicious dinner that we ate on the terrace enjoying the calm of the evening. We fell asleep to the sounds of frogs and cycads through an open window and were greeted by a rooster in the morning.  We can wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Wuyan Hongyun Hotel, for its excellent and peaceful location and for the friendly hosts.

Ink and Longji Homestay was one of the highlights of our trip. It’s a cozy and peaceful place nestled in a small village, far from any big city — perfect if you’re looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. The views are absolutely stunning, especially from the nearby observation decks and walking trails through the rice terraces. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They arranged a car to pick us up from Yangshuo, and the manager himself even drove us to Guilin airport — truly above and beyond! The hotel’s restaurant was also excellent, with delicious food and flexible vegetarian and vegan options. Just be aware that since the village is remote, there are no convenience stores nearby — so bring anything essential with you. We really enjoyed the peaceful walks around the area, and the staff gave us great tips for spots to explore, including a beautiful viewpoint we wouldn’t have found on our own. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Longji in comfort and with warm hospitality!

we spent one month travelling China and this stay was definitely our favourite! The rooms were very clean and we received a free upgrade and all the amenities in the room worked perfectly! It’s a family run business and the mom made the best homemade food we tried in China and the dad and son were also extremely kind and helpful! They organized a free pick up to and from the bus stop and helped us organize the tickets for the bus to Guilin. The son speaks very good english so communication was no problem and he helped with any questions we had. The location was also extremely convenient and the view was very beautiful! Definitely recommend coming here!

A great place to stay in Longji (Tiantouzhai). The staff is adorable and super helpful, they helped me with arranging carpooling, which is economical as a solo traveler. The food was delicious, try the braised potatoes with pork belly! The view from the room was nice too. The only thing that could be improved is that my bed/mattress was a bit hard, I'm used to softer beds I guess. I highly recommend this hotel!

A family ran hotel with brand new amenities and really great views of the Jinkeng village rice terraces if you book the rooms with views. We only stayed for one night but we really appreciated the warm hospitality from the host family. The food, breakfast and dinner, were both quite good. Logistically, you have to contact the hotel to pick you up from the entrance of the Jinkeng village (bottom of the cable car) then it’s only a short 5-7 mins drive from there. We called the hotel thru our driver and everything worked out smoothly. Another highlight is that from this hotel, you can trek for about 40 mins thru the village and rice terrace to get to the highest viewing platform of the Jinkeng village. It was a bit of a workout but the views along the way was really worth it. The owner will send u a detailed guide of how to get there so you won’t get lost. Overall I would highly recommend for the views and the opportunity to trek a little deeper into the village and terraces and enjoy the tranquility there.

The location of the B&B is good. In Jinkeng Village, if you walk a small road for 15m, you can reach the Thousand-layer Terrace Viewing Platform. If you go to Ping'an Village, you can hire the owner's car to take you there. The view from the B&B room is the Golden Buddha Peak. The lady boss is very polite and the dishes are delicious! You can try the bacon, bamboo chicken, and bamboo rice. They are all grown and raised at home. You can also borrow authentic Yao costumes to take photos of the terraces. It's very good. Recommended!
