Club Med Sahoro Hokkaido Reviews

We went for 5 days and 4 nights with 2 adults and 2 children. We had a great time and look forward to coming again. We arrived in the afternoon. Because of heavy snow, all JR trains were stopped that day. It was said that the road to Sahoro was closed. After getting off the plane, the staff worked very hard to help coordinate the bus to other snow villages in CM. Before we got on the bus, the road was open. Finally, we upgraded the private transfer car to pick up the two families who arrived with us. The families who traveled with us were also very friendly. We arrived at the hotel after the scheduled skiing time. The next day, we decisively booked a private lesson and skied on the same day. The ski board is really easy to get started. The children fell in love with it at once. In the next two days, we had a lot of fun with private lessons and group lessons. We completely achieved our desire to enjoy the fun of skiing. The children were reluctant to leave. There are international buffets for three meals a day all day long, and there are different theme shows every day in the evening. It is a real holiday and relaxation trip, which has given me a lot of motivation for the next work. Hahaha

80% of them are from Europe and America. The hotel is very suitable for vacation, giving people a comfortable and considerate feeling. Every staff here is very enthusiastic ❤️🔥, which makes people integrate instantly. My daughter just left and she clamored to go again next year. The hotel also hung lanterns 🏮 and decorated the stairwell specifically for the Chinese.

This is my first time to visit Clubmed in Hokkaido. During the snow season, hotels around the ski resorts in Hokkaido are ridiculously expensive. The prices in Niseko and Rusutsu are both as high as 20,000 yuan. So the cost-effectiveness of Clubmed in Sahoro is obvious! I asked and found out that the one in Hoshino is bigger and can only accommodate 500 children! This one is about 1/3 the size. This weekend happened to be a public holiday in Australia, so it was basically reserved by Aussie, but it was also very exciting. Foreigners really know how to create an atmosphere and it will never be boring. They cooperate very well with the GOs in the hotel. The GOs are also very friendly and enthusiastic. If you have any difficulties, they will help you solve them. 👍! Finally, a small tip: This Clubmed does not have a shuttle bus service from JR Shintoku Station! Although it is available on the official website, I was rejected after booking, saying that it cannot be provided and asked me to take a taxi myself. Later, when I arrived at JR Shintoku Station, the station staff will give you two local taxi numbers. After dialing through, the taxi will arrive in about 2-3 minutes. The cost for three people to the hotel is about 5,000 yen, and you can also book a return trip! Remember that your mobile phone must be able to dial this local number. There is no phone at the train station. It is much more convenient if you take CTS. The hotel has an airport pick-up service. Written at the end: MINA MINA must be booked two days in advance, otherwise it is basically full! But Dachi is not bad, three meals a day are very rich, the Bar is also great, snacks are provided all day, and there are many kinds of drinks. I only drink beer, delicious Japanese dry beer, I don’t know much about other wines, and I haven’t tried them. If you like cocktails, there should be many choices!

The snowstorm stranded us at the airport, we were not informed in advance, and we were notified until we arrived at the airport meeting counter.

The GOs are so lively, the ski instructors are also very nice, and the children's skiing experience is superb

I have stayed here many times and I really like this one-stop service hotel where I don’t have to worry about anything, buffets for three meals a day, enthusiastic ski instructors, and free high-level performances in the evening.

There is also a traditional Japanese bath and sauna in the hotel, which is quite comfortable. Furthermore, you can choose from group lessons or private lessons for skiing. I booked a private lesson on the spur of the moment, and the coach even helped take photos. Finally, there are two restaurants for food, both buffet and ordering. It's a pity that this trip is a bit short. I will leave more time next time❄️❄️❄️

Our families are trying our ski for the first time. Club Med Sahoro ski courses are structured and catered to different ski levels. The system implaced for rental of ski equipment is well thought out and executed well. The rental process is smooth, efficient and professional. Kudos to all the staff working at ski sports shop. I would like to give a big shout out to our ski instructors, Ms Alicia and Mr Daniel Li. They are patient and encouraging. It really helps to calm our nerves as 1st time skiers. They give clear instructions. They strike a good balance between offering assistance when we are really stuck and giving us the space to practice on own own to gain confidence. Overall, the ski experience is good!

We stayed at Club Med Sahoro for 7 days in March, it was our first time and we loved it! The Chef de Village (Logan) and entire GO team is great (Liam, Stefan, Maxime, Keeley, Dodo, Lilian, Deri and all the others) really helped us and our kids in every way possible. Very nice rooms, ski in ski out location. The resort had good weather (mix of suynny days and snowy ones). Highly recommended!

Most of the time the ski lifts are closed because there’s a little bit of wind. ClubMed doesn’t care and doesn’t pressure the management to do anything although they are the only resort.
