Shenzhen Dapeng New District Hotels

A great place to stay right in Dapeng Fortress if you want to experience staying in an actual historical house. We really enjoyed our 2 nights' stay at Buyan Inn. The host, Tony was very friendly and helpful and speaks excellent English. We managed to contact him through Wechat about our arrival and he walked out to meet us to show us the way to the inn when we arrived by DiDi. The inn is in the old Town but just a 1 minute walk out so it was very convenient for foreign travellers who don't have their own transportation. Buyan Inn also has a restaurant. We tried the barbecue and it was delicious. There are many snack shops in the old Town. We also wanted to try some traditional food and found a traditional restaurant where the locals go to for meals just outside the old Town, a few minutes' walk from Buyan inn. All in all, we had a very memorable stay in Buyan Inn.

We had truly lovely stay at this villa. The staff were outstanding—friendly, responsive, and always ready to assist through instant messaging, both before and during our visit. The communal spaces were spotless and well-kept, offering a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival. We especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome tea, complete with a slice of cake and fragrant Chinese tea—perfect after a long journey. The villa itself was beautifully furnished, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A sweet touch was the toy gift for our kids, which made them smile right away. We were also surprised with a complimentary warm dessert one evening—such a heartwarming gesture. We chose the rooftop room, which offered stunning views of the sea from the bungalow-style balcony. The outdoor bathtub, accompanied by a fresh bathing kit, was a delightful touch. While the unique rooftop layout adds charm and privacy, it does invite a little extra mindfulness when moving around the space—an endearing quirk that adds to the character of the experience. The shower area had a romantic ambiance, making it especially fitting for couples. Would happily return and recommend to others looking for a relaxing and well-cared-for retreat.

The location and view from the room were amazing, I saw that there was a bathtub in the image of the room I booked but it wasn't actually in the room. The guy who runs the hotel is very helpful as he helped us book a taxi back to the city, plenty of places to eat around in the area and the service was great. One thing I did not like was how they said the stay included a complementary photo session, however, we found out later that only 3 photos were free, and have to pay 30rmb each for the rest of the photos which is very unreasonable. So just take photos yourself they will be better.

Moreover, the hotel offers high-standard personalized service 24 hours a day; any requests or issues are met with patient responses, ensuring a worry-free travel photography and vacation experience. The travel photography experience completely exceeded expectations and was a major highlight of the trip. Many hotel packages directly include travel photography services, which typically consist of 5 complimentary retouched photos. Booking is very convenient – just call one day in advance. The photographers are not only highly efficient, completing a session in just 15 minutes, but they also have a knack for working with people who don't love being photographed or with energetic children, expertly guiding them to cooperate. Communication throughout is effortless, providing great emotional value. More importantly, the final photos are stunning. Leveraging the hotel's natural advantages, whether it's the tropical gardens surrounded by coconut trees, the pristine private beach with clear waters and soft sand, or the play of light at sunset, everything is captured with precision. The images are natural and realistic, offering a more atmospheric and unique feel than studio shoots. Many guests find that the free photos aren't enough to choose from and willingly pay extra for more negatives, making it excellent value for money.

The environment is very good, the stay is very pleasant, the hygiene is very clean, there is delicious afternoon tea, the breakfast arrangement is also very good, every layout is very careful and meticulous. I hope I have the opportunity to find a good weather to stay next time. It is recommended that the price is super high 👍🏽

Although it costs money, there are slow charging stations. All in all, it's very good and I'm willing to come again.

The scenery is beyond words. You will know it when you come. Choose this one. The store has considerate service. It is full of young people. Breakfast and afternoon tea are provided in the first and second pictures. It is stable to take pictures. It is better and more beautiful when it is sunny. You can park at the door. 711 is open next to it. The most beautiful sea view is right next to it. At the same time, it is very convenient to go to major scenic spots. Brought my parents to travel to the beach. The air at the beach is very good. The hotel is right by the bay. There is no beach, so you need to go to the nearby Judiaosha or Yangmeikeng. The room is in Building 2, and you need to walk up the stairs, which is not very user-friendly. The room is clean. The receptionist, Ms. Lai, is very enthusiastic and introduced some places to visit. The restaurant is in Building 1, and you can take a shuttle bus to have breakfast. Overall, I am satisfied.

The hotel rooms are spacious and you can see fireworks outside the window at night. The floral tea for afternoon tea is delicious, and there is a different floral tea every day. The children loved the fruits provided for afternoon tea, and the B&B staff cut a few extra ones for the children. My son told me that he must come back next time because the oranges here are delicious. The B&B staff were friendly and welcoming. After checking out, we saw that there was a lot of traffic back to the city, so we rested in the hotel lobby and even ordered takeout after getting permission. The B&B staff also specially made scented tea for us to drink. A very humane homestay. The only thing that could be improved is that the water pressure in the bathroom is not very stable, sometimes high and sometimes low. In addition, there is no shelf to put the replacement clothes. You have to step out of the shower screen to wash yourself or put on a bathrobe. It is easier to catch a cold when the air conditioner is on.
