The hotel was in a great spot to travelling for the gladiators filming at the arena.  Sadly the room was not great, very noisy outside from a fan, also next to a main road.  The toilet was like sitting in a prison box and very small as well as the shower.  The breakfast was also disappointed and the manager would let me have a refund which was very poor customer service.  I wouldn’t have breakfast and I probably wouldn’t stay at the hotel.

The Hotel was ideal for the Sheffield Arena. Clean and tidy and the staff were helpful and polite at all times.

I had a serious family situation which prevented me staying but the hotel wouldn’t consider overlooking the non-cancellation policy. Other hotels exercise discretion in the personal circumstances I found myself in, but the hotel manager wouldn’t budge. It’s a shame because I regularly stay… I’ll use trip.com again as their help was excellent, but I won’t stay with Ibis again in the future. Other hotels are more person centred and recognise emergency situations can impact bookings

location is quite far from city centre, and you have to walk a bit far to get to nearest tram station

The hotel was very basic, it has air condition in rooms which was a plus point, however every night the management will switch the air condition to heater mode, with the reason given was other tenants felt cold. There was completely no ventilation in our rooms, we were woken up by the heat at night and was force to get a fan from the counter.

Very close to the town centre. The lack of parking is not really up to the hotel since it’s down to the location, however. I would have liked some sort of parking discount to nearby parking spaces. Good breakfast with a wide range despite being a “Budget” hotel. I was quite happy to see that.

Very little in the way of amenities no tea or coffee making facility apart form the one at reception and the staff were om but not vert helpful and sometimes came across as rude when I asked just a general question but other than that it was a budget and simple hotel I wouldbt stay there again as its very isolated considering its in the city centre and there was no where tonget food from after a certain time which was not good. It was pet friendly but that came at a charge of 7 on top of the room rate
