Top 5-Star Hotels in Shantou

The impression was we booked 4 rooms and we got all on the same floor, adjacent to one another. The twin room bed was 4 ft size - loved it. The location was perfect, close to two shopping malls and lots of restaurants nearby. The gym and swimming pool were great too. The minus was only the air conditioner was not sufficiently cool in some of our rooms, and it couldn't go colder even we adjusted the lowest temperature.

Hotel is good with the location around 40min from downtown. Room was clean and spacious, we really liked it. Its very clean with decent breakfast. Amenities are bit outdated, like swimming pool. There are many outside guests using hotel's resources... The last thing to mention is the staff which was really great, from guards, front office, housekeeping or waiters everyone was very kind and trying to make your stay great...

My only go to Hotel in Shantou. Stayed there for at-least 6 times. Good customers focus service from staff service from bell hop , reception, housekeeping to Sheraton Club’s GROs. Especially Ms Leung , Eleven for their assistance & attention to my family. Suggest that hotel interiors need upgrading & to start upgrading soon to retain long term customers. . Definitely will be back.

We highly recommend Shantou International Hotel. The hotel room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel room has all the modern and necessary amenities. No need to bring adaptor and there is plenty USB ports. The hotel itself has many restaurants providing quality and variety. We dine at the Taichi dim sum restaurant...very nice. Hotel is 15mins from Shantou Railway station, making it convenient for those coming from high speed rail. It is within walking distance from Longyan food street and major shopping centres ie Mixc and Sunning. It is also near to tourist attractions. Most of all, we are so impressed with the staff. They are professional, proactive, helpful and warm. This is consistent throughout all levels of the staff. The reception staff even come out of the counter to help us with the Alipay app. Shantou has no subway so very important to be able to use the app to hail taxi. Thank you Shantou international hotel and especially its staff, for making our stay so comfortable and memorable 😀

My go to hotel in Shantou. An older hotel that is ageing gracefully. Great location, friendly service, lovely rooms and car parking

Hotel was previously known as Meritus, location is near 2 shopping complexes just a short 10 min walk away, only sad thing is furniture look a little tired after years without major renovation, breakfast is ok with lot of choices catering to both locals & foreigners.

Good hotel, Well maintained, Camille and Aven were helpful and knows english, Location is nice with clean rooms and all amenities in room. One advice, can add more vegetarian options in breakfast.

Staying at this hotel for the second time, first talk about the location of the hotel. There are still a lot of food and drink nearby. If you feel that the neighborhood is not very convenient, you can ride a shared battery car. The best thing about this city is that there is a shared battery car, which is very convenient to go anywhere. The room is really big. The mattress in the room is really comfortable. Not soft at all. And the service staff is very good. I also gave sugar water at night.

Great hotel, both the facilities and the professionalism of the staff, is to be praised. Services at the front desk reception is excellent and the staff are attentive and strike to provide extra assistances to guest such as helping us to purchase a traditional gift from the local market and booking taxi for ud to the rail station upon check out. Services at the breakfast area can be improved to be more polite and attentive with smiles to match the front desk. Smiling and attentiveness will bring the hotel quality to the next level of a 5 star boutique hotel.

I stayed at Shantou Queen Hotel some time ago, now I have time to share. When I first booked the hotel, I went there because of its location and architectural style. I didn't expect that the hotel's environment and decoration were also very nice. When I checked in, I was thoughtfully upgraded to a suite, which was a bit of a surprise. The room is very spacious and has a large tea table, which is very comfortable. The bedding is comfortable and the toiletries are all from Bvlgari. Good night sweet soup, hand cream and lip balm are also provided when you turn down the bed, which is a bit thoughtful. I personally pay more attention to the brand of water. In the picture... When you come out of the room to the breakfast restaurant, you can see the perfect fusion of Chaoshan cultural elements and modern luxury style everywhere, which is eye-catching. For breakfast, I chose Cantonese and Chaozhou cuisine. Although there are not many varieties, they are very exquisite and rich, especially the bowl of Chaoshan rice noodles... There is an open-air balcony outside the restaurant, where you can overlook the entire small park. The scenery is the most beautiful in the evening. You can have a few drinks there and take photos at will. In addition, several hotel staff members were very attentive and attentive. They also enthusiastically introduced me to local delicacies. It was a good first time in Shantou. The stay was great.
