Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Shantou

The hotel is clean and completely non-smoking, which I really appreciated. They offer complimentary self-service laundry, which was a huge help and saved me from having to pack too many clothes. There’s also a comfortable gym, though I do hope the hotel will consider adding dumbbells in the future. Overall, it was a great stay and I’ll definitely return!

We chose this hotel as it was near a lot of eateries. As expected, this is a fuss-free hotel with all the basic amenities that one needs for a smooth travel. Room size was generous, toilet was spacious and towels were clean. The hotel is situated directly above a wet market, so do ask for a high floor in order not to hear the pounding sounds of the butcher's knife.
