Atour Hotels in Shantou

My one-night stay at Atour in Shantou was fantastic. Firstly, the hotel boasts a superb location, incredibly close to Shantou MixC and Longyan South Road, both within easy walking distance. Breakfast was delicious, and the late-night millet porridge was a particular hit with our little one! Despite our family room window facing residential buildings, it was surprisingly quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The room itself was quite spacious, and the laundry service was truly impressive. You simply place your clothes in the designated laundry bag, and staff will wash them and return them neatly hung on your door. The front desk staff who handled our check-in were also incredibly helpful and attentive! Seeing we had a child, they even offered us complimentary breakfast. I absolutely have to visit Shantou again! What a warm and welcoming city.

We were two families traveling together, and the thoughtful front desk staff arranged our rooms on the same floor and even upgraded our room types. The family room with a king-size bed was incredibly spacious, providing ample room for our child to play. The bathroom was also very generously sized. It was very quiet with excellent soundproofing, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. A member of our family suffers from severe rhinitis, and the front desk thoughtfully provided an air purifier. The front desk staff also gave us great recommendations for local restaurants – truly authentic, long-standing establishments favored by locals.

First time to Chaoshan. 5.4 checked into Chaozhou Huaxhui Hotel, and was surprised by the result. Why was everything so bad? 5.5 checked into Atour. I can only say Atour is really my YYDs! And I ate well and slept well in Shantou. I love Shantou people so much. Everyone is so enthusiastic, super nice and friendly, whether it is the driver or the hotel lady and brother! I will come again next time

During the hot summer, I chose Atour for its free laundry service. No more worrying about smelly clothes! The washers and dryers were practically full, which goes to show how popular it is. 👏 Wherever I went, the hotel staff greeted me with warm and friendly greetings. The breakfast selection wasn't as extensive as at a five-star hotel, but it was still quite varied, with both Chinese and Western options. Shantou is known for its mosquito repellent. Even though I lit a mosquito coil on my first night, I was still woken by mosquito bites. On my second night, I sprayed my own mosquito repellent and was able to avoid any mosquitoes. I hope they can do a better job of keeping mosquitoes away.
