Location wonderful. Cars are able to drive on the street that the hotel is on so no need to drag luggage on cobblestone streets. Room is decorated in ******* style that we loved and the water heater works like it should. Staff also helped us figure out how to collect our TB parcels. The only downside is the noise that's coming from the streets at night.. it is right next to one of the main streets in dukezong, making it really hard to sleep at night without ear plugs especially if you have to keep the windows open for ventilation. Please get ear plugs for peaceful sleepm

An awesome place with a nice big courtyard. Room was basic but beautifully decorated. Like the color theme of the room. Service was good, hosts are friendly. Just outside the gucheng, ~ a min walk away

Provide complimentary costumes for 1 pax and station sending services. But room a bit stuffy with no aircon. Ask for 2 humidifier for stay. The entire place is like a royal palace. Breakfast is yummy.

Perfectly located and atmospheric hotel in Shangri-la. Rooms are extremely comfortable with all kinds of amenities and we received superb service from the Manager, Peter who provided us all kind of recommendations of things to do in the town (renting costume, ******* dinner with you, restaurants in town, drop off at the train station). Excellent hospitality that really makes a difference!

This is great. The staff there are very friendly and helpful. It is just located at 独克宗古城 inside, very convenient as only walking distance for finding food around. But, there is no door for my toilet..lol

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and the location was excellent, right on the edge of the old town but accessible by taxi/car. The hotel will be part of our happy memories of Shangrila.

Great hotel, we really enjoyed our stay, excellent location. Room was cosy, staff was very friendly and breakfast was better than expected, would recommend staying here. One downside was we had the "do not disturb" sign on and staff came in to clean and bring water anyway, good intentions but would appreciate respecting the privacy.
