Easy reach by taxi from railway station. Service attitude was good : they changed our room immediately when it was requested. Room was large and comfortable. As with many hotels in China, somehow shower stall water splashes out of stall and wet the toilet area. Also, again a problem with many hotels in China, toilets could be kept cleaner, very often due to construction fault leading to water accumulation. Breakfast was typically a Chinese style one with many choices.

Great place to stay! No complaints. Close and convenient, excellent service and breakfast!

Has a pool area with tropical plants around, but it remained closed while we were there. The hotel is a very odd design, but quirky. The interiors look old and dusty, and the rooms themselves were a little musty, though mostly clean. The room was ok, but not worth the 700 yuan we paid for it. This hotel is living in the past a little as it seems it was the only fancy government hotel in town once upon a time. It is overpriced and showing its age. No air conditioning either!

I can only repeat what the other reviews are mentioning: it’s clean, got good amenities, but everything seems a bit old. We had some WiFi issues but when it was working it was good. In general, the service wasn’t that great. We arrived tired after a long drive, no help with parking the car or the luggage. Check in was the most rigorous we had, even checking all the flight and train numbers we took. Also didn’t allow us to take a rest first. We went on a hike and wanted to take some Baozi from the breakfast - forbidden (I found that in China this is usually no problem). However, I think for the price it’s fine and while it doesn’t look like it, it’s quite clean. Also the dinner was quite good, breakfast not so much.

I stayed in the suite at this hotel. It was a great and very comfortable stay. Everything about the suite was elegant and built for comfort. The hotel has a restaurant that makes delicious Yunnan inspired dishes. The yak stew and the potato dishes were especially good. The staff was nice and friendly although language presented a barrier. (Thankfully there are translation apps.). The pool was a little weird though. It's presented more like a pond in the middle of the hotel rooms. There seems to be only one access point to the pool and there is zero seating. Its rimmed by plants and trees. Very strange. But thats the only criticism of the hotel. Everything else meets and exceeds expectations of a hotel. And its within walking distance of the old town.

Stayed at Tianjie Shenchuan Hotel, the front desk lady was very enthusiastic. The breakfast was rich, with both ******* and Han characteristics, and you can also drink authentic butter tea. The experience was good, recommended! 😎

The hotel has many rooms, good service, a large parking lot with charging stations, very suitable for self-driving trams, close to Dukezong Ancient Town and Songzanlin Temple, and rich breakfast.

A great five-star hotel, completely garden-style, with complete room settings, warm service, very rich breakfast, convenient parking, and charging piles. I will stay there again.

I stayed here again after more than ten years, and I still like it as always. The hotel pick-up service is thoughtful. I encountered a wedding of handsome ******* men and beautiful women in the hotel and felt the charm of ethnic minority culture👍

The hotel is located near the city middle school, with convenient transportation and parking. The hotel rooms are also very good. Although the facilities are old, they are also complete. The sanitary service is in place, and the front desk is also very enthusiastic when checking in. The environment is beautiful, and I like sitting by their swimming pool, which makes people feel happy.

I did a lot of research and read reviews saying that this hotel is very unique and the breakfast is very delicious. After arriving, it is really worth the money. The front desk service is warm and enthusiastic, which is really good. Only Chinese people don't cheat Chinese people. Family members can really go there. (I didn't take a picture of the breakfast, but it was really delicious)

The room layout is full of ******* characteristics, the breakfast is good, and you can eat your fill calmly. The whole building is beautiful. Convenient transportation to various attractions. Parking is quite convenient.
