It's incredibly convenient for exploring Shangri-La's various attractions, dining out, shopping, and even joining the local Guozhuang folk dances. The entire guesthouse, from the lobby to the rooms, is impeccably clean. The facilities are brand new, beautifully designed, and stylish – you'll find picture-perfect spots everywhere to snap photos for your social media. Each room is equipped with an oxygen concentrator, so those concerned about altitude sickness can book with complete peace of mind. A little oxygen at night can really help prevent headaches. The bathrooms are fully stocked with disposable toiletries, and the hot water is instant with excellent pressure – perfect for a refreshing shower after a long day of exploring. They even offer self-service laundry facilities, which is a huge convenience. While the facilities are indeed top-notch, truly living up to its 'zero negative reviews' reputation, what truly sets this guesthouse apart are the incredible hosts, the owner and his wife. Even if you haven't planned your itinerary, fear not – the landlady will meticulously arrange everything for you. She's not only an amazing cook, providing delicious meals from morning till night, but she even prepares sunflower seeds for you to feed the local squirrels! She also offers excellent recommendations for unique local restaurants, leaving you spoiled for choice. Tashi, the guesthouse's affiliated driver, was equally fantastic. He effortlessly hauled our two heavy suitcases, even at this altitude, and happily sped off, haha! All transportation costs are transparently priced with no hidden fees, so you can absolutely trust them. I really hit it off with the landlady; our conversations were always delightful. She's truly as beautiful as she is kind-hearted. Thanks to her comprehensive support, my Shangri-La trip was exceptionally smooth. My only minor regret is that I didn't get to witness the 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' this time around – but that just gives me a perfect excuse to visit again! To anyone reading this review, I wholeheartedly recommend booking this guesthouse. It's genuinely fantastic, and I'll eat my hat if I'm wrong! ^++++^

The room was spotless, and the location was super convenient, as it's situated right within the scenic area. The owner came to pick us up from the station, and understanding our tight schedule, he thoughtfully took us to visit an attraction first before heading back to the hotel. The next day, the owner's wife drove us to Panaha Sea, providing detailed explanations throughout our journey. Both the owner and his wife were incredibly warm and hospitable. We will definitely choose this hotel again for our next visit.

This place genuinely lives up to its flawless reputation. To put it simply, they've anticipated every need; there's nothing you could want that isn't already provided or attended to. As I'm quite particular about these matters, for me to give it my seal of approval means it genuinely has no faults. Facilities: Don't let the 'inn' label mislead you. The toiletries are all branded – I wouldn't have bothered lugging my own shampoo and shower gel if I'd known! They're on par with, if not superior to, those in many five-star hotels. As we use electric bidets at home, I often find that even many five-star hotels lack electric toilet seats. So, discovering they had them here was an absolute delight – it truly felt like home! Service: They offer complimentary high-speed rail station pick-up and drop-off. One evening, when I was dining in the ancient town and it started raining, the proprietress thoughtfully messaged me, offering to pick me up with an umbrella. What truly moved me was when I arrived feeling unwell due to altitude sickness; they immediately provided special medication and guided me on how to use the in-room oxygen concentrator. I felt significantly better by the next day – their attentiveness was genuinely touching. There's so much more I could say, but I can't possibly cover it all here. In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend this inn to everyone. I noticed they have many returning guests, which speaks volumes. I wish everyone a wonderful trip! Upon entering, I honestly thought this was a brand new place, only to discover it's been open for a decade! It's no wonder the service is so incredibly thoughtful and meticulous. The facilities must have all been recently updated, as everything looks sparkling new. The owner is very personable and the service is exceptional; they anticipate your every need and make thorough preparations beforehand, truly exceeding expectations. The room was also incredibly clean and comfortable. I absolutely loved my stay!
