Just wanted to add to my previous review: The in-room projector even allows access to paid, member-exclusive content on Mango TV. The owner is so generous! I'm actually worried it'll be fully booked next time I want to stay!

This hotel is perfectly situated within the ancient town. It offers parking and an electric buggy shuttle, saving you the hassle of dragging your luggage over the cobblestone paths. The location is truly excellent; if you arrive by taxi, you can get dropped off at the end of the pedestrian street (past the East Gate) and it's only about a 100-meter walk. This makes it incredibly convenient for exploring all corners of the ancient town. I'd particularly like to commend the hotel's thoughtful and user-friendly facilities. So often, guesthouses and hotels prioritize design over practicality, but this place brilliantly manages to achieve both. For example, unlike some minimalist bathrooms that lack even a basic hook for clothes, here you'll find a proper hanger. The showerhead is also a perfectly functional and pleasant one, not some overly elaborate and useless contraption. And the pillows! To my surprise, they use Atour's 'Deep Sleep' pillows. My neck has never felt so comfortable in a hotel bed; I can't praise them enough. Latex pillows truly are vastly superior to others. They even offer a Mango TV VIP subscription, a foot bath tub with herbal foot soak packets, and ensure ample oxygen supply – a thoughtful touch! Plus, disposable bathtub liners are provided. Honestly, they've thought of absolutely everything, anticipating every guest's need. I am truly, truly impressed and satisfied. As a parting gift, they even gave us yak milk candy, which absolutely thrilled my son! It's clear the owner is a local, not an outsider running a guesthouse, which adds to the authentic charm. I wholeheartedly wish them great success and a prosperous business!

The Old Town has really seen a boom in new guesthouses this year. This particular one boasts an excellent location, less than 200 meters from the Moonlight Square underground parking, which is super convenient if you're driving. It's situated right within the ancient city, very close to Dafo Temple, and surrounded by countless restaurants, making dining out or ordering takeout incredibly easy. We booked a suite on the third floor. The room was very spacious and featured a terrace with stunning views of both Dafo Temple and Baiji Temple. It came equipped with modern amenities like electric curtains, a smart toilet, and underfloor heating. As for potential drawbacks: 1) There are other guesthouses under construction nearby, so there was some noticeable construction noise. 2) Being on the third (top) floor, the room could get a bit warm on sunny days due to direct sunlight.

The room was spacious and bright, equipped with smart home features, and the hotel's ambiance was serene and inviting. The owner was incredibly warm and hospitable, making us feel right at home. The 'Lagom, Hygge | Art Life' Idlesse afternoon tea was delicious and exquisitely presented, and breakfast was even more impressive! Overall, it was a truly delightful experience, and I highly recommend booking a stay here.

Hands down the best hotel we stayed at during our Yunnan trip! 1. The price was very reasonable, the rooms were spacious, and I loved the decor. 2. The facilities were very modern, and they even provided oxygen supply equipment. 3. They really paid attention to the details: disinfected shower slippers, disposable bath towels, complimentary drinks, welcome fruit, and even a ******* herbal foot soak. 4. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. 5. They offer convenient pick-up and drop-off services. 6. The location is superb – right at an entrance to the Old Town and just a short walk from the Guishan Park Prayer Wheel.
