Hands down, this is the best hotel I've stayed at since arriving in Yunnan. The hotel's decor and design are clearly well-thought-out, and the service is excellent as well. But what truly stood out to me, and was a pleasant surprise, was the provision of disposable toilet seat covers. Rooms are also equipped with a fridge, and each guest receives a complimentary fruit platter upon arrival.

The service was absolutely fantastic. The staff proactively helped with our luggage, assisted with parking, and even upgraded us to a superior room type when available, plus provided complimentary fruit. This was particularly thoughtful as we had a long drive ahead when we checked out.
**Room Facilities:** The room was very spacious, new, and spotless. It was equipped with an oxygen concentrator and humidifier, which is perfect for anyone experiencing mild altitude sickness. P.S. The hairdryer was the most powerful I've encountered in any hotel during my Yunnan trip – it actually dries your hair completely!
**Location & Transportation:** The hotel is very close to Dukezong Ancient City, and ordering food delivery was also super convenient.
**Breakfast:** The breakfast was both delicious and beautifully presented.

Upon our arrival in Shangri-La, the hosts picked us up and took us to the guesthouse. Overall, the guesthouse's service and environment exceeded our expectations. The indoor floor heating and oxygen supply were excellent, so we didn't have to worry about altitude sickness or getting cold at night. Another bonus was that the TVs came with streaming service subscriptions, something I've never encountered when traveling in other provinces. Perhaps it's because I haven't stayed in many guesthouses before. The guesthouse breakfast, which was rice noodles, was also quite delicious. The host even helped us with itinerary recommendations, making the service incredibly thoughtful. Shangri-La itself is beautiful and definitely worth a visit.

The hotel's ambiance is truly exceptional, as the pictures clearly show. They provide fresh fruit daily. The front desk staff (especially the young lady) was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Other staff members also greeted us warmly and offered recommendations for local attractions without any sales pressure; it was entirely our choice. Our stay was very comfortable. Overall, everything was excellent! What's more, they even offer complimentary shuttle service! If I ever return to Shangri-La, I would definitely choose to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was a nice start to the day, and the hotel even offered fresh fruit every day, which was a lovely touch. Having a lift made things more convenient, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the north gate of Dukezong Ancient Town, making it super easy to explore. Overall, it felt like a lovely base for our trip and we left with a really good impression. Special thanks to our tall male butler hotel staff, his service is commendable. And thank you to all the lovely hotel staff there.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is super clean and comfortable. It was only a short 5 min walk away from the Dukezong Guzheng. Would recommend!

Hotel is great , good location , service was 5 star from staff . I like the deco , from my opinion the interior designer of the hotel probably a man with no vanity mirror for ladies to make up. One of staff introduced me a driver but that driver ruined our holiday at Shangri La ! We paid driver 1100 yuan pick up from Lijiang hotel to Shangri La hotel for 6 seater car , 600 yuan for 1 day tour at Shangrila . Driver was dishonest , want to bring us to his restaurant to eat so he can get commission but we declined ! Driver was unhappy that we want to go to the restaurants we chooses from XHS ! He scared us by his driving skills , cut his driving time short by giving a lot of excuses ! Saying the places we want to visit is far but the truth is only 15 minutes drive away from gaode map . He is the worst driver I had in my life where I have traveled to 91 countries and counting !!!
