Shanghai Pudong New Area Hotels

The hotel was very clean and we had an amazing stay. The highlight of the stay aside from the amazing city of Chongqing was Dengrong one of the hotel staff. She was available whenever we needed help and was extremely nice and helped us arrange a great itinerary for our stay. Her hotpot recommendation was great! Will definitely consider booking again. Facilities: They have a washing machine with a dryer, which I didn't get to try as I arrived quite late this time. The TV offers live broadcasts with 30 channels, including major networks, which was sufficient. All necessary shower amenities are provided, along with both disposable and bathroom slippers. The showerhead even features multiple spray settings. The WiFi speed wasn't great, which might be related to the high occupancy – I noticed a lot of international guests during my stay. Service: They offer a parcel receiving service, but it seems they handle a lot of deliveries, so it's best to know what your package looks like to help them find it faster. The breakfast provided for airport transfers was sufficient to fill up on, with options like fresh eggs that you can fry yourself, freshly ground coffee, congee, siu mai, and fresh fruit. Cleanliness: Cleanliness was satisfactory. Environment: The area downstairs is packed with small restaurants, so you'll never go hungry, no matter the hour. Pudong Airport Shuttle Service: They offer a scheduled minibus shuttle to Pudong Airport; during regular hours, just contact them in advance, and it generally runs once an hour. The airport drop-off is a shared coach service with other hotels. It departs each hotel at XX:40 and arrives at the terminal on the hour. Make sure to manage your time accordingly. It drops off at Terminal 1 first, then Terminal 2. Disneyland Shuttle: I didn't get to try the Disneyland shuttle this time. My original plan was to arrive by 3 PM and use the free shuttle to scout the area a day beforehand, but my travel schedule was delayed. Maybe next time if the opportunity arises.

We stayed here for our last 3 days in Shanghai. Picked it as it was close to the attractions we wanted to see plus there was a free shuttle going to them and the airport ☺️ The staff were friendly and helpful. Laundry service which was great and a big selection for breakfast. Starbucks, HeyTea, mc D and other little chinese restaurants and supermarket like 2 mins walk away. We also had a very good facial near the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Was also my daughter’s birthday so they made the room all cute for her. Water and new slippers in the room every day..

Great hotel for a couple of nights. Comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. Bath with hot water ❤️. No problem checking in late at night. It is very convenient that the owner provides a transfer to Disneyland and back. Everyone is very responsive and friendly. Disadvantages: not very good WiFi, and the air conditioning is not strong enough. But for a couple of nights in cool autumn weather this is normal, not critical.

A Perfect Stay – Exceptional Service and Thoughtful Perks I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the excellent service provided by the staff. Everyone I encountered was warm, polite, and incredibly attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure my comfort. Their hospitality truly made the stay feel special. What really stood out were the thoughtful complimentary perks that added so much value to the experience. Each day, I received a fresh selection of fruits in my room, along with a delicious complimentary dessert delivered in the evening (available between 5pm and 11pm - just inform the front desk and they will send to your room). On top of that, the hotel offers free daily laundry service, which was incredibly convenient, especially for a longer stay. The free flow of coffee and tea in the lobby was also a nice touch, creating a cozy space to relax or catch up on work. One of the highlights of my stay was the impressive breakfast spread, which offered a great mix of both Western and local dishes. Whether you're in the mood for a comforting bowl of congee or a classic Western breakfast, there's something for everyone – fresh, tasty, and well presented. The location is another big plus – the hotel is just a short walk from Yuanshen Road metro station, making it very easy to get around the city. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-located place with top-notch service and generous amenities, I highly recommend staying here.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and near to Shanghai Disneyland. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The pool area was well-maintained and a great place to relax.

Airport is conveniently located in the airport between T1 and T2. However if you are a transit traveler you should go out a transit zone, fill the forms, go through immigration gate and get a short-stay visa. It will take up to an hour. Better the hotel would be inside the transit zone. As for the hotel - it’s very big. Carpets in the corridor have a lot of stains, look like they were not changed more than 10 years. Reception area is also shabby and old-fashioned. The room is about 18-20 m, not very big. There are toiletries, slippers, water, kettle, tea. No fridge. Rather silent. But despite the fact I asked for silent room they settle us near the room where housekeeping ladies kept bedding so they were laughing and talking very loudly near our room. We were trying to get asleep after long night flight and finally I got out of bed and asked them to be quiet. All in all impression that the management doesn’t take any actions towards increasing service and renovating the interior.

The manor is amazing. The castle we booked has floor heating. The room is very comfortable and the children love it. The sanitary products are of good quality. Disposable slippers for children are specially prepared. The two-day Disney trip is perfect.

Very cozy and homely definitely my kind of bedroom - so much so that i laze around for half a day before head out. Owner super friendly and welcoming, definitely a Jay chou fans based on the little quotes design added to every corner of the homestay - i like it ! Very thoughtful that they even provide bath bomb and rose petal for bath tub and most importantly earplugs, no more soundproofing issue, what an awesome place to stay but sadly only booked a night ! A secluded hidden gem that i highly recommend.

we booked 2 Eton Rooms (includes bathtub) and it was very comfortable. our rooms were on the same level but far apart and even though the overall room size were the same, the sizes of bathroom & living area are different for both rooms. metro station was right outside the hotel and was easily accessible to most tourist attractions. concierge was really helpful and went the extra mile when helping us.
