Shanghai Jing'an District Hotels

It's a homey oasis located on a quiet street in the heart of Jing An. Really appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, who really made every effort to make us feel at home. It is a good work base as there is space near the lobby to work, many great food and coffee places in the neighborhood. The only downside is sound proofing is not great and with the sports hall nearby, you can get disrupted early morning but it was not too bad. Will stay again, the next time I m back for work.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my recent trip to Shanghai. The location is absolutely perfect - being so close to Shanghai Railway Station made arrival and departure incredibly convenient, especially when traveling with luggage. Despite being near the station, the hotel is surprisingly central and well-connected to the city’s main attractions. From here, I could easily reach most of Shanghai’s tourist hotspots without spending hours in transit. The Bund, Yu Garden, Nanjing Road, and other must-see places were all accessible via short subway rides or taxi trips. The transportation links from this area are fantastic. The housekeeping service deserves special mention. My room was impeccably clean throughout my stay, with daily service that was thorough and professional. Fresh towels, well-made beds, and spotless bathrooms - exactly what you want after a day of exploring the city.

The staff were incredibly attentive and super helpful with our baby, making our family trip so much easier. Their kindness and willingness to assist truly stood out. The location is excellent – situated on a charming street filled with cozy cafes, lively bars, and cute boutiques. It was the perfect spot to explore the area while having everything we needed right nearby. We also appreciated the daily complimentary coffee and bottled water, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh options. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The hotel is conveniently located about a 7-minute walk from Metro Line 2, making it easy to explore Shanghai. Our room has the view of the iconic 1000 Trees. The room was relatively clean and comfortable, though the partial partition between the bathroom and sleeping area felt a bit awkward, as the bathroom door was visible from the bed. Breakfast was serviceable but could be improved in terms of variety and flavor.

This is our go-to hotel whenever we visit Shanghai with the kids. The rooms are impeccably clean and tidy, offering a tranquil oasis amidst the city's hustle and bustle. The presence of many international guests is a testament to its quality and popularity. The facilities are practical and well-suited for relaxation, entertainment, or getting work done. Highly recommended! Its convenient location near Jing'an Temple and Jiuguang Department Store is a huge plus.

The hotel staff is amazing.. tries to accommodate my request during my visit.. shouted out to ”WANG XIN LONG” 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 he get me sugar for my coffee when I check in pretty late and got a headache (this maybe simple or silly for some people but mate, you are amazing, really appreciate it) l Room was nice, comfy, can hear people talking outside but it was comfortable stay.. location wise doesn't really affect me as I used didi all the time. Thank you guys.. its worth to visit shanghai for 24 hrs.. and thank you for the late check out... adiossss.....

Really enjoyed my stay at NOA Hotel in Shanghai. The location is super convenient close to Jing’an Station and just a short walk to Changping Road station. Lots of food options around, and even a FamilyMart about 10 minutes away. I stayed in the King Institute room, which was big and comfy. The bed was great, and I loved the little extras like the smart toilet and blackout curtains. The lobby bar, DECK, is awesome, lots of craft beers to choose from and a nice vibe to hang out. Breakfast is decent. The buffet is small (eggs, fruit, toast), but they also have a menu with both Western and Chinese options, which was a nice touch. There’s also a free laundry room with 3 machines on the 4th floor. Overall, a great mix of comfort, good location, and nice little details. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in Shanghai for two days, with the first night at the Deep Pit Hotel and the second here. Aside from the room being a bit small, everything else was excellent. It had a very cozy feel, and the service was great. Personally, I found the experience here far better than at the Deep Pit Hotel (which, to me, felt more like a novelty or a photo-op spot). At the Deep Pit, despite a large staff in the restaurant, the food was mediocre and didn't compare to other four or five-star hotels. This hotel's restaurant, however, was fantastic: breakfast was available until 12 PM, and they even offered late-night supper (wontons). The lobby also featured entertainment facilities. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance. Just a small suggestion: for breakfast, it would be great if the *youtiao* (fried dough sticks) could be cut into smaller portions. A whole stick can be too much for one person, leading to waste if it's not entirely finished or to their liking.

Our first trip to Shanghai we did a lot of research and ended up choosing the Atour team due to the fact they are modern and new, it was the best decision of our trip as the team and hotel were beyond our expectations. From the night we arrived we were treated with the nicest reception crew and helped us check in and even accommodated our room upgrade request last minute. They were extremely patient and helpful the whole way through. The hotel was clean and very convenient to all sorts of shops and transport. The free supper at the restaurant was a very nice touch. The free amenities like gym and laundry was a life saver for our 2 week trip, I couldn't imagine doing laundry when I come home after a trip! The room amenities and service were amazing, complimentary water, ice tea and soft drinks with daily refills shows small things go a long way, unlike some major hotels that charge you for small things in the room, Atour will make you feel like you're right at home. The management staff needs to be applauded as they've trained a very respectful and kind hearted team, they assisted with a lot of local request that we struggled with. Being a tourist having local support and guidance was to die for. We will definitely be traveling to China again and for sure only going to stay with the team at Atour, they have places all across China and that's already a good enough reason to visit other cities. 5+++++++!!! For families they also have cartoon theme rooms and suites to select as well. Thank you team Atour!❤️

I was in Shanghai for an exhibition and booked The Kunlun Hotel through an online travel platform. Its location is fantastic, super close to the subway; just 100 meters from Exit 12 of Jing'an Temple Station! Stepping inside, I was immediately impressed by the sheer space and grandeur. The lobby is expansive, with high ceilings, and feels incredibly opulent. I stayed on a high floor. My initial room was on the 23rd floor, offering a view of Jing'an Temple. Unfortunately, there was a minor issue: the air conditioner started leaking, so I had to switch rooms. My second room, on the 28th floor, then had a splendid view of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. From both high vantage points, Shanghai's bustling traffic looked incredibly dense and vibrant. As someone who can feel overwhelmed by crowded patterns, it was quite a sight! The hotel also generously invited me to a buffet meal at their 38th-floor restaurant. There was a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, though I regret forgetting to take photos. The Japanese ramen was decent, and overall, it was a simple yet satisfying meal. However, I must say, sitting by the window and looking down offered a truly commanding perspective, allowing me to once again soak in Shanghai's dynamic energy. It was a wonderful experience! As for the room itself, it was perfectly equipped with everything one could need and was genuinely comfortable and well-appointed! A quick tip for fellow travelers: toothbrushes are not provided in the room, so if you forget yours, remember to ask for one at the front desk. I was a bit rushed during check-out, so I didn't get a chance to photograph the breakfast buffet area. However, the breakfast buffet actually offered a great ambiance and a wide variety of choices – it was quite good! Should I visit Shanghai again, I would definitely choose this hotel.
