5/5 – Perfect Family-Friendly Stay in a Great Location We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and super helpful with our baby, making our family trip so much easier. Their kindness and willingness to assist truly stood out. The location is excellent – situated on a charming street filled with cozy cafes, lively bars, and cute boutiques. It was the perfect spot to explore the area while having everything we needed right nearby. We also appreciated the daily complimentary coffee and bottled water, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh options. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. We stayed here for 4 nights. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Our flight landed early in Shanghai at 4am and we reached the hotel at 6.20 am. Even though it was not check-in time and we didn't request for early check-in in advance, the receptionist kindly offered us a free upgrade to another room so that we can check in earlier at 10am. The room was spacious and had many amenities. Most importantly, we had a washing machine+dryer in our apartment, so doing the laundry was extremely convenient. It was a little run-down but overall still quite clean. The downside is that there's no breakfast buffet and food options are limited here. There's a shopping centre and metro station nearby but it's still a 10 mins walk.

Very nice hotel and clean. And also near to shanghai railway station. So very easy to go out of the town. Also just a few stop to nanjing pedestrian street. Very easy and comfortable. I will back to this hotel again when travelling with my family.

Easy access from metro line 14 武定路 station exit 2.  Room is clean. Staying in Superior Double Room, come with coffee machine with free coffee capsules. Bottled water, soft drinks and snacks also free. Not forgetting the friendly staff and helpers during my stay in this hotel.

Facilities: The facilities are a little dated, but very comprehensive. The hotel lobby has a unique character, and the air conditioning works great. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean, and housekeeping was prompt. Location: Surrounded by major shopping malls and located right next to Jing'an Temple, with an abundance of fantastic dining options in the vicinity. Service: The service was undoubtedly the most impressive aspect of this stay; it was absolutely stellar and made for an incredibly smooth and pleasant experience.

Modern, Convenient, and 24/7 Service! We arrived very late (4 AM), but check-in was smooth—reception was available and welcoming. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Shanghai Railway Station, which made travel super convenient. The design is clean and modern, with comfortable rooms. Bonus: there’s a Family Mart right downstairs for quick snacks and essentials. Great stay overall!

I was in Shanghai for an exhibition and booked The Kunlun Hotel through an online travel platform. Its location is fantastic, super close to the subway; just 100 meters from Exit 12 of Jing'an Temple Station! Stepping inside, I was immediately impressed by the sheer space and grandeur. The lobby is expansive, with high ceilings, and feels incredibly opulent. I stayed on a high floor. My initial room was on the 23rd floor, offering a view of Jing'an Temple. Unfortunately, there was a minor issue: the air conditioner started leaking, so I had to switch rooms. My second room, on the 28th floor, then had a splendid view of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. From both high vantage points, Shanghai's bustling traffic looked incredibly dense and vibrant. As someone who can feel overwhelmed by crowded patterns, it was quite a sight! The hotel also generously invited me to a buffet meal at their 38th-floor restaurant. There was a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, though I regret forgetting to take photos. The Japanese ramen was decent, and overall, it was a simple yet satisfying meal. However, I must say, sitting by the window and looking down offered a truly commanding perspective, allowing me to once again soak in Shanghai's dynamic energy. It was a wonderful experience! As for the room itself, it was perfectly equipped with everything one could need and was genuinely comfortable and well-appointed! A quick tip for fellow travelers: toothbrushes are not provided in the room, so if you forget yours, remember to ask for one at the front desk. I was a bit rushed during check-out, so I didn't get a chance to photograph the breakfast buffet area. However, the breakfast buffet actually offered a great ambiance and a wide variety of choices – it was quite good! Should I visit Shanghai again, I would definitely choose this hotel.

I gotta say big thx for all guys that work there. Stuff was awesome and very helpful. Accommodation is super duper cool It’s totally worth it to live there If you wanna spend BEST time in Shanghai you must choose BLINQ hotel but if you don’t then live somewhere else Enormous greeting from Russia

The bed was old and saggy. Shared with this front desk, hoping to change to a new room with better bed but they shared it’s an old hotel, all beds have the same issue. They offered to flip the bed tho and the service staffs promptly came and do it. Not much difference, it was still saggy but slightly firmer. Location - strategic, next to Shanghai Railway (10-20mins walk, depending on which Exit you take).

I had a small set back that would either make or break my visit to the city. Eric at the front desk was more than helpful & went above and beyond to help me turn my visit into a successful one. Much appreciated and a million thanks my guy!!!
