Shanghai Jing'an District Hotels

Our stay was very pleasant. I loved the comfortable room, there was enough space for 2 people. Light came through the window and it was a non-smoking floor. The staff was very helpful and kind. They made us feel welcome and answered all of our questions. This cute little hotel is somewhat hidden and is in the vicinity of the Jing'an Temple. If you're looking to stay near the centre and close to Nanjing Road West without being in the hub of the city, this is the place for you.

I booked three rooms for my friends and family this time, and everyone said it was absolutely fantastic! The location, facilities, and service were all top-notch. The rooms were super spacious, yet clean and tidy. The beds were just the right firmness, very comfortable. The lobby is huge, and the staff are all very friendly. They even offer complimentary lemonade, freshly ground coffee, and biscuits for guests to enjoy. That's really thoughtful. The cleaning staff were also very polite. If I get the chance, I'll definitely come back again.

Been here at least three times already. It’s a nice boutique hotel, hidden in a courtyard and located very conveniently, just a 10 min. walk from Jing’An temple subway station and in walking distance to many sights, restaurants & bars. Spacious room with cozy sofa corner and stylish bathroom. Only disadvantage: the mattress is a bit hard for my taste.

Great location 5 minutes walk from Shanghai railway station and close to the metro stations there. Close to 1,000 trees although it’s a bit awkward to get to, needs a 20 minute walk or a taxi. Bath in the room was a nice touch.

An absolutely amazing stay that exceeded all my expectations! The service was attentive and thoughtful throughout. When checking in, I was not only greeted with a warm bowl of white fungus soup, which truly touched my heart, but also received a lovely little gift. The attention to detail was incredible. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

The hotel staff is amazing.. tries to accommodate my request during my visit.. shouted out to ”WANG XIN LONG” 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 he get me sugar for my coffee when I check in pretty late and got a headache (this maybe simple or silly for some people but mate, you are amazing, really appreciate it) l Room was nice, comfy, can hear people talking outside but it was comfortable stay.. location wise doesn't really affect me as I used didi all the time. Thank you guys.. its worth to visit shanghai for 24 hrs.. and thank you for the late check out... adiossss.....

📍 Location and First Impressions The hotel is conveniently located in the bustling Jing'an district, surrounded by plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options, with easy access to transportation. The lobby is bright and clean, without overly extravagant decor, giving off a refined and understated vibe. The front desk staff were efficient with check-in and very friendly. 🏨 Pleasant Surprise: Free Room Upgrade The biggest surprise of this stay was the room upgrade from the front desk! Upon entering, the room was very spacious, decorated in a modern minimalist style, clean, tidy, and without any odd smells. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep until morning. While the city view from the window wasn't spectacular, it did add a sense of openness to the room. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, good water pressure, and hot water came quickly. The quality of the amenities was also quite good. 🍽️ Breakfast Experience: A Refined Semi-Buffet Choice I really liked that the hotel's breakfast was a 'semi-buffet' style. The buffet area offered fresh bread, salads, fruits, beverages, and cereals, all of good quality. The main dishes, however, were made to order, and the presentation and taste exceeded my expectations for hotel breakfast. This setup was very thoughtful, allowing guests to choose what they like while ensuring hot food is served fresh. ⚠️ Minor Flaw: Screen Casting Needs Improvement As someone who wanted to relax and watch shows in the evening, I spent some time figuring out how to connect my phone for screen casting. The process wasn't smooth, and although I eventually succeeded, constant pop-ups to upgrade to a casting membership ruined the experience!

We booked the hotel for 5 days & 4 nights, the location is really good just a 5 minutes walk to the subway and its very convienient and easy to find. There are alot of good shops to eat around the hotel and even in front of the hotel; that are more affordable than being in the city. The subway line also easily connects to other attractions so it was not hard to find. Do download Alipay & Wechat to use when on the trip as it makes it easier to communicate with the people especially if you can't speak mandarin. The experience we had was amazing and the hospitality from the hotel team made it even better; everyone was so nice and helpful, they attended to all our needs and queries whenever we needed clarity and assistance. There's a laundry area to wash and dry clothes as well, the cleaning ladies were so kind and helpful and always made sure our rooms were nice and clean. The front desk also allowed us to warm up our meals and let us eat around the lobby so that was really nice. A very unforgettable and memoriable stay and we will definetely come back again.

Big shoutout to Atour Hotel Shanghai Jing'an Nanjing West Road! Seriously, my stay at Atour this time was incredibly comfortable! The room was unbelievably clean – not a single wrinkle on the sheets or duvet, and even the bathroom tile grout was spotless. The decor wasn't flashy either; with the wooden desk and small sofa, it felt as cozy as visiting a friend's home. When I got hungry in the middle of the night, I went downstairs and they actually had hot late-night snacks (from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM) – so thoughtful! And the staff, they were simply amazing. When I asked where to find good food nearby, one of them drew me a simple map right on the spot and was incredibly enthusiastic. 1. Open view 2. Late-night snacks, rich and delicious food

The front desk staff were cold and robotic, and their work attitude was lax, which immediately made me lose interest in this five-star hotel. There were no welcome fruits, no smart toilet, no personalized service at all, and I didn't feel valued or welcomed as a guest. There were no small soaps for guests who don't like shower gel, and all the toiletries were large, fixed bottles – are they trying to prevent guests from taking them? If you want to stay in the hotel and just have a simple meal, the executive lounge offers hardly any food. This really doesn't justify my executive room rate; it's not good value for money. The breakfast environment was decent, but it was crowded, and the food wasn't particularly impressive. The sink drained slowly, and the maintenance worker initially claimed it was normal, but after actual repairs, it improved significantly. Although the hotel is old, the overall cleanliness is excellent, it's quiet, the high-floor views are great, and it's convenient for getting around with many places to explore for a city walk nearby.
